The worse mistake you would ever make is confronting the supposed "fetish-girlfriend".Her likely intention is to cause enmity between your brother and the both of you for life.
Tell your brother to his face and if he acts like he's jinxed, prayer is the only hope.
After God,fear women.

Bandeco:

Norwegian public universities don't charge tuition fees. I guess the amount you stated is student government contribution.

Agree.

It is actually more than that even for students. As of today students need to document 3.8million naira as living expenses for 1year.
Non-students need times two of this to be granted a resident permit to seek employment.

I agree 100%. The best country in Europe in my opinion. Probably only Switzerland could rival Norway.
Unemployment is the lowest, salaries are amazing in a way that the most menial of jobs could afford u a comfortable living.

Funny enough, you need only #2.5M to study in Germany to prove you won't turn out to be a liability to the govt.

One thing people don't understand about studying in tuition free countries is that the standard of living is kinda obnoxious. E.g Norway,Germany and public universities in some Scandinavian nations. So before you apply, have it in mind that what you may spend annually is much more than you expected.

Investment / MMM Founder Writes Buhari , Says 'you Know Nothing About Our System by DAVECENA(m): 3:45am On Dec 12, 2016
Sergey Mavrodi, founder of MMM, has written an open letter to the Nigerian government to justify the importance of the popular Ponzi scheme.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the letter was displayed on the page of all participants of the scheme.
Mavrodi warned the federal government that if the Ponzi scheme collapses, millions of Nigerians will suffer, noting that “MMM is their only means of livelihood”.
He stated that the money being made from the scheme was being redistributed among Nigerians as a way of “restoring social justice”.
The letter reads in part: “So far MMM has come under a constant attack from you. In this regard, I would like to ask you a few simple questions. Since you are concerned with the interests of millions of your fellow citizens, I hope that you would be so kind to answer them.
“What are you trying to get? Do you want the MMM System to collapse and millions of people to suffer? Who will support them then if now MMM is their only means of livelihood? Will you? You even don’t pay wages to people? Or might you not care about them? Might you be using a trendy topic to make a good name for yourselves? What will you say to a mother who will have no money to buy food for her child? Will you let her child die for the sake of the higher interests of the economy?
“You say that MMM is a scam. What is the scam here, if all members are warned in advance about all the risks, the possible and impossible ones? They know there are no investments at all. The warning is a red text on a yellow background placed on most prominent place of the website.
“You say that MMM is bad. Why? Yes, it produces nothing, but nothing gets out of the country either. The money is just redistributed among the citizens of Nigeria. It gets from those who are richer to poorer ones, in this way restoring social justice. What’s wrong with that?
“You have repeatedly stated that “it should be investigated!.. researched!..” It means you know nothing about this System yet; you even haven’t understood how it works.
“And finally. If you know what is right for people, why is the life so bad in the country?”
He further noted that the MMM “has been working in Nigeria for a year, and according to your estimates, the total number of members now is about 3 million people”.
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) have previously warned Nigerians against participating in the scheme while the house of representatives also ordered an investigation into the operation of the scheme, in October.

Politics / 2017 Budget’ll End Nigeria’s Economic Woes – Buhari by DAVECENA(m): 3:18am On Dec 12, 2016
ABUJA—President Muhammadu Buhari last night expressed optimism that the proposed 2017 budget would not end the current economic recession facing Nigeria but would also shoot the country into economic prosperity.
He also enjoined Nigerians not to be deterred by the reality of the “temporary challenges” but should be strengthened by them.
The encouragement were the highlights of the president’s address to Nigerians on the occasion of 2016 Eid-el-maulud celebrations today.
Meanwhile, the president who wished Nigerians especially muslims a happy Eid-el-maulud celebration is billed to lay the budget estimates before a joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
The address read in full: “Dear Compatriots, again the calendar of life has brought us into another period of celebration, and deep reflection. Celebration, because we are marking the birth of Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him), and deep reflection, because it is another opportunity of pausing, taking a deep breath and reflecting on the current realities before us.
“First of all, I wish all Muslims a happy and memorable celebration of the birth of the great Prophet, through whose teachings, particularly on peaceful living, tolerance, sobriety, generosity, sacrifice and honesty, and wisdom, the nation has gained immensely in building a harmonious and prosperous society.
“The universal truths of the Prophet’s values remain unchanged.
“Against all odds, we have used these pillars of strength in securing a just and fair society, and our efforts are beginning to yield dividends in curbing terrorism, corruption and other crimes that devalue our humanity.
“The reality of the temporary challenges should not undermine our hope, reverse our collective will to succeed, or divide us; rather it should remind us of why we need to stay together, fight together and succeed together.
“As we look forward to 2017 with hope and huge expectations, let me assure you that with collective dedication and hard work, we will overcome the mountain of economic difficulties, and return our country to the path of prosperity.”

Politics / Environment Minister Set To Leave Buhari’s Govt by DAVECENA(m): 2:57am On Dec 12, 2016
President Muhammadu Buhari may soon carry out a minor cabinet shake-up with the imminent exit of the Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, from his administration, THE PUNCH has learnt.
Our correspondent however learnt on Sunday that the exercise might not be carried out until early next year when Mohammed is expected to leave.
The Secretary-General-elect of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, was said to have appointed the minister as his Deputy.
A government source told our correspondent that Mohammed had already made the development known to Buhari and some of her colleagues.
“For her, she would have loved to stay back and continue to serve this administration but this new appointment is a big one and is also good for her. Unfortunately for us, she has to leave in January,” the source said.
Mohammed who represents Gombe State in the cabinet acted as the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on the Millennium Development Goals after serving three presidents over a period of six years.
In 2005, she was charged with the coordination of Nigeria’s debt relief funds toward the achievement of the MDGs.
From 2002-2005, Mohammed coordinated the Task Force on Gender and Education for the UN Millennium Project.
By the time she will be leaving the cabinet in January, the number of vacant positions in the cabinet would have risen to two.
Since the March 6 death of a former Minister of State, Labour and Employment, Mr. James Ocholi (SAN), Buhari has yet to name a replacement for the politician.
The situation is already causing agitation among groups and individuals from Kogi State where the deceased hailed from.
Ocholi died alongside his wife and son in an auto crash that occurred on March 6 on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.
Since his death, Kogi State has remained without a representative in the Federal Executive Council.
This is contrary to the provision of the Constitution that stipulates that all the 36 states of the federation must be represented in the cabinet.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, on Sunday said Mohammed remained a minister.
Shehu said any development on the matter would be formally conveyed to Nigerians.
“There is a lot of exuberance on the Internet concerning a UN job for Mrs. Amina Mohammed. She remains our Minister of Environment.
“If there is anything on this that is released officially, we will let Nigerians know. I’m pleased to know that she enjoys so much goodwill,” the presidential spokesman wrote on his Facebook page on Sunday.

Foreign Affairs / [BREAKING] Gambian President Makes U-turn, Rejects Election Results by DAVECENA(m): 9:34am On Dec 10, 2016
Gambian leader Yahya Jammeh has rejected the result of the presidential election held earlier this month, a week after admitting defeat.
He said he now recommends fresh and transparent elections which will be officiated by a God-fearing and independent electoral commission
Speaking on state TV, Mr Jammeh cited “abnormalities” in the vote and called for fresh elections.
Mr Jammeh, who came to power in a coup in 1994, suffered a shock defeat to Adama Barrow, who won more than 45% of the vote.
The US “strongly condemned” Mr Jammeh’s statement.
“This action is a reprehensible and unacceptable breach of faith with the people of The Gambia and an egregious attempt to undermine a credible election process and remain in power illegitimately,” said state department spokesman Mark Toner.
Mr Barrow, a property developer, is due to take office in late January. Mai Ahmad Fatty, the head of his transition team, told Reuters they were “consulting on what to do”, adding: “As far as we are concerned, the people have voted. We will maintain peace and stability and not let anyone provoke us into violence.”
The Gambia is the smallest country on mainland Africa, with a population of fewer than two million.
Mr Jammeh said that he now rejected the results of the election “in totality”.
“After a thorough investigation, I have decided to reject the outcome of the recent election,” Mr Jammeh said.
“I lament serious and unacceptable abnormalities which have reportedly transpired during the electoral process.
“I recommend fresh and transparent elections which will be officiated by a God-fearing and independent electoral commission.”
