Abeg rest this no sane manager talk Do you know the opposite talk of such a stance? "No sane manager, knowing that he wants to slowly integrate Ethan, will sell the more experienced and 1st team players without getting the here and now replacement that will ease in Ethan gradually" How about that? If he doesn't trust him why sell off the near trusted ones. Abi na NNL we dey compete in ni? |

BlueRayDick: I doubt we would've gotten anything out of the game if we had gone the way of Burnley-Long-Balls like u suggested.
I already pointed it out that the way Atalanta was set up would make it almost impossible for us to outwit them with long balls. They had 3 CB's and 2 WB's. Two of the CB's will be on whoever we are loading the ball to while the 3rd CB will be on standby to win second ball.
If any other pattern would've worked, it's definitely not the Burnley-Long-Ball tactics. What i saw was their CBs were dragged away by Kai mostly. We had no on rushing player to take advantage of the spaceby the side or behind. Anyways we no get onside intelligent forwards sha. The Raya to Kai balls were mostly successful and led to chances but we kill the element pf surprise on such a night. Allowing all blue shirts to fall behind and then the nonsense passing around till the ball goes back to Partey and Liba |

Another angle i want us to look at is
This Ethan we are clamoring for now, if he doesn't now make any difference, we'll finally understand we're cooked abi? For our sakes, just like you, i want him to be getting at least 30mins. What's the use of others that have no creativity anyway?
Same cycle of stubbornness. |

Jodera: I'm afraid against Man City cos we'll be so much defensive without even threatening them. And even if we escape Man City, this pattern is not sustainable cos we won't be able to hold possession and use it effectively.
He knows the key to his attacking game is Odegaard's creativity, why would you sell Esr if you know you don't want Ethan to take his place immediately. It's just so sad You grab why i now frown when anyone points to the bench when we talking of players. It is not like this our Manager is letting players go cos he wants to give bench players minutes. 😹😹 Player go Player come Player fly Man still acts like his XI are aliens from Thanagaria. They gave you a chance to get what you trust yet e still dey act like he no understand why. Mtchew |

iamoyindamola: This is very wrong You guys already have negative mindset about him, the ball martinelli blazed over it was sterling that did it and that was the only clear cut chance we had all day lol okay. My own stance is clear from onset-expect nothing from Sterling. It is that bad. |

BlueRayDick: Yesterday’s match was not drawn because of lack of 9, it was drawn because we lacked a creative player in the middle of the park.
Playing long balls would’ve achieved nothing yesterday if we had a 9. Atalanta clearly played 3 CB’s and 2 Wing backs ; if we had resorted to long balls they will just have 2 CB’s always contesting long balls with our 9 and will have an extra player to always win the second ball off that challenge.
One thing I agree with u is that yesterday’s draw was Arteta’s fault 100% . He knows we lacked our creative player in Odegaard, there’s no justification for Martinelli playing 90 minutes doing nothing tangible attack-wise. Toward should’ve come on earlier for him while we still have Saka on the pitch . Havertz too was just conceding needless fouls all over the pitch while he’s being ineffective as a midfield . Arteta as the coach should’ve had solutions to these issues . I acknowledged the lack of creativity. That's the take away from the game. I just highlighted that a 9 would have shadowed the lack of that if we had one. Why? Because a proper 9, if they had the big chances wasted by those two clowns, we would be happy we won and also admitting we lacked creativity but a 9 helped to soften that. Arteta sometimes acts like he doesn't know when to go crude and when to stay smooth and sleek. It's annoying. If we went the Burnley long balls way at some point, we for see something from it. But... Stubborn Mikel |

Jodera: I no know where Jesus Pre Wc dey.
Omorr, him and Martinelli just dey vex me. The less said about Havertz in midfield, the better. I'm getting tired of predicting my teams outcomes. I really am. Chai. This is a loss imo. Raya is the difference with that double saves. It is discourteous to not reward such a GK with a W or a goal at least. That's the appreciation such heroics deserves. Unfortunately, the personnel lacks any bite to make any unique difference on the night that champions are born, reborn, and grow up under. Mikel Mourinho himself 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ For the sake of this UCL format can't he just get a striker? We have 3 spots with loops. A temporary fix with his long balls approach is to get a 9. That way, it shadows any loops from midfield. We will also win PK. In this team, I can't even point to 1 that will win pk easily for us. Not that nonsense Saka did last season. Anyway, City up next. Oh my days!! |

mostob: We let go of Vieira and ESR, both of whom couldn't play up to 300 minutes last season. Arteta bought Merino, promoted both Skelly and Ethan. You no be part of people wey dey lambast Arteta here for not playing youngsters?
Now Ode is injured and you dey vex say Arteta didn't buy replacement. Where do you want him to put Ethan and Skelly? let me rephrase. I'm not against youngsters. But is he acting like he will give the others minutes any time atall? The knock to Saka is the sole reason Ethan played. I even dropped a funny theory about it days ago. Replacement that will be playing immediately now. A offers 99 B the replacement is offering 50 at best That's no replacement That's emergency makeshift. Minutes is all. If they won't get it, what's the need to act like they exist? |

Jodera: Except Odegaard have a relapse but it's speculated he'll be back before our game against Liverpool which is just next month.
As for deputy, for them to exit both Esr and Viera, I think they want to make a way for Nwaneri. It's the main reason I want him fast tracked cos if they believe he's good enough (esp to create space for him into the team) then he's old enough. All these slow integration like say he's one 3rd choice doesn't sit well with me
As for Saka deputy, we have Sterling and Jesus there. Waay better than the Viera Arteta was thinking Two exit and na 1 be the replacement? Doesn't gel. The rest are simply makeshifts and that should not be banked upon to compete at the top top. We should have passed that stage by now. As for Saka, those two mendem, i no go lie, i expect nothing much this season. To bank on them to achieve our aim is a far far reach. Its so bad cos GM will still play more minutes than them combined. Just watch😂😂 |

mostob: Where did you see 4 months? 😲😲 BTW how many minutes altogether did those we sold during the last window played for us? Ligament injury that they're still doing scans on takes that long. 3months off and the extra 1 month and a few weeks for recovery. His ligament was damaged. That's enough to forget the 2months return date. At most, na December before we see our most important midfielder. He'll miss almost 20games. We should brace up for that eventually and pray no further complications on top. |

iamoyindamola: Haa let's see what our master planner will do I also complained about not getting replacement for fringe players Honestly the whole transfer just looked like a waste of time because we did absolutely nothing The fact that we have been fortunate with injuries over the years he should have known it's coming Let's wait and see You've said it precisely. If it was the normal format of games and schedules, our buys are just okay. But we'll be playing games every 3 days now going forward and this is what we got. Inadequate!!! We'll wait and see. The January window better be the busiest for our club, not because we have to, but because we need to ease and reduce the probability of injuries due to the schedule of games. It's annoying seriously. |
