Looks like the initial lineup had calafiori at LB snd MLS at middle left. But it's not registering as a sub still. Last minute changes maybe iamoyindamola: Saka wasn't in the starting line up Who did he replace |

iamoyindamola: Not that This game is very different from all our matches something is off Our boys always play safe passes but today is different, against Birmingham we were playing safe too You're right sha. But Wigan no get wetin go make us stress ourselves that way. Maybe na Odegaard sha. |

iamoyindamola: Quick question guys Can Arteta ever free the boys and take less risk approach in matches? I am very sure this wasn't the game plan today, watch wolves on Wednesday and see my point. Eze is having the freedom he craves for today look at everyone and tell me Arteta can allow such freedom in epl The thing is we using long balls and less of the need to possess. We have runners good enough for such upfront. Eze doesn't need to truly drop deep. I dunno if it's cos of Norgaard sha cos Zubi doesn't act like Norr. Wigan and Wolves ought to be treated same way sha. I guess seeing Saka in the middle is confusing too for them. I love the freedom |

MSGAMBLE9: Have been saying this since even Zubi has no business almost seeing out yesterday match with Norgaard rooted to the bench... maybe Merino injury alters his plan sha as Trossard went down, i expect Arteta to start handling Rice with care henceforth. Guy is breathing b2b from epl to efl to epl. Shuuu. Let the guy rest ir come off the bench abeg. The Merino injury should make them wary now. I expect Norgaard seeing more minutes sha, or if possible, MLS in midfield. |

BlueRayDick: This guy really worry Saliba yesterday . I will continually be grateful that we have gone past the days of Mustafi , Sokratis, David Luiz, Chambers and co playing CB .
We would’ve easily conceded with any of those guys playing against Brobby yesterday That brobbey na bully. The yellow no worry me cos i knew it was a physical game between both. Ref didn't blow for some brobbey fouls on liba so he revved up and went bar for bar. That guy looks like Da Bull Amokachi. |

We did this without Saka and Odegaard on the pitch. Omo.
I wanted Trossard out after 70th min cos man was struggling. Why didn't Arteta act fast as he saw him limping? I hope it's not that serious sha. Guy and Cala understanding no be here. |

TheLoneCitizen: 100%. He has broken barriers with that debut. Especially for that fee.
Raised performance of the entire team that Atlético played thier best first half under Simeone (according to fans).
No Nigerian is ever moving to Turkey before 30 after this. It also likely gives more credence to AFCON, cause his 7G/A was no fluke. I really hope the local based aiming for european career take advantage of this. Clubs too. Mola has raised the bar and now its making me feel somehow about VO turkey decision. I hope he leaves Turkey sha. They both can be tearing la liga apart. At least VO has been to Bundesliga, Ligue 1, serie A. Remain EPL/Laliga. The way Griezmann dey look our guy yesterday mehn!! 😆😆😆😆 |

TheSuperNerd: Ade walked into Atletico, unveiled at Metropolitano, adorned with #22 in double anticipation of his electric exposition.
Betis in Green and White thought they could confuse Mola but the only Green-white Mola adores is the real Green White Green - The colors of the Super Eagles. Betis became Greenhorns at the feet of Lookman. He took his goal well and he didn't even need to look, man. Betis got boiled like green peas being used to make fried rice.
Lookman is a Super Eagle, not a verdiblanco apologist. This is the real reason betis lost their realness. They walked into the game as "Real" Betis but met Lookman and realised "Real" belongs to him coz he is a Real baller come down from the gods.
This was dessert though, Main course na sunday coz they meet again, this time at Metropolitano. No soothsayer need be sought on what lies ahead for Real stays with Lookman while Betis stays Beaten. The last time a super Eagles player's debut for a top 5 European league club wowed us all must be Iheanacho. Pls help clarify. |

TheLoneCitizen: He's one of those humble players that if you foul, a fight breaks out. And best of all, he joined the most aggressive team in the world.
Can't wait for Raul Garcia to drop a two-footer, and World War 3 begins. Simeone no even sabi wetin he don carry. Lol. Na later hin eye go clear say shuuu, where was this guy all along. I believe this will attract Atletico to come scout in Nigeria sha. I pray. Barca and Madrid, shine ya eyes o |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by daveP(m): 10:57pm On Feb 05 |
Mola is bound to end up with 20 G/A in all competitions for Atletico Madrid at this rate. He can easily pull 30 in a full season. That guy loves to talk on the pitch alone. Can't even label him a talker off the pitch. This team don get joker. Simeone no need all those headache approach again. And if teams try to double up on him, it opens up space for Griez and Alvarez. |

Odunayaw: If they like let them not reform the league. Let Eguavon and the others be focused only on sneaking local players into national team.
Just look at the travesty! That league needs to be demolished and rules and fomat and all needs to be rebuilt with sense. These oldies no fit siddon for room to give any life to that league. Fact!! |

TheSuperNerd: That is why it is the famed league of talents. LIGUE 1 is the one league in the Top 5 leagues that gives far more gametime to U-23/U-21 Talents throughout a season than any other of the Big 5 leagues. If there's any league to mirror and imitate for NPFL, I'll pick the Ligue 1 style. Let that league become grooming ground for u25 talents and watch Europe and the world come to pump money via player sales into it, just the way they do to the Brazilian youngsters. The legal framework of the EPL is what the NPFl should adopt, especially that Modern Slavery part. The way top 6 clubs in epl gather talent for French Ligue, same for Madrid. Endrick on fire. |
