She really need to be told…@40+ there’s nothing Onome Ebi can contribute on the Field of Play anymore look at her fellow Oldies Sinclair, Marta, Becky S and Seger they’re all playing Competitively at Club level in the top leagues, if she was with any Clubside playing competitively and regularly I don’t think we would be complaining like this, her refusal to retire is arguably blocking the way for Younger Center Backs like Onyiyechi Zogg, Maureen Umeh, Akudo Ogbonna.. Retire now that the ovation is high let the Younger Ones have the time to develop and compete for the Spot… Not that we don’t even have, the talents are there if Onome keep taking that one spot how do we get to see the Younger Ones at the Senior National team level??
she enter my dm to call me fool for telling her to stepdown when ovation is loudest. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I don't block am back. Just imagine. Aspa we hate you now. People dey insult her for her post, I didn't.

She's really adamant and stewpd

Sir I won't call it a wrong decision it was Berti vogts preference, he loves his goalkeepers tall. And I can't remember any game ejide was poor safe for one game he caught the ball and drop it inside the post which the ref disallow. I'll likened enyeama-ejide situation to Buffon and Toldo of Italy, two good keepers but one was better.
I was vexed that year too but now i know better. I don't mind any consequent coach repeating this, but with sense. No GK should feel tooo comfy on national duty. That way,. Competition and improvement of the good goalies will cause step up and that will boost levels al round too.

Anyway give me Onyinyechi Okeke and Faith Omilana from the Home Based Goalies
Onyi seem to not be catching eyes yet and that's a problem for me. Why the snub?

Some of the comments am seeing on some of the transfer pages is that she chose Money over Morals.

If you’re not among the big names and National Team Player you can barely earn $50,000 a year from the Women’s game.. except You’re in the Asisat Oshoala, Puttelas, Renard, Diani, Vivian Miedema, Alex Morgan, Rapinoe, Bronze Level that you will be earning above $200,000 to $1M annually..

In the top Divisions in France, Spain, Germany, Sweden, England and the NWSL they earn as little as $1500 monthly as minimum Salary… When you get the Saudi/China Offer it’s difficult to ignore it especially when you can get what you get a year in two months over there..!
That's true. It's hard for anyone to not think that. But they deserve better and if na my pikin get such chance, hop on it. She's proven her worth also. Ashleigh na better person jare. Make she enjoy am. You can't also see all the brouhaha from nff and not prioritize whatever will make you less reliant on that as it causes aluta that nobody wants currently.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 3:42pm On Sep 13, 2023
Mixed feelings for Ashleigh Plumptre move for me. But hearing she's earning 8× more than England.... Wow.

What a way to bow out for Oparanozie. I hope Ebi takes a cue and stop being silly with talks. My opinion though.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Nigerians Are Good In Creating Problems And Later Blame The Government. by daveP(m): 12:33am On Sep 12, 2023
This is unnecessary. If the police force is doing the right thing, without bending or acting like they can't challenge power drunk politicians, we won't need to talk about this. This occurs in every society around the world. The difference is law and order reduces it in a society the police at least, care for lives and property.

You no even complain about Rasheedat Ajibade. Awoniyi wey no even dey top 20 footballers that celebrate in such manner naim you dey tackle. Haba?!

We Africans dey learn for that area sef. Go American athletics or the Caribbean. You go quickly forget Awoniyi to complain about him. This is not new in football. The story behind him starting to celebrate this way is what you should dig up. You'll get his why. Till then, forget the mata.

It's better to remove one of them and play a 4-2-3-1 to reduce the confusion.

But because our coach feels pressured to play our big star CFs....they must all be jam-packed onto the pitch!
I hope it's not his personal idea to pair them upfront? We don't need 2 strikers, especially when both don't know which will play the Harry Kane role.

Osimhen and Awo are running into same channel

Not nice to see

Though Osimhen drift most times wide to give Awo his space
Whoever is with the ball should then be wiser and run further and get shots on target. It is helpful as it creates this large space to explore During the counter. It's not a must they get the final shot. The rain though.

Besides, we need to perfect playing out from the back. It's still somehow. And this is merely Sao Tome putting pressure on us. Haba.

Special Ops is a 5/10

The Chi is a great series. But it lost many deep characters with deep stories and slowly became a teenagers life series with average storylines.
