The way Arteta want to deploy him is farther right than deep like MLS. The closer Eze is to Gyokores, the better for our attack. He moves no doubt but with MLS and Norgaard, even Rice will have some freedom. I'm not convinced with Zubi for this UCL. Eze was dropping too much vs Bayer and Rice was doing Zubi's work than Zubi. Plus this Timber attack needs to stop imo. Guy gets in the way but decision making stiffles an already sweet chance simply because ball is at his feet. I believe he will do better for the 2nd leg though. Probably a goal or assist.
