If I tell you say I no dey feel your pain, I’d be lying. This draw hurts because this ravaged Liverpool had no business playing us out of the game the way they did.

We struggled to adjust to Slot’s adjustments in the 2nd. Infact, the 2nd half was how Liverpool ended the first and should have clued us going into halftime.

But, like I said earlier, let’s take the point and focus on Forest next week.

Everything is still in front of us.

We move!
Im glad you admit this. Im simply expressing my own pai n but someone thinks it is overreacting. Some vent now, some later, some never. What else are we discussing here if not football. Spy is a kid and i won't take such disrespect from him next time. It's a faceless forum.

Don’t beat yourself too much. Good thing 2-4 couldn’t take advantage.
I have too. Cos of that 1-0 defeat. Twas painful. But not as painful as playing like all we wanted was to get 1point from 6. With such firepower again. If they didn't all have 3 draws each they would have made us 3rd by now. To capitalize should be a norm to us by now. Well, we meuve!!

Im pissed we can take 1 point from a possible 6 from Liverpool this season. That's why e dey vex me baaje.

1/6 and they grab 4/6

Spin it however you want but Arteta approach caused this. Plus he didn't even have a plan with the subs to stop that Liverpool control.

Make nobody remind me that we ar topping whatever table abeg. undecided

1/6
😖😖😖😖

They control they no fit shoot on goal to score. But we in turn, whatever the stats show, na 0-0.

Rubbish!!!

He wasn't great in the 2nd half so is the entire team except Saliba who back off forward press... We want the results but couldn't press for the ball
What you're trying to do now is soften the blame on his role by spreading it to the entire team. No need to do that. It's unnecessary. Liverpool Control happened because he was poor at his job IN THIS GAME. pls tell blueray this cos he thinks I'm hunting zubi. 😂

We were stale upfront. Dying minutes no urgency.

Watford will have dying minutes urgency and grab a goal. We act like we have no urgency.

Which reins would Partey take?

This match clearly lacked goals and that's why we didn't win. All this cappings about Partey in match day 20 is just Nostalgia doing a number on you.

We've played matches tougher than this Loserpool match this season and we won with Same Zubi doing his midfield job. You no call Partey that time. Even matches we would normally lose when Partey was still here, we won with same Zubi o.

If the attackers had scored, you won't be forcing nonexistent blame on Zubi.

In this match Gyokeres didn't have up to 10 touches. Martinelli played rubbish, Odegaard kept running around circles and the other wingers/attackers were poor, I don't see you blaming them for the draw. It is Zubi that kept reviving ball from defenders and recycling the ball is whom u want to blame? As how now? 🤷‍♂️
Lol. Feel free. But a partey would have done way better than zubi for this game. That's that!

Let's dive to City to review when 9s are having less touches(this is not to absolve Gyo. He was a ghost tonight)

But when Haaland has few touches in a 1st half, pep changes that by ensuring his midfielders see spaces to shoot from outside. This drags away attention from his 9 that is already working to take one touch to net. One touch.

What we do is

We recycle over and over and that reduces the chances of any 9 from touching the ball UNLESS he drops deep to touch. With how we do all available 9s from Kai to whoever will drop deep. GJ will be deep already and the 9 zone is empty but he will barely get space to shoot still plus anything aerial duel is already a minus vs Dijk and konate. So what does a manager do to tweak such stalemate? Allow such continue?

Liverpool’s midfield performed better than ours
This wasn't hard to see all game. Yet we some prefer should just wave hand and not put blame on who deserves it. Terrible forward line aside Martinelli who still got back to defend again.

It is high time we start benching Victor and start playing Merino or Jesus. No positive impact so far from the guy.
Me dunno why he chose to start Gyo. Jesus should have started. But even the attack and feeding of balls was terrible tonight. So any forward will do nothing threatening to those guys. I saw 2 chances for Gabu to test Allison from distance but subconsciously, all bodies on the pitch knew the ball will go sideways. Too predictable. What makes it painful is this liverpool aren't at their best right now. So why can't we even hurt them. Controlling at our back yard is insulting.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by daveP(m): 11:05pm On Jan 08
BlueRayDick:
Partey control kor, Partey remote ni.

Zubimendi has been a clear upgrade from Partey since this season start.

Partey control won't win this game. If our attackers and wingers don't get the ball in the net, we won't win the game whether it's Partey playing or another player.

The major reason we didn't win this game was simply because our players upfront which includes Saka, Odegaard, Madueke, Martinelli and Trossard were caressing the ball in the final third when they should either be shooting or forcing a corner out of our chances. We had absolute control of the first half and didn't do anything with it.

So blaming Zubimendi for the second half when Loserpool controlled the tempo of the match is unfair and reeks of Ur bias for Partey. Nothing more.
Zubi was poor this 2nd half. Liverpool enjoyed that control because of how he played in this very game, vs Liverpool again. Feel free to disagree pls. But partey would have taken the reins off that nonsense control Liverpool had. Admit it

When we talk about this man I hope you won't defend him
His approach to big games are very poor
Still 6 points but we should be winning this
It is very very terrible mehn. Low bottom teams in dying minutes do ball launch from deep cos they KNOW it is DYING minutes but we are still passing ball left to right asif Control is the Focus and Objective. This is shameful.

Yes we are top of the league but tnis was abysmal mentality on display tonight. For a Liverpool team low on confidence? Goalless draw!!!

They are low on confidence and see how they took the game to us this 2nd half. Imagine they're full, they go just silence Emirates with lone goal and defend fully cos they very much know we can't bite with what we've put on display so far tonight. I detest this kind of approach so bad. Especially against Liverpool.

Szobo got a frrekick in the same zone at Anfield. Why is it hard for us to replicate same and let Declan Rice repeat the Madrid goals from 30yrds out? Oh we don't move central!! Shameful mehn

Mancity has dropped points to teams they won last season. We've picked points from 4 teams we lost to last season. If we can do justice to Liverpool, it will be the launchpad to a even better 2nd half of this season.

Burnout is one top issue for many clubs. Backroom staff seem to be doing excellent to manage that. It means we should have a more bigger squad than our immediate rivals once UCL and carabao resumes.

Let's extend this to 8 and i see Villa and City dropping more points. Let's clean up Liverpool an i hope a tifo is ready by the fans too.

Bruno or no Bruno , Osimhen should learn how to talk to his team mates . i remembered when he scored against Tunisia or Tanzania .... he went to warn somebody ... no be all fight you go fight , you have to leave some . my write up only faulted the 2 of them .
That was the Tunisia game. He went to warn the Tunisia coach and got a yellow for that.

The summary of this tournament for him should be about performance but he himself seem to want it to end up being about attitude no matter how those defending him want to downplay it. We all joined hands to call out Nwabali BS even if he lost a loved one. Nobody defended his temperament and said "that's passion" or "that's how he is"

Im seeing on NL FP and X and even Arise TV are saying he said he wants to leave camp. I dunno if it is true, but that's a new development and I'm waiting so bad for those defending him to now start on that. I want to see something.

See how even ladies are calling out Pooja and other naija sport journos for being two-tongued on the matter. That's the Nigerian problem.

One reason i love the German team is they'll have 2 Iwobis and two Osimhen/Akor and a false 9. Remove 1st Iwobi and the 2nd one comes on to sustain the tempo with a new 9 or a false 9. We never reach that level yet. Once some starting xi comot match, tempo is lost. I don't like it. Can't remember the last time the bench came on and outperformed those that started the game in G/A.
