Milner is 37 and still playing at the highest level , so also Ashley Young but Thiago is 38, then you have a João Moutinho , and Vardy all 36 but still playing at the highest level.

The key issues is that they are able to still play at the highest level and not just warming the bench in the best league in the world.

Her U20 teammate, Debbie Ajibola, who actually logged a lot of minutes during the US and Japan friendlies is not even being considered as an option and yet, you're talking of Onyenezide? I see her chances of making the final squad as 0%.

You want to write her off cos of few minutes? We can't drop such talent because of that. But no problem. I get why she won't make the list.

Forget all these old school talk by nigerians about waiting for your time. Its nonsensical. Any list without Onyenezide is incomplete. We've always lacked 2nd half tempo in our last 4 WC during 2nd half. We've been consistent with that, especially as we don't have threat during the 65-85th mins. Esther can change all of that iMO. She should be going, especially as i see a Caicedo also going, bar injury.

Alhassan is also an option but I've not watched him.

Those two aren't good defensively. But an impressionable manager will make them do such. One player i want to see play in GWG this year is Alhassan. Let's see what he can offer.

Having two players like Khava and Odegaard behind them on a national team level without even a top coach is already doom for any African team right now.

With such kinda player that Olise is, complicated, weird, special, etc, i can bet that no local coach can effectively handle him off pitch. They'll probably fume at how his ways look "disrespectful" but be extremely happy when he performs on pitch, if he gets to rep Nigeria sha.
