Danielnino00: He is still playing mostly because of Klopp...His contract expires this summer and Klopp want the board to renew it again... until they get a younger competition for TAA, he will still be trusted with that role, esp as TAA is still hibernating. I hear MLS talks too. Klopp sabi better player too. The fact he trust him over the TAA says alot. But that will change if they get a good, young RB. |

It is very competitive for young black English players to get picked. Yet you want mature African players to find it easy.
Ask Ahmed Musa and Ighalo about it. This sums it up truly. Meaning it's more than just for footballing reasons then. |

komekn: Milner is 37 and still playing at the highest level , so also Ashley Young but Thiago is 38, then you have a João Moutinho , and Vardy all 36 but still playing at the highest level.
The key issues is that they are able to still play at the highest level and not just warming the bench in the best league in the world.
So why are most of our African players unable to maintain competitive high quality consistency after hitting 30, ❓❓ Thiago Silva especially. Some will think its talent but we often forget about talent once a player clocks 30. Its now about experience and hardwork. I won't add discipline cos most of them live Alves no get discipline normal but will still deliver on the pitch. Opportunity is another strong factor again |

AkinDS: What exactly has she done to warrant a spot on the team? Caicedo was a fully established player for the Colombian WNT before she played at the U17 and U20 tournaments. Onyenezide has been MIA since the U20 and really did not shine when invited to the SF by Randy - that's why she barely got any playing minutes during both the US and Japan games she was invited for. Her U20 teammate, Debbie Ajibola, who actually logged a lot of minutes during the US and Japan friendlies is not even being considered as an option and yet, you're talking of Onyenezide? I see her chances of making the final squad as 0%. You want to write her off cos of few minutes? We can't drop such talent because of that. But no problem. I get why she won't make the list. |

Its nonsensical. Any list without Onyenezide is incomplete. We've always lacked 2nd half tempo in our last 4 WC during 2nd half. We've been consistent with that, especially as we don't have threat during the 65-85th mins. Esther can change all of that iMO. She should be going, especially as i see a Caicedo also going, bar injury. |

mostob: Olise and Eze are also options but I didn't mention them because I'm concerned about their defensive aspect and also because they're not our players. Alhassan is also an option but I've not watched him. Those two aren't good defensively. But an impressionable manager will make them do such. One player i want to see play in GWG this year is Alhassan. Let's see what he can offer. |

Ndidi at DM.. Etebo playing B2B and Iwobi at AM... But Etebo is mostly all pace, energy and little technicality... Right now, i hope we get the best out of this peak mode of Iwobi. Etebo kon be like he no get 2nd true true. But we go dey alright as we got more technical guys around. |

Danielnino00: A front three of Chukwueze Osimhen and Lookman looks really good on paper...
Moffi doesn't have start alongside Osimhen...he can always come in as a sub... Peserio should get that midfield working and we could have a lethal front three!
Simon is also there... Having two players like Khava and Odegaard behind them on a national team level without even a top coach is already doom for any African team right now. |

With such kinda player that Olise is, complicated, weird, special, etc, i can bet that no local coach can effectively handle him off pitch. They'll probably fume at how his ways look "disrespectful" but be extremely happy when he performs on pitch, if he gets to rep Nigeria sha. |

mostob: I don't mean to compare both. Just pointing out that White is actually faster. We should be more wary of Weghorst IMO. He is the real threat, not Rashford. Inasmuch as we remain compact at the back, White should have no problem with Rashford Weghorst starts tonight. Malacia rested. If that guy injure two Nigerians b2b i go swear for am. glad Partey is Available. Let's see how things will go in that centre. Xhaka should pls go airplane mode for village pipu |

mostob: I might be wrong but White is actually faster than Tomi. He is more rugged and calm. White should retain his spot IMO.
As for Martinelli, he is just off form. I trust him to be back. Bonus: Casemiro will be suspended for the game if he get a yellow card tonight. White? In which game? Compared to Yasu? You've forgotten so fast the streak of Games Yasu was in before he got injured? The hope bis Arteta barely tweak his XI so White will definitely start. But he should prepare for Rashford iMO. White is not good in these Running one on one duels. He's okay with marking sha. But not that speed. We must do all to avoid repeating that high line mistake again. As for Case, they may not play him so he can avoid suspension. |

These guys definitely don't understand the law sha.
Unarmed civilians need to be shot at as first reaction. Not even a warning shot in the air?
How good is the off weapon skills, especially Crowd dispersal and control and reducing tension? Zero!
Do they enter places with Formation wrt exit points and views of the terrain? With their all time low rep, do they care about why people react to them with hostility?
An SP justifying all former civilian killings and shielding murderers. I wish the law was holding these guys with a high accountable mark. |

Rashford is full of Running all day. A Man Marking will help. Someone with Pace to match. I think Tomiyasu should start the game. Ben White no fit hold that guy in all truths. Partey will be back, so i expect he and Xhaka to turn things around cos Case might be on Odegaard and we have to also prepare for that as well. Not cos we are afraid, but cos we have to foresee outcomes nobody likes if overlooked.
For now, Nketiah brings one pressure that is great for our pacy Nelli. I hope he's ready to release splitting passed from deep to either of Nelli and Saka.
We are winning that game.
Eriksen really had a great day in that 1st leg. |

Won't be surprised we are analyzing Falcons situation better on here than with the Waldrum crew. Especially for players assessment per position. That man inspires no confidence.
