I don't see anything the coaches did wrong sha in showing Laca Benzema movt and positioning to learn from him. What I meant was that Laca was too involved in buildup neglecting that he'll need to be in the box to strike. Why I'm even saying the "old dog new tricks stuff" Is because that's what Laca have been doing for the greater part of his career and it'll be difficult to just change it suddenly

And as for the Laca issue, it's good the coaches noticed how Laca was not getting into scoring positions and was trying to help him. But then, he's 30yrs so it's difficult to teach old dog a new trick I guess

I sometimes feel this is why he majorly had issues with the top 3 oldest players in the squad. He came with a Mentality that they must bend and be rigid. It can't work. A lot has changed.


The development coach was encouraging Laca to be more involved in the box than the build up and it showed that he couldn't fill Auba's shoes, especially with the style he's used too, and as Ozil kind of player no dey again. It revealed that it wasn't simply Arteta's instructions las las, but a necessity he wanted to fill cos of Arteta's rule of helping each other.

Abi is it about height ni. All our forwards are not that tall or good aerially. Except they are hiding it, which i doubt. That Idoko foul that led to pk showed signs of a good header.

Seeing they improved on the crosses, i expect they'll fo same for the finishing.

Defensive errors got them a good portion of their goals, aside the pks they got. They are good at Cks. Their game against USA shows how bad the usa defence was. Their no 7 will struggle alot vs Imuran imo. She's their star girl.


Midfield battle? Non existent- We will come out tops.
Setpieces? I give it to them. We should be wary of in box tackles. That's if they give them a chance, which i doubt. Got some good headers too.


As for attack- i doubt they can handle our forwards, sincerely. The Ghana goal is proof of that. Even if Flourish starts from bench, they still won't be able to successfully soak in the threat. We really need to take our chances as we are going to see alot of those.

Coach Danjuma better allow Abiodun start that game. This is her kind of game.


We will be their first real test of their own strengths. I won't be surprised if they go the korean way.
