That Tunisian team is useless as fvck, they can't even trap the ball, so I don't think the South African team has anything to fear.
Truth though. Dlamini is good too. But if na Motlhalo, wahala go dey for that middle o. Refiloe Jane can't do it all.

Glory Ogbonna didn’t do well when she Came in for N Payne, Though N Payne didn’t venture forward much maybe because she was instructed to..

Tony Payne is for sure one of Randy first pick whenever he needs to name his Superfalcon first 11…

A Onguene and N Ajara Vs M Alozie and T Payne is going to be interesting… Ohale will be the one to mark the Physical M Abam who’s Alozie team mate at Houston Dash…

But I see Randy Playing a Backline of 3 CM with Payne and Alozie at Wing Back..
I think Ogbonna can still balance it, but we know who the better one is, especially with contribution to attack. I'd like to see her against a worthy opponent to know how composed she can be. That's if Randy wants to give her that chance. Ohale will come tops if it comes to Abam. That one is no match for Ohale. To ve truthful, they're the ones with jitters. But their only threat to our players are those rough tackles. I can comfortably predict a red for them

Germany vs Spain

2-0

Two shots by Germany all through the game, and they were goals. That sounds like some pages from the Men's team under Loew grin

I wish we can be that clinical. At least by half. No tension, no overdo, just waiting for the right moment but contributing to passing the back around and winning it back asap.

Bayana with 6 different scorers
We have 5.

Vs Camrooun, Onguene, Ajara can be a big threat. Got movement. So we need to win that midfield battle from start. Want to see what Estelle vs Ordega/Onumonu will be like. Ajibade has no threat on her wing. I hope we don't injure any key player in this match.

If Toni doesn't start, can she at least come on as a winger this time?

For the clash v Cameroon, I would prefer a 4-3-3 formation with this lineup:

——————————Nnadozie——————————

—-Alozie————Ohale———-Ebi———Plumptre—-

——————————-Ayinde—————————-

———————Ucheibe——Okobi———————

———-Ajibade————Onumonu———Ordega——
Okobi can come on as a sub. No chemistry between her and Christy. Then Christy knows when to sit back or go forward. Okobi doesn't. Although she sabi possession.

If you watched Oparanozie at the 2019 world cup you'll never ever ask for her to be called up and the way the SF play by hitting long balls over defense then a slow striker like Oparanozie will be a minus...

After Oshoala got injured in the world cup, she couldn't carry the team... now in 2022, there's Uchenna Kanu, Onumonu, Ordega, Ajibade, Vivian Ikechukwu, Macleans, Gift Monday, Flourish Sebastian e.t.c who can all carry the team if the main striker is injured..

3 years ago, SF would have struggled to score without Oshoala..

Let's see what they play against Cameroon.
I remember clearly. That depth is still there still. Especially inside the box. If na Wafcon level, she will deliver. But the gulf in class always shows at the WC that's why i want them to improve in setpieces for advantage. They still haven't. These long balls won't work at World Cup

The coach is largely responsible for this and South Africans were angry with here yesterday. She didn't need to field Kgatlana yesterday and should have rested her, instead she kept her in a game she only needed a draw in till she got injured.

Well Ohale did all that and also helped keep a clean sheet. So I can see why they gave her the nod. Rasheedat was involved in all 4 goals but Ohale would have been involved in more if we were more clinical. I mean look at the pass Ohale gave to Kanu, top top class.

I didn't see too much selfishness yesterday. Just a bunch of missed chances. Kanu missed like 3, Onumonu missed about the same and Macleans also missed one or 2.

At the end of the day I am more excited that we are creating these chances. Ohale offers us a nice weapon going forward and it will alter how coaches game plan against us.
BV, i saw many selfish play o. But it's alright sha.

The joy is they're creating more chances directly from the defence. E remain through the middle. Ayinde's name comes into the fold.

Oparanozie "energy and quick decision"? Are you talking about Oshoala?

Oparanozie is an Ighalo type of striker. Physque, strength and good finishing. I don't know the energy she brings that you're talking of oh. As for Omagbemi, there's nothing she would have changed in this game at least from Botswana till Burundi. We've kept it solid at the back, held the midfield and created chances and goals. What else do you want?

We just like to name people who are not around ATM and hype them to the high heavens.
nothing she would have changed in style? I disagree.

Yeah. When you look at it critically, of all the forwards we have, Esther Okoronkwo is the only skillful forward at the moment in the mode of the Ebere Orji's and younger Oparanozie/Ordega who can make things happen out of the blues. We need more of those and definitely a Sebastian depending on how well she performs at the U20 World cup.
Make Oparanozie come back abeg. That energy and quick decision she brings is lacking in attack. I see tame shots and it irks me. Saw that France Women Euros match? My my!!

I pray for synergy sha. And maybe a better coach. Cos Waldrum no be am. Omagbemi no deserve that let go. I hope she too is upgrading as well. She's really dedicated.

Played a part in the first and third goal. Plus almost every move yesterday started with an accurate long ball by her
i saw that actually. But, Ajibade was much more involved, then Ohale. Unfortunately, their selfishness and indecision from her long balls cost us 4goals.

Highlights of the Super Falcons match

Uchenna needs work on her touch. She even looks better on right foot than left. Then she needs to be selfless. Nit only her. I noticed most of the balls by Ohale into the box, the recipients weren't thinking of passing or setting up a much more free teammate. This leaves Ajibade as the most clinical in the box so far. Ordega need get on the scoresheets vs Cameroun. Then, to match teams at the WC, the Fullbacks and wingers need to start building stronger synergy. Its almost none existent.

You mean Rosa Ariyo? She's quiet slow and hasn't impressed yet even while she was in Spain. I think we should begin to look inwards a little bit as well and not just focus only on foreign based players. If we go for foreign based players, then only the most impressive should be scouted for.
I agree with you. The nwfl have some good forwards.

Im shocked that 19/25 are all new to Wafcon. So geling was supposed to be anticipated by us all. But they're doing just fine off pitch. The on pitch part isn't that obvious. E no easy. Most are playing with each other for the first time here.

Intelligence of Alozie and Payne is top most. Different positions and instructions. I think they should have a chance at their natural positions too. Mehn. They're so good we've almost forgotten they are playing out of position.

Being an ibo dominated squad. They sing a lot of native songs. Isn't an new thing. Even Nnadozie, Ebi and co do lead those moments too.

You think it's a distraction?
The male team mix it for all. You'd see Nacho singing/leading, mixing yoruba songs or Otherwise. Not a distraction but they can make it much more inclusive for all.

Did 3 teams qualify from our group?
Yeah

Two best losers plus the 6 normal qualified teams.

Group A teams finished worse so that left the two slots to B and C. Meaning even if we lost, we would have qualified as best losers, had South not won

Okobi was average at best. She did not produce any visible errors or mistakes. However there was almost no creative passes from a player who was once known for that. All short and back passes. Reluctant to impact the game.

Macleans. I don't want to blame her too much. She wasn't impressive but was really starved by both Monday gift and Ikechukwu who were more interested in dribbling and making clueless attempts.
The selfishness of Uchenna cos of Hattrick played out as well. Las las, Ajibade wey dey play for the team go dey MVP table. Others should keep on with the selfishness.

Let's be honest with ourselves though. This team is not impressive. The attack going to the world cup should be:

Rasheedat Ajibade
Ifeoma Onumonu
Gift Monday

Francisca Ordega

Midfield:

Ucheibe
Ayinde
Otu
Effih
You forgot Rosa o. Lol

The two strikers of South Africa are injured. I hope that doesn't affect them. Beauty of that side is anyone can be in a scoring position but they are slack in the box,But good in buildup.
