Aribo work rate made the difference,on and off ball.
Those GB were mostly overriding the middle if not for Ndidi.

Oga Dave is there any similarity between Nwakili and Etebo? but with Mikel you see little....truly the two are not on the same page and only a myopic person will compare the duo....my point is simple I saw those long passes as Mikel style of playing.

Mikel Obi is my all time number one love super eagles player.
Whenever i mention Etebo, just know I'm referring to his reliability. I hope its clear now. For the other compare, i no gree. But yeah, he had a better game than his previous. But i still missed Aribo.

I watched all the corner kicks and set piece from Nwakali. They were all right on point. How did we not bury even onehuh
We may need employ a setpiece specialist before Qatar. I'm still hammering this aspect since forever of 2013. We still haven't gotten this in the bag. Some team are equal in play but setpiece conversion is the difference and no one would remember who had the better striker or middle if it wins the game for a team.

Etebo would have turned to Kante under his set up.. That man has 20 lungs grin ..
His return is going to cause headache for Eguavoen and lots of people on this thread. Especially if his form skyrockets, eclipse his 2019 form.

Lovely display from the defence. They've been reliable so far.

6goals scored

1 conceeded, albeit a penalty.

Any other attacking team should be wary.

Well, every player deserves a chance to prove themselves and It is now left to them to grab it

Besides, we need to assess him now as the tournament progresses to ascertain what he can bring to the team if brought in to help the team.

Eguavoen dey frown like Mourinho asif no be hin fault. Even a false 9 would've been better. Yeye risk there. Iwobi should be shifted to centre abeg. His crosses are way accurate if not for that sadiq.
