Just rewatched the Gambia vs Tunisia highlights. I noticed nothing much from both sides for large parts of the game. Plus the Tunisian were looking for cheap pk. However their defenders lose concentration alot and that's how the goal came from a cross. If they can be dragged away at ck, the overlapping RB can score. They are poor at Setpieces against them. Nacho can bury one if the chance present itself. We need our first pk in this tournament against them sincerely. No visible strength asides R2-ing the ball well. Who sabi fly pass should be in goal. We will easily dominate that Midfield whether any of Iwobi/Nwakali/Aribo starts. Their 433 should be easily broken. |

Might just need speed in Counterattack to bury these Tunisians. They aren't fast. Also reckless at the back. They may try to be funny and injure Simon. Ejuke may start on the other flank and both Aina and Zaidu back in XI |

Who is this hyping Salisu salisu asif na VVD or Ramos? Werin na? Has any of the Ghanaian forwards jam Calvin Bassey before? They should be afraid of that solid rock defender if he ever gets to play the WCQ. Oya tok now. |

Another Arsene Wenger has done it again. Ramsey sold to Juve to get 400/week so that they won't be able to afford Vlahovic, and hence he comes to Arsenal while Ramsey becomes available to return to the Emirates. |

South Africans will be heavily supporting the Super Eagles when we play Ghana. Ghana dunno what's up yet. Our forwards alone. Plus the Ndidi-Partey clash will go on to be a big talk going forward even if we know who has upper hand. |

Joebie: Our time to avenge that famous 4-1 loss in London. That's all i thought immediately i saw the draw. If we just apply the Comoros tactics alone for Accra, e don finish. If Dennis kon be the 9 again........ Not to talk of if its now Victor Osimhen... Their defence cannot take it. If Chuks form is now back by then, they'll dance reggae. Congo would have been a tougher opponent. They have a chance to me. |

Oasis001:

Some Monikers are damn funny on this Thread. We top our Group with 9pts, conceded just a Goal (pk), yet we shouldn't be optimistic or confident of destroying Tunisia that couldn't make it to the next stage honorably, rather pitifully tagged along.
If our Players are having this kinda defeatism Mentality, we wouldn't have made to the next Round like Ghana. Defeatist should calm down for Triumphalist. We've got to keep the Confidence as Fans, coz it has become a Catalyst, a big Push, great Motivator for the Boys and their Handlers.
Tunisia should be ready to be barbecued. Our Eagles ain't carthage but super. Even if Super Eagles surpass Algeria unbeaten record, and become Real Madrid of Africa, many will still carry the flag and banner of pessimism proudly. The disappointment in the past is now a strong mathematical constant whenever the team is involved. Its even across all sports. Tunisia will be quaking cos they don't even have their team A right now. I dunno how they'll do it. But Eguavoen has never really failed vs North African teams as far as i remember. |

safarigirl: Nigerian men on Twitter are a funny bunch of people I swear
I don laugh die this night.
Meanwhile, you people are really a force on Paraga's Twitter. Once Nigerians see one of us that deserves a Twitter Verification, if you see the clamour for verification badge. Once the person posts, Nigerians will just start tagging the verification handle and threatening them to verify the person. They did it with Osimhen and he was verified, then, Eguaveon, he was verified in days, they also did it for Maduka, he is now verified.
I know we sometimes deny the power our population has, but the power our online presence has is mad. There is no other African country that can make these social media sites Verify their players like Nigerians can.
Nah, our presence is truly overwhelming. Correct Power of Naija Twitter are happy to have nigerians back on. The difference is there. Hype Hq of the world goes to Nigeria. Example is this Enisa babe that just tagged along with endsars and nigerians made her music career take an upward turn in all numbers. She can't forget cos its overwhelming. Eguavoen should just keep posting if he has no job, it will still fetch him money. Only wished we could translate it to politics, but na there the Cliff show face. |
