Its bad for Giroud to have such creators around him and Auba is not given half that chance. Not fair. Those numbers says it all. Ozil is needed.

Willian need come on as sub for our next 4games abeg. Saka is getting bolder. Thats just a big hope in the attack.

Modified- I still dey FOH for this Yekini record, 37 goals in 58 matches, omo, that's like he scores in most matches... Damn what a striker the OG's had in that era... Dependable striker... Na him I pray make osihmen be for our era...
Even if they can't break it, they should surpass the 2nd highest..... Odegbami with 23goals!!! Imagine!!?

as it is we have to wait for 4 more years before we can see our next U-23 in action. Imagine playing CCL games on Sat and Sunday night televised live with lots of fans brilliant football analyst and plenty hypes, every performing players will get easy invites to the NT, transfers to the top leagues in Europe and with time teams from west Africa will catch up with their north African counterpart
That thing is boring... the wait. maybe infuse u20in such a way that they play it and then 3yrs later rep at Olympics but still maintain 2yrs.

Tv issues is another bottleneck. Twil be cool to watch CCL games with English commentaries.

We don't need the nations league. CAF should have a regular tournament for U-23 players, in Europe the youth teams play every FIFA window that's what CAF should copy. They should also make the CAF champions league more exciting and glamorous, at its present state it's very boring and quite predictable
Youre right!! The U23 need all rounda games.

I can't wait to see a great change to the CCL's Overall identity. Its too boring.

All they said is that alampasu should have gotten some minutes and that’s all ,I didn’t remember any of the people that said that calling maduka a bad Gk

Just their sincere opinion
My own take is after 2 full games, i can conclude about hik in the GWG. Till then. Even Agbim wasn't written off so fast and so bad as many are doing for Dele. Agbim got games before he was off. Till then

Thomas is Welcome.

For those saying He should be paired along side Elneny, hope you know Elneny is a back passer more than a forward passer. And he doesn't know how to locate Ceb better than the very Xhaka that's underperformning too. Just that he's the more composed of the two. Using the WBs formations with such midfield at disposal would be a very very sweet idea. Auba please o.

I believe this current guys would try to break and set new records, expecially that Yekini own... Osihmen is just 21, he's got 8 caps and 4 goals for the eagles... He's such a goal threat that if eagles play 10 matches I expect him to contribute 4-6....

On Neymar, I know many people particularly do not like him, his antics, his style(of recent tho, there's a lot of maturity) But he is the most gifted footballer I have seen hands down... Bar the 2 "Goats" nobody comes even close... He creates and he takes chances... I'm his Biggest Fan....
Yeah. Victor should break that Record easily. Nacho follow up close too.

Thats if both score 3/year for the next decade. That should do!!

Africans should be as busy as the Europeans during the breaks as well. Na only qualifiers and friendlies dey to make Africa something ni. Altho Pa Wenger has said Thr Nation's League is still faceless and confusing, as people can't relate with it, hence the need to lower thr timeframe between fifa Competitions, Africa won't do bad if they got theirs. We'd see many newborn stars in no time and more ratings.

Looking at the shortlist for golden boy and all the European nations that are improving through Nations League, I fear that the gap between Africa and Europe will get worse in the next decade.
Notice they also play more games than African NT and more youngsters also get to see starting shirts more likely.

And Caf is thinking its still ojoro when they outperform us all or leave us behind.

I love Arsene Wenger's Analysis of a Modern World of Football. The way the game is seen must change. Especially the time waiting for WC and stretching of qualifiers with just club football as thr only hindrance to a shorter playing time for that.

If Caf get sense, they should keep wallowing in Foolishness. Africa should wake up. That Golden boy list should be having at least 5African Youngsters. Hype or not, on it.

I feel one of the best way is to give the cadet boys a spot to shine earlier on the NT too, since club rarely provides that as it does for the Europeans.

14 more goal and he will become Brazils all time, disposing Pele.... Neymar jnr 10.... Best player of the decade after Ronaldo nd Messi...

And he's 28...
At least since SE cannot make 18yo to start in GWG, they can do with 20yo upwards. So by end of a decade, such numbers are seen. 37goals don tey too much.

Jst WC and UCL remain for him. He'd have done so if he was at Madrid sha. Best of luck to him.

The problem is they were active in a period when our football league was good and so the need Nigeria had for them was not much.
I mean fashanu was not good enough for our national teams then. Although they could have collected more caps for Nigeria but men our local talents may put them on the bench.

If it was now with the decay in our football they will walk straight into the first team

Make we talk true... our coaching crew no try at all. Three goalkeepers were invited for two FRIENDLY matches, it doesn't make sense to just play only one throughout when the so called friendlies is to assess players. Our in-house journalist here was claiming they are helping Okoye to build confidence. Is he the only keeper that needs to build confidence ni? This is a case of bias but but Some people refused to see this.
Some of you questioning Alampasu'call up should remember that he,Okoye was not particularly doing well in the German 4th tier. In fact, some people here said he got the call up because he usually comment and like NFF posts.
A player can struggle in their early career but that doesn't mean they are bad. Make una free Dele abeg. What the coach did is absolutely bad.
Now the question is ability wise, is Okoye better than Dele?
Its kinda obvious that selections under Rohr isn't all about Form to me. It goes both ways. But until Dele is in between the sticks like Maduka was, I'd not join anyone to write him off. That's just it.

Maybe if CAF had something like Nations League, this kine talk of good or no good go don stop. Till then.

Before we go into the technical ability, tactical intelligence and awareness, game management the first basic UNCOMPROMISING QUALITY is PACE.

In this regard Awaziem has zero pace, that alone TOTALLY DISQUALIFIES him for any Wing back or right back position.

He is absolutely not better than Aina.

A player who played a a very average season for Nantes in the French league, he couldn't generate any interest from any club, that in itself tells a story of mediocrity.

To confirm that mediocrity he ends up oh yes in the retirement league Turkey. After another anonymous season he then goes to the bargain basement of La Liga, Leganes ( most expensive player Omeruo) . He gets relegated.

His parent club said No no, not good enough and he end up in struggling Boavista.

Thats not progression but regression.

He is nowhere as good as Ebuehi or Aina.

Among the CB's he is simply just making up the numbers.
Agreed!! Very true. No pace!! He was calmer tho. We need pace down that wing.

I think our performance today was better than on Friday....
Nevertheless,I have a few points to make

1) Ajayi should not play in midfield again..aside good aerial controls, and some good tackles,be brings nothing more else to the midfield..his passing and ball control are poor...abeg,he should continue at CB
2) Chukwueze is off form, Simon has improved really well..
3) Musa has no business starting games for the SE for now... Baba has lost it...he should be coming in from the bench if at all he must play
4) Iheanacho despite his penalty miss and occasionally fouls and poor control still remains the best backup for Osimhen..his goalscoring abilities are definitely still there. Deseers tried for the few minutes he got.

And finally,Rohr is still clueless as always... Why didn't Aina play? What's the pont of having 2 natural RBs and u go ahead and play makeshift RBshuh, I mean what's the point at all?? You have Agu that can play DM,but u used Ajayi as makeshift.. I'm sorry to say the friendlies have been a waste of time...I can't see anything positive to take away from it,except maybe Okoye....

I hope the list of November should be based on club form and not the other way around..we don't want match rusty players in the team...
Well said.

Forgiveness say friendlies are for experimenting, yet our Papi invite 3goalies, made them train hard for a week, only to end uo using 1for both matches. Experiment indeed!!

Baba is confused.
