Bolowolowo: Agreed, but not making quarters in world cup is paining me. We need to go all in for the next mundial. We are on the cusp of a talent boom, so let's make the most of this fruitful period. Year that WC jinx needs be broken. And we don't need technical boys, but emboldened boys....the mould of the russian team +some tenacity from our noisy neighbours from the gold coast. Its annoying that all the big difference of our WC fate are within the timeframe of 20mins less. Like that Argentina match.... Same for the Afcon match too. We need to do something about that. Its annoying.... 6 mins to go, goal 10mins to go, pk against us, 15mins to qualifying, 3goals, etc. Do we need a Defender in John Terry character A midfielder of Kroos/Bastian mix An attacker like Auba that knows just when to fall back and defend And some sane human beings in that glass house. We don't wana hear all these crappy gist of bonuses, allowances or shingbain related to cash..... Only then can we........ |

Bolowolowo: Why combine mens and women's comps? 19 Men's trophies 14 Women trophies Nigeria still leads!!!! Nigeria is Africa's most successful team Highest priced on individual footballers total gross. Best youngsters ever Best female team for next 50yrs, lol We are too used to success we aren't hyping ourselves the way we should. Still yet, we still lagging behind. The league needs restructuring. |

komekn: Dominic is possibly the fastest defender in the Championship, he is Athletic strong and quick.
However, technicality is not his strong point.
He was on the up with his team winning all kinds of accolades. Indeed Rohr was seriously looking at him irrespective of the previous politics. His team has lost form so badly it's shocking from contending for top position they have fallen near to the point of possible flirting with relegation.
If your team is failing you loose traction in your personal rating.
Indeed this is something that's going to really help the SE now, the presence of YOBO. He will not compromise on quality and will not be bullied or induced into accepting certain players by NFF officials.
Until l see them both playing good technical composed football it's difficult to ascertain thier true quality.
Nonetheless, as a defender you still need to have some good degree of physicality and athleticism.
We saw how Omeruo was bullied by the Cameroon players in the last Afcon. Kommmeeeekn Stop doing like you dunno how this Glass House works The football cabal got him that post. Stop doing like he has more shoulder than even the late Stephen Keshi who we all know still played to the gallery. Yobo isnt gonna be the 1st, neither the last...... We know that it wasnt on merit. You know. What's his rep before he got the job? Its a Nigerian thing..... If we make a list of those previously appoi ted by NFF and have merit, we know its gonna be hard to see 3/10. Not to talk of those that are wayyyyyy ahead of him in both qualifications and pecking order.... |

Danielnino00: There's a chance that the pandemic may last till the end of the year...will Cameroon or Nigeria or any African country be financially stable enough to host the tournament? I don't think so.. a lot of funds are being channelled toward fighting the pandemic...I don't think Cameroon have even finished building the stadiums they intend to use for the tournament..
Again, the European football season will be in full swing cus there won't be much break like before since the leagues will want to finish before June next year...
Moving the tournament to June itself won't make sense given the weather factor and the fact that the Olympics, euro and Copa America and going to take place around that time too..
It may just be better for everybody if the tournament is scrapped and we move to 2023... Well financially Nigeria still has a chance when compared with other Francophone countries. But as you said, they may have to wait till 2023. Which i doubt they'll sit and allow. Lets be prepared to get APOTY in a new way then. |

I just watched a clip of Obagoal... 49goals for Internazionale, 30 with with his left and 19 with his right foot.
So far, he's been unreplaceable.
His pace alone, and that ever efficient technical skill at beating offside traps, evident in his tracks to scoring most of his goals, is still hard to find for the SE.
His alertness in the box.... Then he was gyming up again..... Obagoal!!!
Yeah i know the GWG part too. |

Subzero047: Can you name the defenders?
Besides everybody knows Tomori's weakness which is that he doesn't have the frame for a Center back. If Saka becomes Arsenal's first choice LB next season, forget it Everyone at Arsenal knows he's on a makeshift spree. He didn't want to but he lived game time and freedom. It has helped his career and value. But as a natural, he aint it. The overlapping wont let him be a defender. |
