Hehe hehe, I don cry tired, na to laugh anyhow dey right now.

Who is a striker? Definition please.

When last did Gee-rue use his legs to strike or do good?

All his tacts as a striker to to back a defender and await an aerial ball, then his head. He can't, and I repeat, I've never seen him use those two pair of legs in a game. Who saw the frustration on Alexis's face?

Why can Wenger just use Alexis as CF or instead put Peter as a starter an diet Gee- rude come in as a late sub.

The aerial balls to Giroud didn't work, cos the plan seems like Giroud brings down aerial ball and then connects with Sanchez. Well I'm happy there is no connection btw them. It can't happen and it won't ever. I prefer a Peter that uses his legs and presses when without the ball. Ground is a work version of Aguero; all he does is stroll round the opponents defence and run like his legs were heavy with bowling balls.

If I'm a defender, my confidence would rise after 10 mins with that display from Giroud. I'd think " oh, he can even kick a fly to change position. Lemme flex small"

Happy that Le prof has begun to open one of his two closed eyes and push Iwobi to the num 10 roll. Anyone that watched the Bournemouth game would see that he began to get active expressing when that Ramsey that loves to be indecisive had to go deep to take Coquelin's role.

The other eye of Wenger would open if he sees that he is killing Sanchez's game by placing leg-less Giroud on the pitch as well. I've never see a striker that is as useless as him.

Well Make our Iwobi continue to improve..... that's my concern for now.....

Finally Arsenal does a "Liverpool comeback" thanks to Chamberlain.....

Make Giroud dey feel himself....

Isaac Success even at his current state is a kind of player that when he gets hold of the ball you expect something to happen.

Brown Ideye is a kind of player you'll like ....hennnn? shocked so Ideye is playing in this game? grin

Seriously speaking Isaac Success is about the most unfortunate of this new generation.
You saw how he emerged highest goal scorer at CAF U17 only for him to be hit by injury in the second game of the U17 WC.

During the U20 WC I dnt know how coach Manu would prefer Awoniyi over Success even though Success scored our first goal in the competition. He came in as a sub against North Korea and scored meanwhile Awoniyi that was the favored striker had not seen the back of the net.

God should just deliver him from his injury problems.

Isaac Success has more to offer than Brown Ideye. We don see Ideye finish
I pray he gets up fast, and that Musa at Lester too.... For now, Ideye is a Bishop on our chess board. Isaac is still a a pawn... Anichebe is working hard to be a queen, rook.... grin

I'd stick with Ideye that has a we of keeping ours spectator blood pressure down a lil than a success that hasn't gotten a chance to prove himself in English top flight.

Kolarov, Clichy, Sagna, Kompany, Zabaleta, Yaya Toure and more are over thirty. So the team might have big rep but they are not top quality for the intense system we play. We need younger players to boost the squad. They will also need time to blend in and grow.

Unlike the popular sports media, I know Guardiola is under tough conditions.

As I said before, Klopp is an Amazing manager. Liked him as a neutral when he worked with Dortmund with Lewandowski, Kagawa, Sahin, Bender, Gotze etc.

He has a good team at Liverpool and he is doing a fine job. I am interested to see the talents who will join City and the ones promoted from the academy.
.
Let's start from Aguero.... he has done good 2016.

But the changes are truly affecting him both ways. Not bad though.

But why don't he track back and get balls man? Why?

It is not fell for. It I a fact. They discussed and Xabi Alonso's advice helped and worked. Even the goal Liverpool scored highlighted it. Our aerial presence is week and Aerial presence is key to the EPL.

The reputation is Guardiola being good at his job. We are one of the best passing teams in the EPL. That highlights his impact. I see the team getting better.

Klopp is a brilliant coach and I told many who care to listen that Liverpool have a better team than us. It is a more balanced team. Guardiola will still bring in more young players. Maybe a few experienced hitmen. However, the results will not swing in our favor overnight.

It is a long-term project.
Glad you just admitted what I wanted you to.... i.e Guardi is building despite the worth of his starting eleven.

Klopp The Kop on the other hand, is using just exactly what he has at hand. Good players, but who sabi dem like that? grin

It was a balanced game. Both teams played well and dominated at different times of the game. I wonder what is fear and Rep. Unless people who do not understand what is going on at City, this is a rebuilding phase. So far, he has done well. We finished fourth last season and qualified for the Champions League through the playoffs.

We are buying young players and working with the academy to mould the team. It takes time to achieve it. It is not magic. What matters is that we are playing well.
oh cmon,

Team moulding I agree, but your guns were not even firing and what a way to tell that Klopp's tactic of keeping those two silent for most part of the game wasn't successful.

We all know Pep's reputation preceeds him always, so it's a ticking time bomb.

Whatever he does I wonder why he's continue to give Nolito chances and no one shouts at him, yet we can point fast at Nacho....

Happy New Year all!

My first comment for 2017: Alex Iwobi is a "number 10" and not a winger!

I have long waited for this day that Ozil would miss out and allow Iwobi play his natural position. The boy na real baller. Plus even scoring.
I quite agree with you, but as usual, I dunno why he and Ozil just go into thin air when we approach the 60th min mark. But sure you're right. But Prof isn't watching despite the sport footwear he wore tonight

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW With Leicester City Bound Ndidi On Preferred Role, Iheanacho, Career Rise & Inspirations

https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/image-127-1024x682.jpg
Owngoalnigeria.com Daniel Martins caught up with Leicester City January signing Wilfred Ndidi shortly after his last game for Belgian side Genk as Gent as his £15m move draws near.

Ndidi spoke on a variety of issue ranging from his move to Belgium, his preferred role and his career rise from Nath Boys to Leicester City in 18 months, he also spoke on international teammate Kelechi Iheanacho. Enjoy.

Preferred Role:
Ndidi – I don’t think I have any for now, I have played in lot of roles and have always given my best for the team. I started off as a striker in my early days but I moved to a midfield role later in my career. I got converted to a central defender at the camp of the Nigeria U-17 team and have also played as a full back severally.

To be honest I love playing in the midfield but am ready to play anywhere for my team, the goal is usually to give my best for my team regardless of where am deployed.

Career Rise:
Ndidi- I strongly credit God almighty for my career progression considering where I was 18 months ago and where I am now. My coaches in all level have been wonderful as well, my key still remains playing to the instruction of the coach for the benefit of my team, and that has helped me a lot in my career.

Kelechi Iheanacho :
He opened the door for most of us to be noticed, he was my teammate at U-17 and 20 level and now in the Super Eagles. His progression at Manchester City inspired most of us to believe we can also survive in England but we are too different players in terms of role on the pitch and more.

Inspiration:
The holy bible is my favourite book, it inspires me a lot, before games and even after games I go through it. It has worked for me in more ways than one, also I love listening to music before games, it calms me for the task ahead.
