TheGoodJoe:
Iheanacho did not get services. Not lack of confidence. I wonder how something as simple as that is difficult to see. We are not creating scoring chances. Teams play a cagey system when they play us. We need to sort it out by more clever build-up plays through the wings.

That is not waning in confidence.
Chai Joe just pause for once now grin

You say you want at least a high level of analytic accuracy on sport issues on here, but you actually fall when it comes to reading btw the lines. You sound like you can do a better job than Pep and it's shocking that you've not taken a coaching badge to start.

No matter what your tactics is, over and over again, there will always, always be some odd tactics that would kill it and stop it. If wing plays were the answers, you think Pep wouldn't have seen it? The same pep you defend in name is the same Pep you use style to criticise by all these constant analysis of How City supposed to play.

The Aguero you see today you keep defending as if he is some kind of Costa. Lemme just stop

Leave this method actually. It does no good.

na you I don dey wait since.

Cagey game, because Pep no sabi work abi?

You know how many games Kelechi has played this season? I expected a brace at least once since how many months now, yet even one goal is few and far between.

If you think my Kelechi comment was based on this one game, you're very wrong.

For once, just veto on this your need to justify everything Pep and City do. It's okay as a fan, to say "Today, we f'ucked up", even City fans from Manchester City themselves habe those days.

One day, just give yourself a break, this job you're doing is a thankless job. Focus your energy on teams like Rangers, Warri Wolves and co if you must be this passionate, NPFL needs you.

Iheanacho once again causes the third goal with a poor passing.

Men and brethren, that is it. Pepe has succeeded in dipping our boy's confidence.
lol, tell goodjoe o.

Handwriting on the wall na permanent marker, there's nothing like it will gradually become bold for all to see.

Simply put, The confidence of the MVP of a youth tournament is now waned right under a supposed worl best coach. Let pep learn.

And like I said earlier, when you see Lagos, the welcome signboard says "This is Lagos" and not "welcome to lagos"

What did Wenger say in the room that made these Guys supercharged?? They sure werent playing like first Half..

Honestly; Arsenal is demolishing this guys.

Iwobi's been blazing since

Finally; Perez and Welbeck in.
see make we face reality on ground.. Wenger doesn't know what he is doing. He's been doing the same old crap for a decade, and we know change is constant.

Giroud has scored in all the matches he started and if this was to spite Alexis, it worked, but I don't like the way he is doing it.

In bigger matches where we need to bury the game early, I'll prefer. Alexis as striker to get a goal and allow Giroud to come on for his so called late goal stuff. Why? Predictability! That's why I want wel beck back so Giroud and not Sanchez, will be subbed toward end of match.

Alexis was paint today, cos in the 11 mins he played as CF, he did well and we saw the old Alexis.

CAF Presidency: Madagascar FA boss challenges Hayatou

https://africanfootball.com/bp_images/2017/01/Issa_Hayatou_CAF_President_580x473.jpg
Issa Hayatou - CAF boss since 1988
by Samm Audu

CAF have confirmed Madagascar FA president Ahmad Ahmad will be the only candidate to challenge incumbent Issa Hayatou for the CAF presidency on March 16 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The contest will be for the 2017-2021 tenure.
CAF have ruled that henceforth the maximum tenure is three terms of four years each for the President.

The 70-year-old Hayatou from Cameroon has been CAF President since 1988. He was acting FIFA President in 2016 when Sepp Blatter was banned.

In 2015, CAF decided that officials could serve beyond the age of 70, which has now paved the way for Hayatou to contest again.

CAF executive committee member Ahmad is in his third period as Madagascar FA boss.
He will not contest to retain his Southern Zone seat on the CAF excos.

In other elections in March, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) president Amaju Pinnick will battle incumbent Moucharafou Anjorin of Benin Republic in West Zone B.

Pinnick’s nomination has been shrouded in controversy after members of his executive committee alleged he did not carry them along before this decision was taken.

The Nigerian government also said they will set up a committee to recommend “a suitable candidate” to represent the country.

Ghana’s Kwesi Nyantakyi will face-off with Kalusha Bwalya of Zambia and Leodegar Tenga from Zambia in the Anglophone group for a place on the FIFA Council.

Recently, I read a report of a Ghanian Player signed by Andrelecht from Asante Kotoko. No trial!!

The best players in Nigerian's premier league are either signed by North African clubs or taken on trial to obscure leagues. It appears that there is a major problem with our league. I would argue that the best Nigerian players are not there. Ifeanyi Mathew was the best midfielder in the Nigerian league but was subjected to trials in Lillestorm, Obaje is one of the highest scorers but had to go on trial with Spartak Moscow.

When we had Manu's under 20 side play with our best league teams, it exposed the quality of our league. Kids were running rings around experienced professionals.
Emphasising on making the average age of our league Footballers to be so young, I agree. That way the process of 'from Street to team' would be so fast that before you know it, money will spin. But as they say, older age doesn't mean more wisdom. Myopic stakeholders run our football.

Mignolet’s Passing: Poor Ability Or Lack Of Options?

Southampton were victorious over Liverpool on Saturday for a variety of reasons; being clinical in the box and competitive all over the pitch being two very important ones.

But they also pressed from the front to limit the Reds’ passing options, knowing full well that Mignolet is not particularly comfortable on the ball, and sure enough, the big Belgian gave possession over to them twenty-one times over the course of the match.
