Lalasticlala, what do you think? |

Yesterday I saw this Facebook post from CNN about a certain town in Japan where "families receive 100,000 yen ($879) for their first child, 150,000 yen ($1,335) for their second and as much as 400,000 yen ($3,518) for the fifth child born to the same family" https://edition.cnn.com/2018/12/27/health/japan-fertility-birth-rate-children-intl/index.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=fbCNNi&utm_content=2019-01-06T03%3A31%3A49&utm_term=link I think the only set of people enjoying our democracy is our politicians and their family members whom they have positioned in juicy positions here and there. In most countries who value their citizens, this is how government take care of their citizens. |

Wow! This guy really means business. Fellow Nigerians, let's join hands together to support Sowore, because he's clearly going to pull surprises and may win this election laslas. Nothing is impossible fah. tossie101:First mention. Many more expected. Lol. Some people can't just recognise sarcasm. ![]() I heard EU and CIA are secretly backing him. ![]() |
May God deliver all us from all the false prophets here in Nairaland, in the persons of alBaghdadi, MrPresident1, etc whose mission is to lead people astray like they've been led astray. Amen. ![]() |
Lol. Buhari doesn't even know that he's indirectly supporting another party's candidate by raising the man's hand up? ![]() |
Silly comments. Can you imagine Nigerians telling her to die, because they already thought she was dead. Some people can say anything just for the sake of likes and attention. Both the Wendy of a girl and her Instagram fans need to have their brains checked. |
They've finally wiped away shame from his face. |
SalamRushdie:So you now agree there are those who should be released because they were forced into it? Good. |
SalamRushdie:Stop rehashing this silly line of "Buhari has released boko haram members". There are BH members who were northern Christians (and some Muslims) but were kidnapped and forced to fight for the devil. Should those ones then not be released after undergoing reform? |
It can't be 2014, because Jonathan listens to people. In fact, his downfall was as a result of over listening to people and not having a mind to say "no", which recked his govt in the end. Buhari doesn't listen to people at all, just like Trump. If not, he'll have corrected the anomalous, skewed manner of appointments in the security by bringing in southerners. If not, he will have started to visit crisis states and displaying empathy, like a true leader does. Shawnnn01:Shut up Mr man. I'm neither Igbo nor Yoruba nor Hausa. Are those the only three tribes we have here in Nigeria? olassy239:GEJ allowed himself to be controlled because of too much listening to every Dick, Tom and Harry, but for Buhari he doesn't and is totally not in control of his govt. He doesn't read news, so he doesn't know what's happening, aside what Garba or Femi tells him. |
Their refusal to participate in will have sent a strong response to the FG that ASUU is a serious entity, but see their silly capitulation and excuse. There's no difference between the presidency and INEC, so why should ASUU show any sympathy when Buhari is not ready to show any? |
Screenshot A former president (1991) called him out and he had the guts to ask him if he and him had the same interest. In other words, his own interests is to endorse politicians and promise them millions of votes.
|
I bet you that if this man had said this silly thing in a country like South Africa, he would have become a former president by now. Youth activism (both in education and politics) in that country is something else. His handle: https://mobile.twitter.com/danielsonakpan |
NANS' President stirred the hornet's nest about two days ago when he went to Aso Rock and promised the president that the leadership of NANS were mobilising to contribute 20 million votes for Buhari. ![]() This is coming on the heels of nearly 2 months strike that has kept hundreds of thousands of Nigerian student at home. I stumbled across his Twitter handle this morning, and discovered he has had some minor bashings, but I think it's not enough yet.

senatordave1:But the big question is, how can these campaign cars said to be gifts to party leaders and are a source of jubilation, when they're for his sénatorial campaign? Do you have an answer? |
What's really à big surprise for me and other sane Nigerians is that during the military days, these guys were a thorn in their neck, but democracy came and they quickly threw in the towel and joined the politicians in stealing. Maybe their activism in those days were even because the military guys were not ready to bribe them. ![]() Just thinking. And by the way, why should people who finished university 10-15 years ago be the ones representing those who are still in school. Only in Naija. |
Someone rented cars and then plastered his CAMPAIGN photos on them and gave them to his CAMPAIGN drivers to run his CAMPAIGN, and you're telling me there's a jubilation?? ![]() |
Another phantom group created by DSS or the Nigerian Army. ![]() |
Lol. So because of Peter Obi's repeated reference of China's successes to challenge Nigeria to take a cue from them, it has now become a troll line? I know Atiku is corrupt, but so is Putin and so is Trump, and they're using intelligent acumen to move their countries ahead. Atiku-Obi combination is equivalent to Buhari-Osinbajo combination in terms of quality, because both have one good and qualified person each. On a lighter note, how come Nairaland didn't caption this thread as "Drama as Ogunlesi replies Obi's tweet in Chinese language" ? ![]() ![]() |
If true, Tinubu is stretching his luck too far. After humiliating Ambode from contesting, he has continued to threaten him into oblivion. How very unpredictable life is. |
All of the people both those in the military, and the civilians aiding and abetting boko haram by arming them or the military top brass embezzling monies meant for taking care of our soldiers at the frontlines, will soon meet their Waterloo like Alex Badeh met his, in Jesus's Name. Amen! |
Homosexualism (both female and male version) is a moral abomination that ought not to be tolerated. |
ImperialYoruba:Because people close to him are overestimating his popularity and have been telling him that Nigerians now say "Sai Baba" as morning prayers in their various homes. ![]() Overconfidence. |
servercodes001:Forget those hailing stunts. Anyone can arrange a group of people to do that for them. That nobody lined the road at point C to hail them, doesn't mean people didn't hail them at points A and B. |
ImperialYoruba:Jonathan was also incumbent, but an opposition party tsunami swept him out of office. |
destinychildolu:In case you don't know, there are millions of people right now, who haven't made up their mind who to vote for. It's through campaign jingles detailing how they the contestant intends to fulfil their promises - that those people make their choices. |
capitalzero:I do not think it's a waste since the race is clearly between both. You could say the same for Sowore or Moghalu who know they don't stand à chance, but certainly not Buhari or Atiku. |
A good story of grass to grace if no involvement of human ritualistic sacrifices. |
servercodes001:In Nigeria, every single person (or at least 8/10)who attends a campaign rally was bribed to do so. Aside that, neither the campaign at Sokoto nor the one in Kwara recorded low turn-out. |
