Jobs/Vacancies › Re: As The New Super-moderator Of Nairaland by davide470(mod): 3:14pm On Nov 10, 2014 |
Edit that before you see some really 'passionate' Mods. You don't look for a Job by castigating those in the Job. satley: SOME OF THE FACTORS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SLOW GROWTH OF NAIRALAND
The major reasons why nairaland isn't growing fast are as follows
1. The management of Nairaland needs Vision Driven and Passionate moderators. Some moderators lack long-term vision for the Platform and so they've engaged mostly in short term activities on the website.
2. The Nairaland Brand needs Rebranding, it is now seen in most quarters as the "mediocre's paradise". We must rebrand it to be seen as the "Information Hub" of Nigeria
3. Nairaland lacks programmes to engage its users with real life Public Figures(from any field). We can make plans to bring Influential figures to nairaland and Publicise a date where users would login to discuss, ask questions or share views with such Public Figures.
4 Nairaland Needs Non-Partisan Moderators that can effectively transmit information without Bias, Sentiments and fear of acceptance or rejection for doing his job Professionally. |

slimtriggaman: Piper please be explicit, tell us what you know from anysource you might have gathered it from I can see this year's people are very secretive. Anyway, a friend that did this BHE told me this: •2 batches, of max. 21 people per batch have done BHE, so another batch is not feasible at the moment. •They will get feedbacks this week on their success or otherwise as against last years' where verdict was immediate. Speculations•Prices of Oil plummeting and Shale Oil saga would bring about decline in E&P activities and might result in BH taking less people than anticipated. •Forecasts shows that the Diversity Team of BH are looking to incorporate more females this year. Cheers. |

lenitaas: Please kindly shed more light on these science professional courses thank you. HSE, HUET, BOSIET and their likes and/or any IT course like MCSE, MCITP, CCNA..etc. If (s)he is not sciences, then any of the IT courses would do.
Shalom. HUET, HSE are courses in BOSIET. BOSIET is a 3day's course where you would be taught survival skills in case of an Emergency landing, use of EBS, staying alive under water (we stayed 20secs under water with one breath), ring formation et al. Am not into IT, so can't say on that other one. |

bluesaint: Hello Friends, After about 5 years of job hunting without any reasonable employment, I have decided to open a small but well packaged laundry and drycleaning outfit to be run and managed by me. Please I want your contributions on how I can deliver quality service to my would be customers. If you are to patronize me, how would you like to be served? Considering how your clothes are washed, ironed, starched and time delivered. Don't ignore please. Help a brother. Thank you. That's good bro. I love the spirit. My advice to you, Be time conscious especially when starting this business. Timeliness in service is key to a good business. Also, I would like to ask where you will be based as I don't mind being your first customer. |
