Lexusgs430: Which uk bank, allows you buy share/stocks, directly?? REVOLUT.....
Which uk bank allows buy cryptos, directly?? REVOLUT......
Which uk bank allows you buy commodities, directly?? REVOLUT..... If I am doing a transaction with anyone and the person mentions Revolut, that is the end of the deal. Revolut = Opay/Kuda. It is a very useless "UK bank" Because of their crypto wokeness with minimal security checks in place, a lot of people have been scammed. |

Funds you put on the stock market, must be with a long term view....... Even when stocks are under preforming, it's still a floating loss (until you sell a losing position or firm goes belly up)......... I am not totally a fan of this. Long term view is now 7 - 10 years, no longer 3 -5. To invest in the stock market, you need to be an active trader (Buy Low, Sell High - Rinse and Repeat). |

dupyshoo: Why and is it any better here in the Uk? I thought they said life in EU is better than UK.
Also, we are talking about those who have reasons to seek for asylum due to civil unrest in their countries. They can apply for asylum in France. Life in the EU for "EU Nationals" is better than life in the UK for "UK nationals".. that's the complete version of that sentence. A good number of those seeking asylum are rejected in France, hence illegal, and the French don't have the time to deport anyone, they just frustrate you out of their country. |

dupyshoo: So how can we curb those selling COS? Maybe to stop paying them? Also, why are genuine asylum seekers paying albanian gangs thousands of Euros to cross to UK while already in France? I genuinely want to find out cos it does not make sense to me Living in France as an "illegal immigrant" is one of the worst things you can ever imagine. |

slimanyd: This is funny. Should it be that those with provisional would have high chances of accident rather than those with full licence who are thought to be a pro. Or am I missing something ni This is why: A provisional licence enables you to drive everywhere, except on motorways, as long as you're supervised by a suitable person.. . Driving without supervision could also invalidate any insurance and you could end up with extra points on your provisional licence for this, potentially resulting in a driving ban. With a full license, you can do what you want, hence higher premium. |

Please is there any app I can use in calling Nigeria from UK for free ? Or, is there a cheaper way to call Nija from Uk ? I use the Tesco International Calling App (11.5p/mins and unlimited SMS) - so a £5 credit would give you about 45mins call time. WhatsApp is free |

After reading all these water issues, all I can say is Thank you, Scotland! Because the way we use water in my house, you would think we have a dolphin as a pet and a personal borehole at our backyard Went to check my CT bill and saw it's about £150/year for Water which is totally fair to be honest. |

Progressivegee: Hi guys. I recently changed my prepaid gas and electric meter to post paid. EDF said I can choose to pay an estimate of £233 monthly for both gas and electric or they can use my meter readings to charge through direct debit. Abeg which is better? Go for the direct debit option which should be lower and try to reduce your energy consumption within the first 6 months of review... I use Uswitch and Hugo App to monitor our electricity consumption and it has helped track high/low consumption patterns and where to make adjustments. |

Pogracious: Hello Ancestors in the house,l am in the process of rebuilding my credit score.I learnt I can either use credit card or canopy app.Of this two which is more effective pls?
TIA To build your score - apply for a credit card and use wisely - https://americanexpress.com/en-gb/referral/dAVIdEzYpk?XL=MNMNSTo rebuild - then we need more details on what happened to the score .. though a credit card would help, as well as direct debit bills payments, rent reporting (credit ladder) et al.. |

People no dey hear word, the pressure and quest to appear rich is putting people in unnecessary debts in the abroad.. They easily forget that a car is just an item to move u from point A to point B.
A car is not a status symbol abroad
A friend landed Canada some months ago and he was trying to convince me on why buying a car on financing is good. I asked him one simple question, if you were in Nigeria, would u be able to afford this car? He said No, I asked so why do u think u need it now. This was 2 months after he landed in Canada ooo.
Two key words are my mantra: Delayed gratification Budgeting Totally agree with this. |

Happyfellow147: Please is there a way one can check if they overworked 20 hours? I'm really confused about the way different agencies calculate their work week Some say the week starts Sunday Some say it starts Monday How does one keep safe
Also are there people who have overworked 20 hours at least once that have gotten pswp? According to University of Greenwich, " UKVI define a week as a period of 7 days starting with a Monday. During this period, you must not work more than the maximum hours per week allowed by your visa. This weekly limit includes paid work and unpaid work " https://www.gre.ac.uk/visa/during-your-studies/working-in-the-uk-during-your-study |

Pogracious: 1.No 2.Yes but it is not updated on clearscore as it carries my old address 3.Dont have credit card yet There are various factors that can impact your credit score. You know the basics on direct debit, address change and register to vote so I would say try and get your credit report (at a fee, i think) to know exactly why it dropped. -140 is a whole lot and it just might be your letting agent who reported you to the credit agencies based on the contract issues you had with them. I would also advise you to get a credit card, use dutifully and try to rebuild the score at a faster rate. AMEX - https://americanexpress.com/en-gb/referral/dAVIdEzYpk?XL=MNMNS |
