Lero15! Bros, no vex. Jokes are allowed as long as it is in line per se with the Topic of the thread. Also, if you see any abusive words whatsoever, there is a Report Button.. Mods are not Omnipresent na.

As regards your banning by the Bot, abeg, if it happens again. Use the "Mail Mods" button. We hardly ban in this section.

Adonye, benefit me as as how?

Jobs/Vacancies › Jobs/vacancies Section Chatroom by davide470(mod):
I am sure quite a number of you JobLanders will agree with me that it’s about time we had a chat room in this section. The most important reason being the constant derailing of serious threads which may span into pages.

Hence forth, IGNORANCE IS NO EXCUSE: All trivial gists, gossips, discussions, chat-ups, e-toasting etcetera should be done on this thread. Any defaulter to the normal Nairaland rules shall be... well, fill in the Gap. Also, if you have any questions for the Mods, if you want to abuse me / us, please feel free to do it here.

Post whatever you ever wanted or needed to say to your favourite JobLander (whatever that means) outside actual serious Job threads.

You can even hook-up, plan a meeting or a coup, just about anything.

Anyways, enjoy! wink

@MarvellousGod,
it's not your business who I choose to quote, really
Of Course, it's not, but you broke this rule::
Rule 2: Don't abuse, bully, deliberately insult/provoke, fight, or wish harm to any Nairaland member

Are you saying a person of 24 years will have a better career than a 30 year old?? 30 years or thereabout for entry level is fair but 24/25, etc huh huh undecided...Oga, I think employers do that so as to cut down the number of applications they get and not what you stated
Nobody is actually arguing with you. The main point is direct your grievances to the right people: OANDO.

Also, your mannerism of speaking is a bit uncalled for, thereby breaking this rule;
Rule 20: Please cooperate with the moderators, super-moderators, and administrator. Treat them with respect. smiley smiley

Hope you have eaten? Hehe!

I pray you don't jobhunt till you're 'old', cos you will then understand what it feels like.... Like if you're older than 24 or 25, you're incapable..also, those employers don't even consider the educational system of Nigeria... There are other ways to cut down no of candidates asides ridiculous age requirements. ..

Anyone regardless of age should be able to pursue his/her dreams. ......

Those ones with 26 yrs and below requirements are the most ridiculous of all... it's well, we must all get there smiley smiley

PS: I'm way younger than the stipulated age but just had to quote you.... Happy Sunday
Let me quote you too: The bolded refers. Yes, anyone can, but not in this regards. Every firm has a career objectives for her staffs and age is a very important factor. And also, you should be directing your comments at Oando, not dt guy.

MAKEWAY2029:
we were advised on that page to apply as early as possible to get a chance at the nov/dec BHE, so it is likely they would be another batch next year.
It's now once a year, except we see the PIB being passed. First Come, First served. 90% of people that applied are qualified.

80 people did Video Interview, 40 would do BHE, 20 or so would be selected finally. 1st batch resuming Feb./Mar. next year, 2nd batch resuming Aug./Sept. 2015

Caveat; Make of this what you will.

This kind of words used here is very bad and unprofessional. even if you work in Bakr HR, you dont make such comments that you don't think others would be called. its very wrong. even though that how you felt, learn to use encouraging words.

The Registrars would give you a perfect answer
bigtt76:
Thank you for the response.

The shares were owned by my late mother and was administrated (Estate account I guess because it was listed as 'The Est of Name_of_Share_Owner') by my dad who unfortunately is now late too. This was now willed to me. What do you advise I do in this case?

wow I knew of someone that was in the same situation. Not sure he had his way round it sha. The estate account is of what purpose actually?
Estate accounts are opened to administrate the 'estate' of a late person. The Administrators can be 1 or more.

Please could someone advise me on how I can go about reclaiming the share holdings of my late parents and subsequently, the unclaimed dividends?

I have a copy of the Will bequeathing on me the said shares. I sincerely appreciate your assistance
There's something called Share Transmission. It involves going to each registrars of the shares bequeathed with some documents: (Will and the likes) to transmit the shares to you. After then, you can go open an Estate Account with a stockbroking firm and would be advised accordingly.

When you see a trend like this with no fundamentals, technicals, and sentiments driving it. It just signifies one of the ff: Stock Manipulation / Market Makers in Action / The owners buying it up themselves to increase the price.
