haibe:lol...you're the unintelligent one here... It should be, if "god" knows how stealing feels like then "god" isn't pure....for it possesses a carnal mind that knows how it feels to steal... ![]() Logic 101 |
haibe:Nobody implied "god" had to go lust after anyone, the question was can "god" feel that desire and you answered yes....So if "god" can know what "lust" feels like then "god" is an impure hypocritical being by logical deduction, understand? ![]() |
mayorbaron:hahahahahahahahahaahahaha....you are truly a muslim.. The "flatness of the universe" refers to the mass density on the curvature of space.... Atleast you should have googled before replying if you didn't know. |
haibe:Good....so "god" knows how lust feels, therefore "god" has a carnal impure mind... |
Dandeson1:Apparently all what a follower can do is this? ![]() And this is basic logic.... This is the problem of labelling a hypothetical entity with too much axioms(omni-potence,benovelent,etc ) |
haibe:Reply in detail....don't just "lol" and throw an ad hominem... What aspect of my post is "confusing"? |
Can you create a rock you can't lift?... If yes, then "god" isn't all-powerful....If no then "god" isn't omnipotent |
efficiencie:So does "god" experience the "sins of the flesh" like lust? |
Evilbrain1 I think this video is better at presenting the case of the kalam argument for Joshthefirst... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpKGMq077-s |
Joshthefirst if we call an egg a self-contained vessel is that admittance that an egg is an apartment? ![]() |
DProDG:That's the height of his arguments...."oh you said it's a design flaw, therefore you admit it's a design" ![]() |
Joshthefirst:Then wouldn't "god" be an "it" then? |
Joshthefirst:It does, it posits a major design flaw that increases impairment.. |
Joshthefirst of what use are floaters if the eye was "intelligently designed"...when they only cause problems? ![]() |
...
|
Joshthefirst:So does "god" have a gender? |
Joshthefirst:why is "god" a "he" If it's not a component of parts? |
Hiswordxray:we are those intelligent apes, and intelligence isn't all one needs to survive against natural selection, this is evident by all other species that survived extinction without using intelligence as the mechanism e.g the crocodilians |
PastorAIO:Explain. |
Nothing ineligible has been said against homosexuality other than "god said this" or "god did that"...which anyone can say to support anything... What If I say "god" hates safe-sex because it allegedly killed onan for pulling out... Others will say "even animals don't do such" being ignorant of the plethera of animals that even reproduce through homosexual conjugation... Another group would say "This is what x country is trying to import to Nigeria" forgetting that Nigerian cultures had homosexual groups long before colonization... What is it about homosexuality that people suddenly start getting angry about?....It's not some cult that you're invited to, it's not some party that you'd join,so why all this unjustified hate? The fact that I support LGBT doesn't mean I'll suddenly start going after people of the same-sex for sex,I still remain a heterosexual....Because I've always been a heterosexual and it's not a switch that one turns on and off... |
Adam and eve didn't exist dude, that's 100% demonstrable fact. |
frazak:It wasn't scientists that started the trend, it was ancient merchants that used a standard era they were familiar with....other people today still have their own calendars(like the Jews)that are measured differently... And using your type of logic does it mean that celebrating Xmas(a celebratory day that predates christianity) means one believes in santa claus and other pagan myths?... ![]() |
frazak:It's highly unlikely....do you know why? Because evolution is a product of different lines of evidence from different fields all cross-confirming themselves... Biology Geology Bio-chemistry Psychology Phylogenetics Embryological development etc |
frazak:cells you mean(are the basic unit of life) and human beings are products of two cells(sperm cell and egg cell) that become an embryo that grows into a human being.. |
frazak:It's not a 50-50, it's mutations that occur within the gene pool of populations.. Without mutations everything would be unicellular or a colonial mass of clones...Life's replication process is imperfect so each generation brings variation. |
Hiswordxray:They're extinct or have been replaced by daughter species....some like the crocodile still exists but it pales in comparison to it's ancestral distant relative form...sarcosuchus http://dinopedia.wikia.com/wiki/Sarcosuchus
|
frazak:That's a good question, and it's answered by taking a look at the progression of life 3.5 million years ago.. Life at that time was the known time when life started passing on hereditary characteristics with distinct variations...So as far as we know change over time a.k.a evolution began then... |
frazak:smh...ignorance at its peek. Humans didn't evolve from apes(because apes are derived as branches of an ape-like common ancestor that humans share), so all in all humans are apes....or more precisely homonoidea. Tip ; Apes(hominoidea) are a branch of old world tail-less anthropoid catarrhine primates...
