One of Charles Dow theory is at constant play in all FTA threads and do you know what that is ? "HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF" FTA threads and fight be like 5&6 sha @Gasive....sire, might I indulge thee to provide us with thy meme best fitted for this splendid event at the moment... cheers |
Happy birthday to one of the ancient ones here @infofirst. Wishing you good health, blessings, prosperity and more green pips to your accounts..... Oh least I forget, wish you a long (like that of methuselah sir if you don't mind) and happy life.Amen... Cheers |
GabsonFX:I hold the same bias as you sir. I'm also bullish on GJ and went long before the market closed. Anyway let's see how it pans out on Monday. What's your opinion about EJ and UJ too, I'm bullish on both also. |
SystemBet:I am with you on this. I was fund on this act untill mother market gave me a resounding slap and behold, the scales in my eyes fell off. |
Donsheddyguru:100k account would definitely wreck me psychologically... This reminds me of the 2008 stock market crash, how some account managers committed suicide due to the huge loss they had and because of this, anything that has to with account management scares me (richard denis the founder of the turtle traders is one example). I'm only into forex as a means of investment to grow my money over a long term and also as one of my streams of income... |
charly20:I'm bullish on that nucca as I see price heading to 1.60xxx zone on the daily chart. cheers. |
Wahala no dey eva finish. I guess it's inevitable. Oh dear I forgot it's weekend since that being the case then let the bout go on then... (## where my kuli kuli dey sef, make I sidon dey watch fight ##) |
Theyoungmaster:ogaaaa, oil too dey ur head ooo Erm waiteeerrrrr abeg bring chillll kunu for this man here make him calm down. |
C'mon people can't we agree and disagree in peace. I was enjoying the argument as I see valid points from both sides of view (that of gabsonfx & also netvaluefx) but then I don't like the way the arguments is going as it's gradually turning into a duel. anyone who has been long on fta threads knows how it's going to end. So pls let's not draw our swords as I believe that everyone is entitled to his or her opinions about the market. the market is dynamic and there's no one "size fits all" thing so to say in this market. @netvaluefx I can't help but agree with you that forex is a speculative market but at the same time I believe what @gabsonfx says that being consistent matters too. why I had to write this was because I'm going through a rough patch in my trading. I went live with a $10 cents account three months back and I made about 12percent growth in the first month but in last 2mnths I lost all my gains including 20percent of my capital. so had to close all my trades today as I'm going back to the drawing board. And while I was reading through the thread I couldn't help but agree with you both. so cheers to everyone and more pips to your accounts. And shout out to the boss himself @infofirst more grease to your elbow sir.... |

;DI was going through Mayork2 profile on fxblue in the competition and I must say that mayork2 is a sorcerer ...grins... . Honestly the level of DISCIPLINE and the precision of his trades are top notch. I went through his risk profile and I couldn't see any drawdown even the few losses he incurred the other day didn't even reflect in his drawdown. even though I'm highly impressed, I still find it difficult to believe it. I suspect His a robot ** winks** |
Seunisco:I'm a student and a trader too. I'll suggest you focus on the higher timeframes like the daily chart (weekly and monthly also included), doing so will make you focus on your studies without being distracted as you check the charts once daily at the market close. besides higher timeframes are less prone to fake outs and noise compared to lower timeframes. you can't day trade as a student because day trading requires much attention and when you are preoccupied with your academics you tend to miss out on a lot of trades. just my opinion anyway. cheers. |
Mayork2:You can try hotforex although there are a lot of brokers out there which offers various size of account, just do your due diligence.... |
I still don't understand what's going on with this nation because looking at the situation of the south east region reminds me of how bokoharam mutated to what it is today. I can remember how they carried out attacks on various police stations within the city of maiduguri, they bombed the stations and attack various checkpoints. all this started after the first bokoharam crisis in 2009 which lead to the death of mohamed yusuf (a good riddance I must say), from there they evolve and began to attack markets and places of worship by sucide bombing. I was boy then and was still in sec schl. military checkpoints were set up within the city and I remember raising my hands up as a sign of surrender when going through those checkpoints (all civilians passing through were made to raise their hands most especially men). I can't forget the fear and the thumbing of my heart. I couldn't sleep well at nights for fear of attack. there were nights filled with gunshots. looking at the south east region, I must say that history indeed is repeating itself whether we acknowledge it or not. my heart goes out to innocent civilians that will be caught in between the military and ugm cause both sides won't be merciful. as they say, when two elephants fight, it's the grass that suffers. pls let government restructure this country if it's the only solution for peace to reign again for the sake of innocent civilians that have been caught in the middle of this. pls I come in peace and am no tribalist. besides I'm just a boy who knows nothing... |
donMIG:kikiki bros abeg no give am Hbp... but I concur, Unimaid calendar fast ooo... |
All I see here is white Arabs who have stolen a culture that does not be long to them. Ancient Egyptians are known to be blacks that was why they where referred to as burnt skin in some historical writings. It's all there if you read about the history of ancient egypt and also the kingdom of kush or the nubian people. ###I come in peace... |
I think the big banks are at work as usual. Is anyone seeing what I'm seeing on nzdusd & nzdjpy |
LauraClasikVibe:God bless you ma'am for your mature response. In as much everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. I believe we can disagree or argue on an issue without throwing shades at each other. Peace... |
Davigle:Good afternoon house. I want to update the house about my issue earlier in the post above. after chatting fxtm customer care, I was ask to send a mail stating my complaints, which I did. And the levy was cancelled but with a warning that my account will be levied on a monthly basis if my trading account continues to be in active. But on checking fxtm clients agreement section 8.12 this levy only applies when all clients trading account has been in active for six calendar months then a levy of $5 or its equivalent in the account currency will be deducted. I'm perplexed as to why my account was levied in the first place as I opened my trading account on the 8th of Feb and I haven't been trading for up to 2 month. I don't know if I'm missing something cause fxtm acted fishy
|
Thomfrances:Yes it was deducted from my trading account |
haryodehjia:Thank you for your kind response. Pls elders in the house I need your response @infofirst, djwalata, teemy, shevychen2 and others. I don't understand what they mean that if my account continue to show no activity. |
Hello house, I'm in a bit of a dilemma. I got a mail this morning notifying me that my account has been levied a fee of $5 for inactivity. And I don't understand. The broker is fxtm and I opened my account back then in 2017. I have been demo trading for a very long time until recently I summoned the courage to go live by opening a $10 cent account at the start of this month. Although I don't trade frequently as I am a swing trader and I trade the daily time only. I got an email telling me that my account has been levied a fee of $5 for being inactive for the past six months. Pls need help.

My question is why does the Nigeria military disgrace it self time and time again. When I look at some things, I'm always perplexed. Why must they always deny every allegation or tag it fake news. My head still reels about the American hostage that was rescued, this shows that our military are almost completely useless. How can you explain the kidnapping that took place in Niger and was brought into Nigeria? does that mean our border is so porous? don't we have border patrol or customs? how was American soldiers able to enter our airspace without the knowledge of NAF? and they carry out an operation on our soil without our knowledge. If the US govt. hadn't come out to thank our govt. for their help (which is ridiculous to me) would we have known of such operation? I do not mean to derail this thread but I can't help being confused seeing the evils that thrives in this nation daily. by the way I'm just a kid who knows nothing... |

well I can only say about my parent especially my dad, though I'm still in school almost done with it by the way and I had a discussion with my dad sometimes back and he was asking at what age do I want to settled down and I told him that I've never thought of marriage and I don't intend to do so until I've made some achievements in life then MAYBE think of marriage. Well my dad became angry and started talking all sorts, me being the first born and him wanting to see his grandchildren, and he was like when that time comes it's either I find a wife or he would find one for me and I'm like pops chill naw make I finish school, make money before we start any drama lols. funny enough he and my siblings have taken note to monitor me because I don't show interest in girls (not that they are trying push me into a relationship now) though I don't know why but they seem to be bother about my not being interested in girls and I'm not gay (I'm very Homo phobic). |
Good evening. My genre of novels are strictly HIGH fantasy novels mind you I do read other genres but not to often. Some of my favorites are; The hobbits trilogy, lord of the rings trilogy, and the silmarilon by JRR Tolkien All the 7 books of the Harry Potter series by Jk Rowlings The inheritance cycle series (eragon etc) by Christopher paolini The belgariand series Percy Jackson series, The Kane chronicles, and the heroes of Olympus by rick riodan The adventures of Nicholas flamel (series of 4 books) The colour of space SciFi The name of the wind The four musketeer's 20,000 leagues under the sea SciFi The art of war by sun tzu The chronicles of narnia series The darwarth series A wizard of earthsea The sorcerers ring series by Morgan rice I better stop now as it seems I've gone rogue. Those novels made me lazy as I didn't want to be disturbed. Funny enough, I read almost all those books on my tecno phone then which supports java games. There was this app I used albrite reader. I had to download each book in epub format and use the app to read it and my screen was small anyway. I know I'm already sounding like a kid but these books were really amazing. I remembered vividly a scene in the harry Potter series where a love potion was put in a cake ment for harry but Ron took and was acting stupid, I laughed so hard and my mom thought I was going mad but I couldn't explain it to her cause she won't understand. I apologize for the long epistle. And romance is a capital no for me. |
Ikennamurphy:I'm not from borno state but I was born and brought up there. The education here is affordable and there are students from other states including lagos and abuja. Also the security is strict within the campus and at all the entrances. I'm from the southwest and I didn't write this to make fun of them (as I believe in karma) but to share one of my experience here. |
utaraji:Good evening, I'm not in Maiduguri now. I am in Kaduna for my SIWE training. Yes Maiduguri is safe like every other city and there are a lot of military checkups all over the city. It is the local government areas and the villages at the outskirts of the city that is unsafe. There are no attacks on the city only occasionally during festive periods and they are being thwarted by the army other than that life is normal here. As for the best hotels in town I would recommend Dujima hotel, pinnacle hotel or satus hotel. All within the city but quite expensive as the price ranges from 14 to 20k for a night. |
Good evening everyone, I have never experience robbery in my life and I pray never to see one. But I want to share one of my experience of boko attack on my school last year. We were preparing for second semester exams and one evening my friend invited me for a program at his church within campus. As the program was about to end I notice some commotion at the church gate so I was observant. After the service as soon as I went out I heard heavy gunshot (AA) though I wasn't afraid as it isn't the first time I've heard shots like this so I began walking back to my hostel. Students were running helter seketas eh scatter kikiki. So I ask what's going on and I heard that stray bullet hit three students during a fellowship and were rushed to the teaching hospital. Even though I was scared and nervous I remained calm till I got to the hostel and then I changed and pick up my bag and headed for class to study. My dad called me asking about my whereabouts and that of my younger brother. I told him everything was fine that he shouldn't worry and I even lied that we were in the hostel. Obviously rumors was heard in town that boko boys were attack Unimaid. So I stopped by at my friend's shop and waited for him while he was attending to some customers all through there was still heavy shots going on and a military helicopter was patrolling overhead. So while we were chating as if nothing was going on the helicopter opened fire and it was as if it opened fire right at the back of the shop. We just heard screams of RPG and every body in the shop ran out leaving just me and my friend. We managed to close the shop and ran back to the hostel. That night a lot of students ran out of school and slept in town. Funny enough our VC was trying to run away with his family but the soldiers at the school gate stopped him from leaving. That same night as the event was going on governor zulum came in to school to calm down students while the army where handling the situation. We later found out that boko boys attack an idp camp in dalori area very close to school and even tried to reach school before they were stopped. They next day life was back to normal, students flexing up n down as if nothing happened and even making jokes with the event but I thank God for His intervention. And I must say that aside for the politics going on in the army, these guys are really trying putting their lives at risk on a daily basis. |
Good evening, I just found your thread and I must say you're doing a great job. Your post are really educational and I'm glad to have discover this thread. I am an engineering student and I do want to be adept in drafting. More grease to your elbow for this great work sir. |
