any reasons for this? Doesn't make sense to me. Also someone else told me less than 1000 would be employed..close Sha. Any reasons for not inviting high performers.. Really doesn't make sense lol
My guess is the quota system. I am of the opinion that regions and states were used in the invitation for oral interview. I might be very wrong though

Exactly. Most people in NNPC get in without knowing anybody.

I was recruited during the last campaign back in 2012 without knowing anyone. I have many friends and coursemates as well who got in that year without knowing anyone. (I have since left so really don't have any 'insider' news)

Prepare well for the interview and pray for a bit of luck. I remember seeing my interview score, and how it was graded. The interview usually appears easy and most people leave the interview panel feeling good but not everyone will eventually make it. So be prepared.

Over 500 was recruited during the 2012 recruitment. Hopefully, more will be recruited this year. Every state will be represented.

Please help us with information on what to read in preparation for the interview. I have many questions in my head like:
Is it true that most of the questions come from candidate's CV?
What are the other questions that they do ask? .............................

Religion / Re: If You.Are To Spend One Day With One Bible Character, Who Would It Be? by daviscoal(m): 12:12pm On Nov 25, 2018
Enoch
I have questions about the secrets he knew that eventually made him escape death. The bible doesn't tell us much about this man but to me, he is a big deal; being the first man to be so close to God that he didn't experience death

Career / Re: How Do You Handle An Angry Boss Lady? by daviscoal(m): 11:57am On Sep 26, 2018
Angry boss lady = Angry bird lady.

So, just enjoy the game, tidy up at your end (avoid messing up), pray to God for favour, keep working hard and be good & nice to her. She will surely revert to her happy and nice form someday.

So, what next after that? Where is it leading us? How is he going to provide jobs for graduates who are already on the street talkless of the ones he's planning to offer free education?

Is the number of unemployed graduates in Nigeria not enough? Pls let's reason.

Just like Fela has said "na craze man be that o"

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Unemployment And Leadership's Selfishness:Agony Of The Depressed Nigerian Youths by daviscoal(m): 10:12pm On Dec 12, 2015
How are the people going to be employed when our companies and industries are folding up?
How are the people going to be employed when we can't even produce the smallest of things that we make use of everyday?
We have the capital, yet some people are packing the money and keeping it in banks abroad.
We are well populated, yet we prefer to import our food from other countries.
We are blessed with resources, yet we can't turn them into useful products.
We have the labour force but nothing to do with it.
Nigerians prefer imported products to made in 9ja ones; they prefer to be treated in hospitals abroad than to be treated in Nigerian hospitals; they prefer to study abroad than to study in Nigerian universities.

Where do you think we are heading to?
