Baylam:The cable is very close to the shock absorber. You may need to turn your steering to the far right end to see it. I discovered that the cable is at both sides of the front shocks. Hope this is helpful? |
richgang:Richgang, and obviously you re such a rude fella. And I don't think you really deserve to be helped. I have always had this inkling that no kids in this section of nairaland, but having a rethink now. Even if you don't know who Gazzuzz is, you still have no reason to respond like that. You need to tender your expressed apology to him for using that word "mu**". BTW, Gazzuzz is a mech engineer who makes this forum lively for us as car owners. If not for people like him, we would be wasting money on our cars every week. |
dialolodge:I had a power steering issue recently with my Rav 4 2007. But mine is electric anyways. After scanning it, but no immediate cause or solution, I decided to be using it like that. I later found out that my speedometer too stopped working and the brake light was always on. I used it like that for about 2 months. But a week ago, I checked the front tire, passenger side, and and saw that there was a cable detached there. I connected this cable and to my utter surprise the whole problems got resolved when I started the car. PS lights off, speedometer working again, brake light off, check engine light off. I know yours is not electric, but you can check for this cable too. |

lonelydora:Please where do I locate these in a rav4 2006? |
princemillla:Pulley not picking. I just checked the gas again. Alas, I no gas coming out! Guess the guy only released my little Gass inside, as he first released certain gas then in the name of air before Recharging me. And his own gas not properly done. Well I will need to take it to another person be that. Thanks for your suggestions anyways. |
princemillla:Thanks for the prompt response. I just did as you suggested. There is gas. What are you suggesting I change now? The compressor or oil? |
I use a RAV4 07 edition. I recently observed that it at times won't chill as I wanted. So, to correct this I took it to a gas guy to help top the gas. To my utter surprise, the AC has been blowing hot since he topped it. And when I complained to the guy he said he is not really an AC person and suggested I take it for service. Please any good AC guy in the house staying around Ogba, Agege and Ikeja? I don't want to give it to just any half-baked AC technician to avoid more damage. |
Whoever says this is witch hunting needs to check his/her conscience. I thank God for the new dispensation. |
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested a former gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Iyiola Omisore. Omisore was picked up earlier this morning in Abuja and has since been in the custody of the anti-graft agencies facing interrogation for his role in the election funding fraud. EFCC sources told SaharaReporters that the Senator received over N1.3billion from funds pilfered from the office of the National Security Adviser to fund and rig Governor Ayodele Fayose into office in 2014. Iyiola Omosire was People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Osun state guber election in 2014 SOURCE : http://saharareporters.com/2016/07/03/ekitigate-former-senator-iyiola-omisore-arrested-efcc-over-n13billion-ekiti-election-loot Cc: Seun, and Lalasticlala

Rocking mine with its unique features like wireless charging, fast charging, monthly Ota and lots of custom roms from developers. Never forget that it is also a 4gb RAM with 32gb ROM! It appears mods too get paid to put some topics relating to this C9 on front page these days. |

philclem:Once again, thanks to you all for rejoicing with me. There are so many questions asked that I dont even know where to start. Well, for those asking for location, it is in Lagos, around Iju-Ishaga, Agege axis. I cant reveal more than that for security reason. As regards the cost of building, I will say something around 11million. This is so owing to the quality of the materials used for the house, most especially the interior decor. I could have spent something less, like 9million. Each room is ensuite with modern day facilities. I used around 150 bags of cement alone to do plastering. Dont ask me if artisans did not cheat me.I was my own engineer. I was always on the ground to monitor everything happening on my site. You can use less depending on how solid you want your wall to be.I need to add that there are 2 gates in the house. Both cost around 200k For those who think that I have the money, so no need to say that I was pushed to do this. Well, lemme tell you that when the work began, I had around 3million naira. And that was meant to buy a half plot of land at Obawole, Fagba. The plan then was to just buy the land and see what could come up for the development. But the land I wanted to buy was sold to someone else . I never knew the Lord already had a better place for us that wont cost that much. I got the land, about a plot, for less than 2 million. This project is a testimony in many ways. Shortly after getting the land, my mind was always there. And the fear that Omo oniles could take over if not developed made me begin the work. It wasnt really easy. Omo oniles were on my neck 24/7. But I was told then that house builds itself. Beyond my imagination, lines began to fall for me in pleasant places. I got help that could make the work progress. I got a better job and the likes. It is a long story. But one fact I remember then was that my meal was more or less once in a day. Most times it was beans! The fear of omo oniles too has now reduced.May I add that the thougt of having my own place never occured to me at all until when that neighbour of mine was making life difficult for me. And of course, some Nairalanders suggested I get my own place. It was initially funny to me. But at the same time I decided to give it a try. For those talking about taste, HMMMM, I can see that you dont know what it takes to get here. I could have made the exterior more colourful than that though, but if you know what is called security and the environment you find yourself, you will not dare do what will make your house kinda attractive to some bad guys. Most houses around mine dont even have their exteriors painted. I agree with those who suggested colour combination. I can work on that at anytime. Painting is more or less the easiest part of building. I just finished doing the interlocking. May I let all know that you cant finish building your own house. There will be need to do adjustments every now and then. I hope I have been able to do justice to some of the questions asked. Thanks once again for your inquisitiveness. May the Lord build good houses for us all. |
Naughtysite:Whoever this 100Cents indeed is, your prayer stood out. If to say you be my pastor, I for don dey look everywhere for you to do thanksgiving Thanks to all the people making comments. In fact, I never knew this post went through since my laptop developed a fault that required restarting while posting let alone making the front page. Just seeing it. I will take time to respond to some questions raised when I get to work tomorrow. May God bless our hustles all. |
100Cents:Thanks for this prayer. Baba God indeed answered it exactly the way you prayed it. |
Hello fellow Nairalanders. About a year ago, I came on this forum to complain about a neighbour of mine who was very cantankerous and inhuman in dealing with other neighbours. All sorts of advice were given then. And one of the pieces of advice was that I should go and build my own place if possible. Here is the link to the complaint: https://www.nairaland.com/2172824/neighbour-disturbs-me-generator I ruminated on this advice and after a while decided to give it a shot. It wasn't really funny at the initial stage. But to God be the glory today, I have moved to my own house - a four bedroom flat in a very nice environment. Attached are some of the pictures of the house. Thanks to all those who rendered help then. I so much love this forum.

franciskaine:Bro, the secret is all about knowing yourself, your potentials and being able to follow your dreams notwithstanding the challenges that lie ahead. I mean being focused. Above all, ask God to bless your hustle. Yet to get there anyways. But I can look back and thank God today. |
Just as advised, it is for a while as long as you don't give up. My first salary in Lagos as a 2.1 graduate of English was 15k years back. But today I live in my own house with 2 SUVs. Married with kids. I pray God blesses your hustle bro. |

The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, has stated that with the demise of the former Deputy Governor of the state, Chief Rafiu Bakare Adeyefa Jafojo, Lagos State and Nigeria, have lost a great patriot whose penchant for equity and justice was well known. Rt. Hon. Obasa, reacting to the death of the former Deputy Governor in the administration of Alhaji Lateef Jakande, through a statement by his (Obasa's) Chief Press Secretary, Musbau Rasak, described the deceased as one of the founding fathers of modern Lagos whose efforts in the Second Republic laid the solid foundation from which the Centre of Excellence has evolved and developed over the years. "Papa was a very patriotic Nigerian who was well known for his progressive pro-democratic ideals and promoter of equity and justice. Together with Alhaji Lateef Jakande and other members of the 1979-1983 Class, they laid a solid foundation for the development and growth of the state. This is the foundation from which subsequent administrations built upon to make the state live up to its sobriquet of Center of Excellence. "Papa died when his wealth of experience, wisdom and elderly advice are most needed at this crucial period the country is navigating towards a progressive change from previous mal-administration that has crippled the nation in the last 16 years. But who are we to query Almighty Allah? It is His wish that Papa should leave at this time, thus we are mere mortals who cannot query His decision," Rt. Hon. Obasa said. The Lagos Assembly Speaker therefore condoled with the Lagos State Government on the loss of an elder statesman and founding father; the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the death of a great and loyal party man; and the Jafojo family on the demise of their patriach. "I pray that Almighty Allah will grant him eternal rest and give the state, the party and the family in particular the fortitude to bear the huge loss. His was a life well spent as he contributed his all to the development and growth of the society he found himself, we should and will take solace in that," Rt. Hon. Obasa said. |
