Guys let's be careful with some areas in Lagos for 1 way thing especially at night. Somolu and Yaba axis are so full of such. I took someone to Somolu yesterday night. Entered through the road beside the Somolu police station. I was to take the road back when some officers stopped me. Asked of my papers and license. I gave them copies with me only for them to tell me I followed 1 way. They refused to return my papers but rather insisted I park very well. Guys, na so I reason am. I just reversed, made a U turn and left them with the photocopies.
Our police officers are so bleeped up these days that all they are after is harassing and extorting. Let's watch out for their wahala. |

This code is 02 sensor related code not catalyst. Just change the 02 sensor that's all. ajoks533: Thanks @Radautoworks for your advice, I appreciate. Please, no vex... What would you advice me on Catalyst. I picked this car and the sound from the under was funny and rattling a bit when I accelerate, I also noticed the fuel gauge drops faster than usual, meaning high fuel consumption. This prompted me to scan the car and the two times I scanned it brought back this error. On a physical check, the panel beater said the catalyst is empty. So, there is need for replacement. Right now am confused as to what to do because; 1. I just picked this car and want to keep this engine working perfectly for a very very long time, so I don't want to sabotage it's integrity. Which is the reason why I even want to start using Mobil 1. 2. The price of buying a direct belgium catalyst is not a pocket friendly one.
So please I need an advice and guide on how to solve this issue. |

Sogunlaiye ni? But no 5 sef no fit work in case you take trip to a dead area. GeneralZodd: 200k per week is massive earning but are you ready to pay the price.
For the you to net that amount everyweek, these are the things you will do.
1. Minimum of 15 hours of driving everyday: start work by 4am close 11pm
2. Sleep inside car to continue the next day.
3. Get a Jerry can and bucket for bathing on the road very early in the morning, your toothpaste and toothbrush, soap, roll on, cream and bag of clothes should always be in booth
4. Set aside some money for repairs cos your car will work round the clock.
5. Be ready to accept and do all trips, anywhere belle face, be it Apapa, Ikorodu, Sango ota, mowe O! Sha be ready to do it all
6. Don't reject card trips, the more card trips you do, the more cash trip request you get on bolt
7. Store pain killers in your car cos you re gonna have headache, migraine, joint pain, swollen legs. You will face traffic upon traffic.
8. Rating: render good service to riders, the better your rating the more trip request you get compared to low rating drivers.
9. Chase all bonuses, weekend and weekdays bonus, it will boost your weekly earning.
10. Target surging areas, surge multiply fares
11. Island people get more money to spend on taxi than mainland people. Their spending power pass mainland people. I can't remember how many times I ve been booked on Bolt for the whole day. I make as much as 15k-25k on this kind trip. If you can always find yourself around island you will make more.
12. Forget soap, . It's just a hype. Pray each day you step out for mercy, favour, grace and protection. |

So guys after 3 months of being blocked by bolt for requesting offline, they decided to unblock me this morning. I don't even know whether to celebrate it or just keep being loyal to my Indriver. I work on part time basis anyways. So, not bad combining both again. Uber too loading... I also noticed that my car that I used then which has been sold now is still active on the app even when the inspection expired in May. I hope it is not a trap again. So Na to go add the new vehicle once I do the inspection. Nice to be back on the platform. |

 Ghost1994: Wealthy/Rich people don't have to say they're rich.
They don't brag neither insult your ancestors.
If you asked a wealthy man how can one make such money, he will tell you to buy his book simply because he still wanna make more money they don't reveal their source never.
So goes to many Uber/bolt driver out there. They'll never showed you the hours put in, the bad days but yes I love the fact they'll show you their success (which is earnings screenshot). The bad idea amongst them is that the earnings you see clearly Hmmmm does not reflect in Bank account. I love motivating youngsters but I hate discouraging them from reality.
You, I mean you seeing above earnings and you wanna quit 150k job for bolt/uber kindly calm and hustle to buy your car for weekends alone. After all he (the dashboard man) wrote he only works part time to achieve that.
For the young man showing earnings and paying furnished apartment RENT in Chevron, kudos to you. |

There is now we can argue this. Whenever a rider is making a request, the ETA always shows. So no excuse. Riders should be available for pick up max 5 mins after driver has arrived. I had same annoying experience 2 days ago. It was my first trip. Got a request from Osapa. Rider was going to Obalende. I was even rushing to get there being indriver. Rider called and I told her I should be available in 4 mins time. I called her to let know I was around after using the entrance code. 10 mins after I called again, she told me THEY were coming. I needed the trip cos I had something to do in that area. I waited for another 15 mins and called her, same story. In all, I waited for more than 45 mins this idiot didn't show. I had to cancel trip and let Indriver take the Commission for a trip that didn't happen. I actually didn't click on Arrive at the PU, so twas a loss. 2 mins after I left, the idiot called asking me where I was. I painstakingly cursed her for wasting my precious time. She was not even angry. Still asking me to come pick them. I told her to go order Bolt. The surge don rise wella by then. See, most of our female riders are terrible in terms of keeping drivers waiting. To pick request at night these days on Indriver dey hard me. Reason being that the rider may not show and if you cancel, app will deduct the commission, though they claim it will be refunded after 30 days. Imagine, a whole 30 days. I presently have about 6k in the refund account. It is just pure evil to make a request and not be readily available when the driver arrives. SokizzRaven: It’s raining and there is no surge in Lekki phase 1 , I’d rather stay put than drive through those Lekki lagoons for stipends. Meanwhile make I drop this gist here
Yesterday I started the hustle (I started very late though) with a resolution that no matter how tempting an order to mainland is I wouldn’t take it, in the process and amidst other blacklisted destinations my cancellation rate shoot up to 65%. Then I said to myself I have to stop canceling orders now
Few minutes later a request came in, not far from where I parked. Destination Lekki phase1, pick up Cmart admiralty way.
Just before heading to pick up, I called rider I’m outside already (don’t want her delaying me for long for a ride of #500) she said she’ll join me in a minute. Drove down to pick up, still no sign of rider. 5 minutes later I called again, Rider: I’m checking out now I’ll be with you shortly (I was already fuming but I been no wan spoil my gentleman, so I kept it cool)
10 minutes later I called again Rider: I don’t know why this guy is this slow, but I’m next on the queue, will be out soon 5 minutes later still no sign of rider
A thought of zooming off in anger crossed my mind, but then I thought would she really understand the gravity of what she did if I zoomed off? So I made sure my doors was on lock and waited till this daughter of eve came out
Some minutes later, Saw her through my rare mirror checking out my plate for confirmation, then she proceeded to open the back door but oops! It’s locked Came a little forward to the passenger side window to knock, I looked at her with a smiling face and wind down a bit. These were my exact words to her ‘’Oh! You’re finally out (she said sorry bla bla bla....please your door is locked) you see that wait wey you been no wan wait, you go wait am. You wasted my time but it’s fine (she said but I’ve apologized now) It will just be nice to give you a doze of your own medicine’’ Put my gear in reverse and screed off ( saw her standing with her shopping bags, looking at the car in awe through my side mirror) |

Exactly. emmancecute: What is he/she doing in an undesirable place in the first place? This thing is not rocket science, whenever a rider request a trio and a driver accept, you as a rider will see the location of driver on your app too. You can track your driver, to know the time he will get to ur pickup. The app offers you a waiting time of 5mins, I can give you additional 5mins, but anything after this gets on my nerve. |

No. I disagree. Nothing stop her from booking when she is sure of being ready for the trip. Most Naija riders especially females are fond of making a request when they are not ready. They need to be treated this way. deedee44: From the way you narrated the story, 1. She was also delayed, probably network ish as she was trying to pay or something 2. She apologized
My opinion.. You should have picked her, it's those ones that always feel like it's their right to keep you waiting that deserve this kind of treatment.
