Well said. So, for a driver that gets blocked before the payment, what becomes his fate? In case you don't know, once blocked, these apps won't pay you your balance. I'm talking from experience.

This card trip issue is really funny to me. I see it as lack of discipline and planning on the part of the driver.

You get paid weekly so I see no reason why you should not keep money for fuel and other miscellaneous expenses.

I work on Fiverr and it takes 2 weeks after an order has been marked completed for us to get paid.

A job with 30 days delivery will mean that you get paid after 44 days, all things being equal (assuming no revision request and the buyer accepted the job on the day it was delivered).

Now, we have to wait for the funds to accumulate before initiating withdrawal so the money can be tangible.

So, we might have opportunity of withdrawing between 2-3 times in a month depending on how much sales we make daily.

I prefer card trip whenever I am driving on ehailing than cash as there are no issues of change or rider absconding with your money.

Drivers should please learn financial disciple and stop rejecting card trips.

Asking for destination is understandable because of so many factors. One of mine is even not taking a request too far from my house when it's getting late or when I have decided to stop working for the day but just need one more trip closer to my house.

Your experience is exactly what most car owners pass through, even from drivers got outside Nairaland. When I see the way drivers use cars on the roads, I can't but pity the owners. Was thinking of getting a car strictly to be given out on rentals. But since my eyes don see as e dey go, I don reverse the idea. Most drivers on rentals are evil!

Well, I feel for you but the truth of the matter is, I will not advice any car owner on this platform to deal with any driver from here. I have had experience with four drivers here and it ends in tears. They will come and tell you that there won't be any problem during the transaction period but u will hear different stories later.
If I share the pictures of the cars given to this reckless and heartless drivers here, u will curse them. They messed up the cars beyond recognition.

One thing I know in life is that u can't cheat your fellow being and expect things to work out for you. NEVER

Do you know how much to buy it cost to get a car now.
I hope you will see a partner here sha but for me, I can't do that mistake again.

Allowing riders connect to your Bluetooth might not end well. From experience, it is not wise.

Lol. Been using it since last year but sparingly. As Uber knack me akpako for August na so I turn Indriver to the main app. Did more than 400 trips so far, though on the app is less than that as I cancelled some trips once I know you appear to be troublesome. I will still take you to where you re going and collect my money sha ọ.

Some riders don't understand the way rating works. And if you try to put them through, most of them will prove they know better. Imagine someone praising me as a good driver and still dropped 3 stars

Never be bothered. Just keep getting more 5 stars. Your rate will rise though slowly. It appears you need about 40 5 stars to move from 4.4 to 4.5. I got that from a chat I had with them sometimes ago.
Me wey dey 4.6 sef dey get block warning every now and then.

Chuchmoore please come and give me training on how indriver work, I receive a mesage of bad reviews and may be block. I have not taken much trip on indriver as seen and I've been cool, good chat and free flow with riders unlike other app. So far my rating is 4.4 with 27 reviews, 22 five stars, 2 four stars and 3 one stars. The first one star came as a result of me not being happy with the rider and I made it clear to him, that was my very first trip on indriver, the rest 2 were as a result of ending the trip instead of cancelling, to aviod uber treatment, since there is no commision. Responding to someone when you have nothing meaningful to say will definitely make you unreasonable. It is better to just read and pass.

Having said that, there is a stops feature on all the apps. Even Indriver does that. So far you don't include that, you have no reason to detour except the driver wants it so. Besides, the girl in the story wanted to play a smart one on the person that initiated the trip cos it s a card trip!
