If you started this your house April and you are doing finishing already by now that means your house no be Kobo Kobo house.

We the Kobo Kobo house owners start foundation and rest for 8months
set another block, rest for 5 month
finish lintel then rest for 1year
roof the house after 1 year rest for another 7 month
Start plastering and other finishing and house will be completed after 4-5 years. That's Kobo Kobo house

It's different from money that's on ground that you just go and pull out for the project non-stop .

One of the reasons I chose plasterboard/cement board over pop boards. And wallpapers over wall screed in certain areas.

The floor tiles in the project below has been installed even before the POP and the wall finishing. It was actually a remodeling job.

Because we are using plasterboards, we were able to minimize the amount of debris generated.

Those pop guys sabi waste materials!

Go out there and look at tiles and get prices
Pick the type of tiles you want
Bring few of the tiles to your sit, get the tiler to review the tiles
Now tell the tiler go give you measurement-------"Time for your eye to Open"
Now go buy the tiles base on the Engineer measurement
Tell the tiles seller to MAKE SURE THE NUMBER OF YOUR TILES YOU BUY IS COMPLETE
Call the tiler to come start work
Tell the tiler the total piece of tiles you bought
That you will count each room IN PIECE

I've always felt that Kobo Kobo project meant a builder done in stages as money or other related issue allows. As opposed to wiring N50M to a builder for a turnkey building.

Hajjs house was built as a Kobo Kobo project (in fact I think it was on this project that it was coined) but it's far from a low cost build.

It’s also much lesser than N5,000 when you buy from here and you’ll receive your order same day - not 6 weeks or 3 months after.

I never had to comb the whole of Lagos looking for what’s not lost. I only send my Uber driver to the company and they gave him my good.

That’s the big difference here bro!

You’re buying a product you’ve not seen from a seller you’ve not met and you think it’s cheaper than the ones you can see physically and obtain parts+labour warranty. What about the associated risks?

Simonkk is a Chinese company producing lights here in Nigeria. They’re not stockist neither do they retail.

Same way I went all the way from lagos to Asaba to advice a client on the choice of cable to buy but ended up buying the cheaper one and still spend more money.. by the way I am the one that handle both projects.
