There's this particular one I'm watching here in Paris, France but I think it's in built into the TV.

The app is called Smart TV app with over 5000 channels.

I'll ask my host how he did it. But the TV is a smart TV with 4k features, cos I've tried downloading SmartTV app on regular Android TV box but non is working.

All the channels are available, but don't know if it's free.

The network ISP is Orange France and it's super fast. They operate on 4G+ with speed of light.

All countries have channels featured and since my Arrival in Paris on 24th December, I've been watching Nigeria channels.

I was almost robbed today at the Subway at Gare Du Nord in Paris.

Due to the protests today, most of the buses didn't operate fully and we were forced to use Subway enroute to Louvre via Chǎtelet

At M4 platform as we were about entering the train, I just saw a white fist reaching for my pocket in an attempt to pull out my purse and phone. My Naija sense at play, I caught the lady and hit her fist off.

A lot of people in the train then said that's how they do in Paris, stealing purses and phones.

That would have been disastrous in this Buhariconomics.

I applied for the Edmund Hilllary Fellwowship programme (www.ehf.org) which brings impact makers from around the world to New Zealand to lead change from the country. Fellows are granted the exclusive Global impact Visa (GIV) which is a three year open work visa that leads to permanent residence status. Unfortunately after going through the rigorous multi layered selection stages and getting to the finals my candidacy wasn’t successful at this time. However I was advised that in order to strengthen my candidacy that i will need to make a short visit trip first to New Zealand in order to better understudy how things work in that terrain .So I am at the point of planning that trip now and would want to seek out your advice which is a bit confidential and cannot be shared here .

Yeah, the suburbs are very quiet. Movement in Paris today is highly limited. Almost all the train stations are closed except the automated ones (M1 and M14) and most of the Trams.

If you intend to go out today with the fam, you can do an Uber or Taxi to Musée du Louvre (Louvre Musuem), then walk to Ponts des Arts (Love Bridge) and Arc de Triomphe as they are closeby. Thereafter, take another Uber to Eiffel Tower...and call it a day.

We have a big bus Tour around today.

My resident contact suggested we take 613 bus to AOLNAU and then take a train

What do you suggest?

When filing your Schengen visa application form, if you indicated France and Amsterdam then Add both hotel bookings and show tour itinerary for both countries.
If you didnt indicate going to both countries on the form but just to France, do the itinerary for your days in Paris.
When your visa is out you can do as you please.

Exactly what we did.

Mentioned only France, but now due to strike, thinking of going to Amsterdam and Brussels/brugge

I live in France and maybe, just maybe my fiancé can take you and your family around one day. He loves that (no fees attached please).
He lives in Lyon and I live in Paris, but he wouldn't mind if he has the time.
He'll be coming today and leaving in like 8 days time.

We should be arriving Paris Tomorrow by God's grace via Turkish airlines from Istanbul.

Since you stay in Paris, we can chat through mail. Wouldn't want to stress you or your fiance much, but you can just assist with directions to strategic places for family fun fair and shopping.

Paris is a bit too expensive for my liking and January is few days ahead and no one wants to spend money on tourism and become broke in January.

Istanbul is so great, unfortunately we made a mistake booking 10 days stay in Paris.

Turkey at ₦65 to 1TL is cheaper than Paris at ₦406 to €1.

We are doing Kadikoy tomorrow.

Or for those that have been here tomorrow, where is it advisable to buy wares not too expensive in Istanbul?

Go lots of people to give souvenirs to. I'm not buying anything in Paris.

All shopping would be done here before entering Paris in Tuesday

Istanbul is not that bad, go to teksim square, nice place and cheap hotel, from there to bekistas stadium, board a cruise with 5lira to another city, if u have Istanbul card will be nice, try have google translator, Turkish can talk and relate in respect of your race. Enjoy

My son, just locked this jam lock and we needed to get a carpenter in Istanbul. The guy fixed the door and charged $15. It took him less than 2 mins.

Same thing I'll call Ibrahim in Lagos to fix for ₦500 or at most ₦1000, I ended up paying ₦5200.

But it's part of experience and can't beat the boy

I don't know if they every close within the 365/366 days calendar year, except national holidays in Nigeria, election days and the national holidays in the country you intend visiting among the 26 Schengen countries

What was your expectation? I haven't been there though but sometimes some of these countries are over rated.

This place is a junk ground like Ajegunle or Ìsàlè Eko.

It's because they dashed us Visa for $40 each, that I decided to spend 3 days here.

Not worth it one bit.

Taxi drivers don't speak English, Hotel attendants don't speak English, we started communicating with signs and hands.

The damn cold is killing. The heater can't even prevent me from having flu like symptoms.
