PropertiesRe: How Much Would Complete This Detached House In Lagos by davodyguy(op): 2:51pm On Dec 20, 2019
Hello guys.

Finally completed the soil test for this site today.

Machine reached it's final stop at exactly 28 metres deep into the sub structure. shocked

Location is around Ogudu Ori-oke

Like how much should be Budgeted for pile foundation?

Just a rough estimate and not the specific.

IF what you've been advised to use is pile foundation (IF), you'll need more than a rough estimate, you'll need a structural engineer doing a detailed design and a Q.S for cost advice based on that design.

Goodluck
Hi

When you say 'if'

Is there any other foundation that could have been recommended for a soil that porous?

I want to learn more on this

Sorry please. I would love to know did you book and paid for all these when submitting your application or you paid after your visa has been issued ?

Tho I want to apply for a visa next month. I’m making reservations with hotel and tour guide.

What do you suggest ?
The only tour I paid for before application is the Seine River Cruise, which is about ₦13,000+ for the family.

I didn't pay for hotel before Visa application, neither did I book any tour.

90% done after visa approval.

We also obtained Turkish Visa, which is only granted after you must have been granted a Schengen visa

Hello guys

Can I get an estimate for this from substructure to superstructure?

Land are is 9.25m *37m
Foot print of building is 29m*7m x 2 floors(Ground Floor and Upper floor)
Land is located in water logged area in Lagos, hence foundation needs to be solid and as high as 1 metre after the Natural Ground Level

Thanks

That's a whole lot of money. Please monitor the situation of things in Paris before you travel. Without public transportation running in Paris, live can be miserable for visitors. There's an ongoing strike that has paralyzed public transportation with skeletal Services.
Paris is a beautiful city.
You can reduce your stay in Paris if you can talk to your hotel and get a refund. With that you can do another 3 days in Amsterdam. Another beautiful city.
Thanks so much for this response.

That's why I like this forum. Some really nasty people and some real human beings are here.

Paid ₦300k for 10 nights in Paris via Airbnb
Booked Seine River boat cruise (hoping this has nothing to do with the strike) for 26/12/19
Book Big Bus Tour hop on and hop off Bus(hoping this isn't going to be affected by the strike too) 25/12/19.

From Boxing day we might have to move to Brussels or Brugge or even Amsterdam.

Quite unfortunate.

Just that my wife wouldn't want to go alone. I have a court case that I need to attend to on Monday as defense counsel.

This life huh

The cash is okay and don't meet the threshold for declaring, so you are good to go.

I hope you enjoy your stay in Paris, and be prepared to do a lot of Taxis and Ubers (with slightly higher prices). The strike is really making mobility quite difficult!
Wow, what a wrong timing. I'll just try to be positive sha cos of my family.

There are some work related issues that I need to fix in Nigeria. I mean serious one, but wifey would not understand. She's over prepared

Hope this route is transit visa free?

Will appreciate your responses.
You don't need any transit.

We used the Dubai Australia Auckland route, cos I wanted to stopover in Dubai/Australia. Hence I obtained UAE and Australia transit visas

They hardly ask questions about BTA at POE. Just calculate what will be enough for your stay.
France is a bit expensive.
Thanks

France is a bit expensive.

The mistake I made was not booking more nights in Istanbul. We booked 3 nights and 4 day time and all the tours for entire 4 days including visits to Lego Land, Madame Tausands, bosiphorous boat cruise etc are all under 100k including hotel.

But the tours I bookmarked in Paris are almost 300k for just 10 days. Its crazy and regretful.

I'm planning $2000 and €1000 together (N1,200,000) as PTA even though all tours in Istanbul and accommodation in both Paris and Istanbul fully paid already. Do you think this is much, considering we holding our master cards that can also be used for payment?

I'm traveling in a couple of days with 4 nights first at Istanbul and 10 nights in Schengen area. We booked Turkish Airlines, which made me worried

TravelHere Are Countries You Can Buy Citizenship From, When Tired Of Nigeria by davodyguy(op): 9:11pm On Dec 13, 2019
There have been many attempts by people to leave the country, Nigeria, for so many reasons. These reasons range from corruption to poor governance. Hence, people are seeking for greener pastures where they will be a chance to put their talent to better use.

However, being a Nigeria has its disadvantages especially when it comes to gaining access to other countries. The good news is that you can purchase your citizenship for another country.

Below are some countries to consider:

Cyprus
If you are considering Cyprus, then be ready to dedicate 56 days. This citizenship requires an investment of €2m in real estate (806,269,459 naira), government bonds, a bank deposit in a Cyprus bank or investment in a new company. Candidates must also own a €500,000 home in Cyprus forever.

Turkey
Also in Turkey, to get citizenship, investing in the Turkish lira equivalent of £195,000 (78,768,671.96 naira) into real estate and keeping it for three years can earn you a Turkish passport in a matter of months.

Moldova
Becoming a Moldovan citizen requires a donation of €100,000 (40,396,721.25 naira) and a government fee or an investment of €250,000 in approved real estate. Once you do this, you are on your way to being a citizen.

So if you do not have a large chunk of money, it is better you work towards making Nigeria better at least.

Haywhey:
Do I need Travel Tour Guide if I am visiting a friend who sent me an invitation?
Understand few things

1. Travel Tour Guide refers to a noun which could be a machine or human being that would guide you on your tour, showing you where to go. Your friend resident in FR can be a tour guide and you can get other tour guides on Viator or Tripadvisor.

2. Drawing tourist plan is not same as having a 'Travel Tour Guide'. You can draw up an itinerary say Monday, we visit Disneyland Paris, Tuesday we visit Louvre Museum, Wednesday Eiffel Tower, Thursday we visit Seine River Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Cruise in Paris etc. You may need to have this plan, even though you have a host. Cause you can go to these tourist attractions solo or go with a Travel Tour Guide

A lot of people get refused visa on point 2: Justification of Travel not specified.
You need to tell the Immigration Officer how you are going, what you will be doing in the 1 month you intend to stay and when you would be returning.
