passendi:Which one? |
Same thing happening in the US |
Mrop:Yes o |
passendi:Mytv CCcam is ₦1000 per month, while the official rate per annum is ₦2500. Which would you rather go for? But of you opt for the CCcam, you get Fox Sports as bonus and an adult TV (if you're one of those that fancy it) |
mhizv:Don't even go there. I'm traveling to Auckland in September and would be stopping over for 16 hours at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, What if they gas us out? Anything is possible, but i'm not sure it has gotten to that extent just yet. If such happens, then it total war being declared against Nigerians |
They should ask India. Those Bullshitz doesn't work in sport anymore. We were told that Ivory Coast did same thing against Nigeria in Tunisia 1994, yet they lost to the Super Eagles. Juju doesn't work in sport, hard-work works. If it works, many footballers should have been greater than Lionel Messi and Ronaldo |
The only way to avenge is for us to destroy SA today |
These guys may eventually cut themselves off Nigeria without a civil war of agitation |
blackslayer:You said it, not me |
Ultimatezlant:Before he made millions, |
Skin Colour though. |
ugsams:Great. I need ideas of fun places to visit for 2 consecutive days. Like beach, zoo, museum, historical sites, train tour etc I had so much fun when I was in Sydney in 2017, I want to relive those memories. Any suggestions and what it would likely cost? I'll be staying on Wakefield Street, Auckland 1010 CBD, you can know where to recommend I visit Thanks |
ugsams:It is well. May God bless our hustle |
ugsams:Where are you based? Thought you're in Auckland too |
ugsams:I pray and believe you. Till then. It's 2:00am I guess. Why are you still up? ![]() |
ugsams:This is great. I can still survive 5° before returning to 30° in Lagos |
ugsams:Thanks bro. What would the weather be like from 1st September till 15th September, 2019? |
idsolar:Thanks so much |
Transformium:In fact you're very correct. Nothing taking me there till 2023 before or after General election. I needed it urgently then as I was processing my New Zealand Visa application. Passport came out on 28th May, I applied for Visa on 11th June, Visa with Multiple status granted Yesterday, 5th July, 2019 |
Transformium:I got mine on 28th May, 2019. That's the last time I visited there, but spent ₦60,000 aggregate in total |
playcharles:It used to be ₦17,000 for the old 32 pages I got from Abeokuta as official payment in May, 2019. ₦25,000 is for the newer version |
Tolexander:or emo |
femijck What's the weather going to be like in Auckland by September? I can't stand the heat in Europe and America presently. ![]() |
NiyiOmoIyunade:Chief niyi Needs recommendation on Reliable batteries 200AH. Gennex Technologies do not have AGM or GEL, and I would havè gone for Quanta but they're not available either So recommend another good one Thanks |
Ritzy10:Not like what Turkey did. I think that's the biggest for now, the one in Istanbul |
Dlee1:Thanks for lending your voice. Recall, I asked a question about the decoder and you're one of the people that responded. Is it a bad thing to have patronized him? In 2009, I bought a decoder from George D of this same Nairaland. When I had a complaint, George D handled with care and till date we are cool. Malix sells products to many people on Nairaland. He's in Alaba. Issues arise, Malik would never tell them to go to hell. He would say send the product back, let me check. Do you know what this guy first said when I called him around 8:00am today? He said he doesn't pick calls early in the morning and if the decoder is damaged, it's my headache, since he tested it and it worked before leaving. What kind of disrespectful comment is that for God's sake? The issue is not even about the defective product, shitz do happen, but response matters. What if it's a traffic product you buy on 3rd Mainland bridge? What can you do to the seller? But this guy should protect his image. Show empathy and apologize to the customer and then carefully offer solution. Imagine this classless guy being boastful that he can throw away ₦15,000. It's really annoying haba |
discjoe:I hope those putting up defense for you can now see. Let's analyze your post. 1. According to you ₦15,500 is my problem. 2. Maybe I used thunder to attack a decoder. Nairalanders help me ask this guy when I turned to Sàngó God of thunder? you're just classless. SMH for anyone dealing with you.3. I should take it to Uzor. At first I should take it to Oshodi. From Oshodi, i should take it to Uzor who's in Alaba. 4. So if we get to Uzor and he says it's manufacturer error, what would you do? 5. If uZor has solution, who pays for it? 6. Since ₦15,500 is my problem according to you, would you rather refund it? Abi, since it's not a problem to you. I'm just here exposing your ignorance and how you do not have business sense at all. Your customer is disappointed and you came up to show lack of concern. I hope those reading this can decipher how cocky you are. Caveat. You can't even put up a coherent write, yet you're forming expert. Those calling you really like you and have an idea of who you're dealing it. You can go wrong on a ₦15,000 product but pay heavily for such mistake. I'll show you a 2013 thread of a certain guy Xspet who tried this with some of us. By January, 2014 he knew what happened to him. Till date he vanished from Nairaland. Accept my offer to visit me on Monday for friendly chat, since you know I can't do anything. I promise I wouldn't do anything. ![]() |
Where's Monlo putting up a defense for this class guy? This is supposed to be a dealer or a marketer in the service industry rendering services responding mannerlessly like this? It's because you have comprehension issues that what has led to this level. Listen well and I'll rephrase what I wrote 1. I picked your contact here 2. Called you and you showed up in my office 3. You tested the decoder and it failed couple of times, later it worked and we watched together for 30mins 4. I paid you, you left and I packed the box. 5. 2 days later, which is today, same decoder that worked whilst with me failed to power up or respond 48 hours later after the sale 6. I called you to explain the challenge to you. 7. Your response to a dissatisfied customer is that the customer should go and fix it, that it's not your problem, since it worked day 1 and anything outside that is not your business. 8. I reminded you that there could be what's called manufacturer's error, which is not limited to only decoders. Even aircrafts can have errors which is due to the manufacturer. 9. Based on your low intelligence, you said since it worked day 1, it means there's no manufacturer error. According to you, if a product should work day 1, it means it has no effect and that you delivered it in good condition. 10. I reminded you that even a car can drive smooth for first 5 days and still have defects, which is why we have recalls. I'm not blaming you since you're not the manufacturer, but rather could be error from factory. There can always be a Judas in a 12 men. 11. You said as far as you are concerned, no warranty, no receipt, no after sales service, except if I would pay you to send it to Kuwait or Dubai. Your next suggestion is that I take to a certain guy in Arena who handles issues like this for you, but I'll be responsible. 12. You then claimed, I must damaged it myself so you can't fix. 13. I took to the recommended guy who said he can't fix, but I have to revert to you that the Board is damaged, due to no fault of mine, as there's no power surge or strike, neither can he smell any burnt in the decoder. 14. Same guy said I have to call you to at least show concern. 15.. The guy tried calling you didn't pick. 16. Hola who's a Nairalander that knows you also tried calling you, you didn't pick 17. I called you, you picked a d later cut off the conversation. 18. From then till now, you didn't pick my calls. 19. I posted on Nairaland, then someone called your attention to this thread, and you showed up. 20. Your defense is very lame and shows how uncultured you are. 21. You lack the very business sense every reasonable human being should ha e In showing concern. 22.. You went ranting on WhatsApp that no one can stop your sales, infact you sold 2 cartons. 23. Why will a reasonable human being behave like that. 24. I'm making you an offer, let's meet again on Monday in my office, since you said you're not scared for us to discuss this face to face. I hope those putting up defense for you can see you don't have any class at all discjoe: |
Monlo:It's good you know him and putting up a defense. I picked his contact here, called him and he personally came down to my office. Whilst we chatted and tested the decoder, all through it was 'yes sir yes sir's that he used in responding to me. But as Yorubas would say 'Idobale kìí ṣe ìwà' being respectful to someone you consider an elder is not necessarily character. You sold a product to someone and issues arose thereafter and the first comment you made is 'I can't fix decoder you damaged yourself' Then, bring money to send to Dubai I give No warranty for tiger decoders I give no receipt for tiger decoders Haba. No courtesy or single regard for someone who actually purchased a product and dissatisfied Imagine that? Even when you buy from AliExpress or Alibaba, there's what we call 'buyer protection' cos so e products can be defective from factory, which is quite understandable. But this guy just lacks class I know errors can occur at anytime. I gave example of aircrafts above, but you'll not see Boeing insult grieving customers or abuse their sensitivity, that's my challenge with him. Is it possible to purchase a product and deliberately damage it? Does that make any sense? The ₦15,000 is absolutely nothing, but as you said businesses thrive when you've good reputation. Right now, youve forwarded my post above to him, guess what his doing now, insulting me on Whatsapp saying all sorts of stuff. That's how childish the guy you're defending is. Saying, he just sold 2 cartons today blablabla I would have loved him to just appear in person so we resolve this. He knows my office and can visit at anytime for us to resolve, very simple |
Miril:Will check it out We would be arriving Auckland on Sunday 8th and by 12th and 13th, need to catch my fun around the city before returning back to Nigeria |
Hello everyone Just want to sound a note of warning based on personal experience dealing with this dubious guy quoted. When dealing with people online, especially on Nairaland, ensure they're known individuals that can be trusted discjoe:Some people may recall that I enquired about the prices of Tiger decoders on 2nd July and many people offered to help Unfortunately for me, I stumbled on the post this Muna Buhari guy, thinking since he advertised on Nairaland, he would be reliable. I contacted him and he delivered the decoder to my office on Wednesday 3rd July. Whilst with me, he tested the decoder, even though it powered off couple of times but eventually stabilized. Today Friday 5th, July I powered on Decoder, it refused to come on. I was like this Tiger T8 Ultra HD purchased for ₦15,000 is brand new, even though there are scratches on the cover. I showed it to him same day he brought it. He said it may be the carton. I called him to inform him of the status of the decorder this morning. Guess what? The guy said since he tested it on day 1, it means nothing is wrong with it. It can never have manufacturer error and if it doesn't power on, I may have damaged it. Hence, he can't be held accountable for a Brand New decoder(not fairly used) that messed up less than 24 hours after purchase. Just imagine the response of the charlatan, forgetting that you can buy a brand new car, drive it for 5 days and the brake can fail, which is why we have several recalls from vehicle manufacturers. The Boeing Max 777 aircraft is brand new but crashed due to manufacturer's error. The guy said I should give him money to send to Dubai/Kuwait or I should take it to a certain Mambo in Oshodi Arena, but I will pay for the fixing of a brand new decoder used for less than 48 hours. I opted to go to Oshodi. The Mambo guy opened the decoder and said it's not the power or fault of mine, but rather a board issue, which he can't fix. I called this Muna Buhari to brief him, but he cut off the conversation and refused to pick my calls since then. Some people that know him on Nairaland called him, he gave the phone to someone else to pick. Even the Mambo he recommended tried reaching him, he didn't pick up. I'm wondering how we have so many badly behaving people in Nigeria. Now, this is not the government vs the people, but people vs people. I've dealt with people on Nairaland before and when issues arise, we find a way to resolve it. This guy said, no warranty, no receipt, no customer support. If anything happens even 39 mins after purchase from him, you should forget it I would have taught him a lesson he won't forget for a very long time, but he hasn't been picking my calls. I would have invited him to office for lunch just as he came on Wednesday for us to discuss. Please deal with only known people and not retards like this guy |
