van bonattel: I can see you are getting jittery already, all these points just to make us change our minds from voting housa, close your smelly mouth and take some chill pill. We will vote hausa again and again as long as the battle is against a yoruba man, if you don't like it.......jump into the lagoon! grin grin
Continue voting Hausa whenever OBJ needs votes too you would readily give him

Zik like many African rulers had a major character and integrity problem. At the root was his self-concept or self definition(the way one sees oneself). He saw himself in his own words as a "Beautiful Bride" for the highest bidder as well as indispensable. The former executive president of Nigeria, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, a mild mannered man captured it well when he told Zik during the 1979 election campaign: "when you switch husbands one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight times, you are no longer a beautiful bride but a harlot."

Are we forgetting this key piece of information?

Woged2005: In fact, she was the abuser, she patronizes fake Nigerian pastors who saw fake visions/ prophesies for her, she gossips a lot, insults her husband before us, and can’t move along with anyone. In addition, she was secretly going out with a male nurse at her workplace of which I confronted her before and she said he’s just a friend. Now we know he’s more than a friend to her because they made love.
Yes I would actually. OP doesn't seem to live in the same country with them. She keeps saying I hear this and that. I hear this. We don't know how it works in America. Elders here in Nigeria are trying to intervene. It is too far fetched an account to judge on.
Where did you get the impression she doesnt live in America? Please post it
Family › Re: Should He Fight For Custody Of His Kids?? by dayokanu(m): 5:15pm On Jan 13, 2013
Look, your argument failed. I asked a question and you run off tangent. The OP does not even live in America. So what exactly does she know goes on in their home? You seem to reason like you have brain farts or lapses. Cause someone does not agree with your baseless arguments you go crazy. I still stand on what I wrote. Please, have several seats or continue your party here. No one is out to get you or argue in circles with you. Opo. I sound paranoid? How? Hahahaha, you are the one jumping up and down this thread like you have something to prove. I have stayed neutral through out. Try and keep your parade going with Dayo. I will rather argue with him, as you seem to just lose it and act like a toddler.
Where in her post did you read she doesnt live in America?

Woged2005: I visited the kids last week; they sat on chairs like orphans depressed. They miss their dad! Even my cousin has started suffering, as she’s now saddled with raising two girls by herself because of $1000 a month child support. Yet pride won't let her stop. Did I mention that she retained a white lawyer whose interest is getting paid per hour and keeps firing up the case?
Family › Re: Should He Fight For Custody Of His Kids?? by dayokanu(m): 5:11pm On Jan 13, 2013
Where in all this did the OP mention her cousin told her first hand? Looks and sounds like gossip and stories from the husband. You are trying to push me to make it seem like I am on the woman's side, and that is nonsense. I still stand on my word that I wouldn't judge based on a 3rd person's aCcount which can be equaled to gossip. Some things just don't add up. If the couple can come and fight it out here or one of them can come here, then at least we would be able to ask reasonable questions.
You think it would be better to hear directly from the man or woman rather than from a 3rd party? Who would give a balanced opinion
Politics › Re: Is Ojukwu A National Hero Or An Igbo Hero? by dayokanu(m): 4:56pm On Jan 13, 2013
van bonattel: The point is lost on you, he fought to break the evil union called nigeria and failed. Many years later your afenifere elders are still crying marginalization, Ojukwu was right afterall, we will never be one nation.
The way to break the union which his father Azikwe negotiated is by sacrificing 3million lives of women and children, attacking neutral territories and finally fleeing in the face of war

What does a witch need to start?

Oh She is now in America, She can now make a few change, How can any man tell her what to do, where to go and where not to go?

She has all she needs She has kids, she has a good paying job? What next get rid of the man and rope him in spurious charges while at the same time getting money from him

The girl who sent a guy to jail claiming rapee story that David posted yesterday, What did the guy do to her to make her ruin the guys life?

What did Mike Tyson do to Miss Washington to make her ruin his life? What did Ambassador Wigwe do to his wife to have his career ruined

Like someone asked yesterday When Wigwes wife claimed battery the first thing that happened was Wigwe was relieved of his job, Judged in the court of public opinion some months later he was vindicated but how many people who heard the first story would hear the return.

If you mention Ambassador Wigwe now the first thing most people would say is "Is it that wife beater"

To know how I remembered his name? I googled "Nigeria Ambassador wife beater" and his name and picture popped up
I personally don't totally want to judge on the OP's story as it is a third party account. So that is why I limited my argument to other people's arguments. Am sure we would be surprised if the woman came to narrate her story.
What argument would the woman make to turn the kids against their father? Or for visiting Pastors thus scattering her marriage? or wanting desperately for her ex husband to be in jail

This is a man who pays Child support without fail. That alone shows he is responsible, Most men wont pay the $1,000 per month if he was as wicked as you want us to believe

Banks was 16 and had just been offered a scholarship to USC when Wanetta Gibson accused him of sexual assault and kidnapping in 2002.

He was on the way to the school office to talk about his college applications when he bumped into Gibson, a fellow student, and they went to a stairwell to make out, his attorney Justin Brooks said.

He explained that Banks said something to upset Gibson and they parted on bad terms. She later accused him of kidnapping her, dragging her across the school and raping her in the stairwell.
Investigators tested her but found no physical evidence of rape, Brooks said. Banks maintained they had not had sex and all sexual contact had been consensual.
.

He was exonerated in May after Gibson added him as a friend on Facebook when he left prison with a tag a few months earlier. In a message, she explained she wanted to 'let bygones be bygones'.

Brooks said his client met Gibson and caught her on video saying there there had been no kidnap and no rape, and would help him clear his record.

Yet she refused to repeat the story to prosecutors as she feared she would have to return a $1.5 million payment she won after her mother brought a suit against Long Beach Schools.

She was quoted as telling Banks: 'I will go through with helping you but it's like at the same time all that money they gave us, I mean gave me, I don't want to have to pay it back.'

A young naija couple in North Carolina the guy fled from the state after the wife bludgeoned his head with sticks they had 2 kids together and the girl was the one filing for him so he didnt want to report her to the cops but she was the one who got a restraining order and tried to file marital rapppee charges on him that he wants sexxx at odd hours, that he is a recent immigrant from Nigeria they believed women are objects, he touches he breasssts roughly anyhow. while proceedings was going on (which he was eventually acquitted) he couldnt attend classes at Duke University during the ordeal while his student loans was still running.

The first family I stayed with in Houston that was when I saw it openly a couple got into an argument She said in Yoruba "Hoobii wa de ri ohun to ma se fun e- You would see what I would do to you", Next thing picks phone dials 911 and starts crying about how the husband was beating her. The guy fled the house. cos in 5 mins the apartment was swarming with policemen. She brought out the Omorogun and showed the cops that was what he used to beat her whenever he is drunk

coogar: play with kids abroad? hell to the no!
i am the meanest when it comes to such - i cannot count the number of times my neighbours kids would try to sneak to my flat to game some playstation. i simply tell them a big no! before their frustrated moms stitch me up like michael jackson. a man has never won such cases. with a black skin? it's probably 6 yrs in jail and some 20 yrs on the sex offender's register.
Mug shot all over internet, the moment you move into a neighbourhood the prices drop as everyone start selling their homes. Any situation that would make you be alone with a child not yours

It doesnt even matter what the sex of the child is, I had an Akata friend who has 3 boys first thing they do when they see me is to jump on my neck ask you to carry them, Ask us to play Xbox or want my phone to play all sort of games.

I flee from them now, I dont even come down from my car whenever I go visit Better be safe than right

davidylan: Tell your brother 2 things:

1. Wear a condom with any woman you are with unless you are marrying her. Should she get pregnant and have a baby for you... kiss your life goodbye.

2. If your friends have kids... STAY AWAY from them. Dont offer to babysit, dont bathe, feed or clothe them. Dont hold their hand, hug them or allow them to sit on your lap. Dont give them ANY gifts (worst of all food)... NEVER EVER be alone with any of them.

Keep those 2 rules and you will enjoy living in Ammurikka!
The bolded part should be your watchword. Never I repeat never do any of those. The consequence are grave.

You would have to register as a child molester and everywhere you live, you MUST notify your neighbours you are a child molester, you cant live close to a school, Cant have custody of a child etc.

I laugh when they keep urging him to go and fight in court... perhaps they have a court fund waiting to pay for his legal fees.
