they would need a much more aggressive holding midfielders to do the water-carrying! none of torres, mata, hazard and oscar has any defensive ability. at least with rooney, tevez, pedro, suarez, etc you have strikers who can press and defend from the front - the chelsea attacking quartet cannot offer that so they have to play 2 Tiotes in that middle......

Nowadays if your strikers cant press from the front you are most likely going to lose.

The responsibility of defence cant be left to 2 holding midfielders alone. Thats why 4-2-3-1 would beat 4-4-2 on most days If there is one thing that makes Barcelona dominant its the offensive pressing

Football has gone past the days of 1 "Voltron" defensive midfielder doing all the work especially with teams going for 4-2-3-1, Gone are the days when Makelele would be doing all the defensive work and others would be chilling in front to receive the ball, You cant afford to have lazy attackers anymore.

Cos if its picking your calls at clubs you should know that clubs are very noisy and almost impossible to pick calls there
