Family › Re: Why do some single ladies marry married men? by dayokanu(m): 6:07pm On Aug 24, 2012
I would keep the below post in reference to the lazy women of nowadays who believe a vaginna is their means to better life.

kulyie: amen o! D funny part of it was when my housemate (who we went to church togeda) asked me what he said n i told her,she asked me what i told him n i tokd her d next thing i heard was dat ha shewa,u fked up,how can u miss an oportunity as golden as dis.dont u want to join d leagues of gals who fix 7o,ooo naira brazillian hair n drive a posh car,i said yes i will, but dat will b wit d work of my hands n not my vagyna, den she hissed n said i shud giv her d mans number,i said go bak to church n look 4 d man, shebi u dey find awuf.i just left her and went to d kitchen to cook lunch, dats how i closed d chapter,my house mate on d oda hand doesnt mind a polygamous home as long as she can wear latest clothes, change her fone every month, have a posh car n go n show off
kulyie: This thing u folks are talkin bout has almost happened to me.there was a fateful sunday like dat when i was in church listening to d word of God,an usher gave me a little pice of note pointing @ d direction where d note was comin from,d man eventually identified himself sayin he was d one dat wrote d note.d note went like dis,'hey cutie.av been watchin u for quitw som tym in dis church, ill like u to spare me 1o mins of ur tym afta church,i av somtin very important i want to discuss wit u'. In my mind i was like shey eleyi gbadun sha (is dis one ok)anyway afta church service,d man came to meet me where i was sittin and exchanged greetins wit me n said i av a marriage proposal 4 u on behalf of my younger broda.actually his marriage is 1o yrs old but he doesnt av kids yet and dia mother is fast loosing her patience because she said she wants to see all her grand kids from all her children bfor she dies and i see u as a hot blooded sexy girl, trust me my broda is goin to take care of u,he is a managing director in xyz company (a prominent company in naija ) he is comfortable,if u want his barren wife to leave d house 4 u,i can make dat happen,i know how to manoevre situations 2 ur favour, all i just want is for my broda to av kids',afta he finished talkin he said in yoruba,so what do u have to say concerning all ive been saying and i said ' shey e gbadun, shey oriyin pe sha, early in d morning u are lookin 4 a gal dat will brek ur brodas marriage.am nt interested in polygamy or breakin peoples home to talke advantage of dia problems and as am talkin to u stand up and get lost bfor i embarass u here,i am shuttin my eyes, bfor i open it,if i still see u here,i will thoroughly disgrace u,and bfor i opened my eyes d idiot had disappeared.assumin i was lustin afta money or because dis man is driving a flashy car n livin in a flashy house i must take advantage of dia problem, most gals of my age wil agree to marry him knowin who he is in d society, his worth n wot dey stand to gain

Opi - Enugu Community Where Old Women Are Raped By Youngmen

The traditional ruler of Ogbozalla community of OpI Nsukka, (apparently the most affected community), in Nsukka local council, Igwe Fabian Ogbuabo, while briefing the public hearing, said the continuous Molestation of old women in his domain was caused by the women's non-compliance with the payment of N100 security levy.

"The women were told to pay N100 each as security levy to prevent them from being Molested, since they are the targets, but they refused paying and this has made the Neighbourhood Watch to relax in the performance of ensuring the safety of their lives" the Igwe, is one-time Secretary to the Enugu State Government (SSG).

Family › Re: Married Women Using Their Father's Name As Middle Name by dayokanu(m): 4:53pm On Aug 24, 2012
tendercharles: Its now a normal trend among married ladies, they dont completely replace their father's name with their husband's name. I believe the husband should be in full possession of the woman after wedding but she, still having to use her father name creates a notion that she still 'partly' belongs to her father. I can't allow my wife to retain father's name after our wedding oo. What do you guys think?
OP, Interesting. So if the wife is in full possesion of the Husband, Who would the husband be in full possesion of?

I would like to be in full possesion of some women here like Kobojunkie, sisikill, Jennykadry, tpia and those stubborn ones. After they are in my POSSESION, Am I allowed to put ropes on their neck and tie them to the stick backyard. Stuff their mouth with cloth and flog them mercilessly when they dont listen to their owner and masters.

After marriage are they also allowed to keep their brain or that must be removed too?

Op,

Its a series of wrongs.

Marriage is not by force thats the first thing.

If the husband thinks the Wife shouldnt get a BB and the wife thinks the BB is very important they can talk about the way forward for their marriage

If the Wife got a BB and the husband doesnt like it that he was disobeyed (Like God cheesy) they can also talk about the way forward.

If the wife has a BB and she is chatting with her ex they can also talk about it and decide on the way forward Maybe she wants to be with the Ex or the husband

Smashing the phone is a violent act. smashing the phone could have turned things awry. The girl could have slapped him and a series of punching would start which might injure or kill someone and the Bottom line of why your eyes are swollen, your teeth removed or someone dies is BLACKBERRY.

BTW. What happened to discussing issues over or are the couple both DEAF and DUMB

*Winks at Kobo in acknowledgement*

chaircover: So why then must he marry a particular girl especially if they are not going to see each other for "n" number of years. Doesn't that alone defeat the whole purpose of marriage which is for companionship? Cant they both find someone else. Besides what kind of married life can you have with a virtual stranger? You dont even know if he leaves the toilet seat up after a pee, presses the toothpaste from the middle or he has smelly feet lipsrsealed
I gave 2 scenarios one both of them are already together abroad and the one at home is just the traditional because they both cant come home.

2. One partner in Nigeria one abroad and the one in Nigeria can get a visa (syudent, visiting etc) to go live with the other but the other cant come over.

^^ I understand what you are saying and Its just sad.

Boyloaf, Tompolo, Asari would become billionaires but what of the ordinary man on the street of Yenagoa, Warri and Ogoni land what would he hang on to later.

If This govt build a 3rd mainland type bridge, Good road, water supply and other amenities can not be taken from them for life
While a new govt might even put those Asari and co in Jail an take the wealth from them a la Ibori

All the money Arthur Nzeribe, Arisekola, Mamman Kontagora made from IBB don dey finish but its the 3rd mainland bridge, Abuja-Kaduna road etc that last

We Southerners have no right to complain about Northerner if after OBJ and GEJ rule, they cant improve the lives of their own people

Eziachi: You can hardly blame them, as no one knew about basic amenities in the creeks when others had been siphoning the same money for close to 46 years and now its their turn, we are telling them about being reasonable. It doesn't work like that.
Wait until its the turn of the Igbos proper, if ever, that is.
But we Southerners claim that when northerners rule, they find a way of awarding road contracts and developmental projects to themselves.

In addition to the derivation of the Niger Delta, A Special money is also being given to militants.

If after Jonathans regime, the Life of the Niger Deltan has still not improved then who is to blame
Politics › Re: Salaries Of Niger-delta Militant Warlords Revealed by dayokanu(m): 9:08pm On Aug 23, 2012
In the last 3 yrs that means these 4 guys have collected over $100m

If the pump this $100m into the creeks and provide good water, schools and basic amenities, i am sure the inhabitants would have a better life than dishing money out to a group of miscreants

How does someone like nelson avoid whatever befell him? The numerous death in "one chance" how do you avoid them? The young men who were killed in Enugu for rituals How do you avoid that? The men who killed Cynthia and who have succeded in drugging 6 other women, nko?

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Issues In Dangote’s Graduate Drivers Scheme By Jarus by dayokanu(m): 6:15pm On Aug 23, 2012
AjanleKoko: Who said anything about pride? Pride has nothing to do with it.
I just think, if you take up a job like that, you are not likely to either go back to school, or even find another line of work.

Think about how many graduates that end up driving danfos. How many of them ever make it out of that profession? Some lines of work in Nigeria are just, well, nasty.
Well, I think paying your bills is the first aim of anyone in Life. If driving Danfos can pay your bills and get you a better life better do it instead of waiting till when someone would give you what you desire.

What does Nigeria have to offer a graduate of Sociology, Anthropology, philosophy etc Most of them work in things that dont relate to what they studied in school.

My own is that anything that brings a honest income do it first and Dangote providing a means of livelihood is not doing anything wrong here.

Which do you consider more nasty, Danfo driving or using young pretty women as marketers to chase deposits in banks (You know what that usually leads to)
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Issues In Dangote’s Graduate Drivers Scheme By Jarus by dayokanu(m): 5:58pm On Aug 23, 2012
AjanleKoko: It's still better. You guys are talking like driving a Mack Truck from Lagos to Kano is the same as serving out meat pie at Mr Biggs.
If it is just a subsistence job, I will serve the meatpies, and have some free time to pursue whatever I want to do next.
On the average a truck driver spends 2-3 days driving from Lagos to Kano. They do maybe 8-10 trips in a month. Do the math. You spend virtually all your time on the road, exposed to crooked cops, bandits, and terrible roads. For 50 grand naira? I think not, pally.
So tell me how someone serving meatpie is better when he earns less and might not be able to save up to go back to school.

If its about pride, Both jobs are not what they both desired. But the driver can earn enough to quit and go about his further education or business
