A thread was opened by some of Retardeen Jonathans followers a year ago which claimed Benin ore road has been fixed see below https://www.nairaland.com/644476/benin-ore-road-been-fixed. Some months later the same person came back to admit he was lying that it was part of the spin and sell tactics of the administration and supporters PapaBrowne: ^^^ |

usbcable: @dayoAfter the second legs and its certain we are meeting. We would have more analysis. You know Bayern has a very good record vs Madrid |
Center Defence: I trust Pepe and Ramos to shut down Gomez. They’re fast and physical enough to do that. The problematic guy is Müller if he starts. He is the other two footed guy who does unexpected at times which results in goals. Ramos reads the game very well, he’ll have to have an eye on him all the time. CBs area is where Real Madrid will try to damage them the most. Key points: Boateng is a superb defender but rather unexperienced. Badstuber is slow. Both of them struggle with high balls for some reason although they’re tall. Any type of crossing or hoofing may cause trouble for them. Now, the guys who may win Real the tie are Benzema and Özil. They both should make runs in the space between Badstuber+Alaba or Badstuber+Boateng to cause errors. Bayern have a strange way of poistioning which allows the AM a little bit too much space. Özil has to exploit it. Like I said, those two spaces sandwiched around Badstuber is the key to hit them hard. Either by through balls, hoofball or making runs to distort their formations. Why Benzema and Özil? The other two will be busy keeping the flanks quiet. Midfield: While we have the most creative guy out there (Özil) they have a combo of Schweinsteiger+Kroos. They may not be as creative as our Nemo but they’ll have more chances to create thanks to possession. Again, Kroos or Müller both are annoying. Each of them changes Bayern game completely and on top of it both of them are two footed unpredictable players. Kroos is very dangerous because Xabi and Khedira tend to leave the advanced defending to Ramos+Pepe, this guy can shoot from all over the place when given an inch of space. His passing range and accuracy are other problems. If Müller starts, Real will have a little bit more possession but he offers Bayern mobility and penetration through off the ball runs ( very intelligent). The most annoying one is , of course, Schweinsteiger. Xabi and Khedira would do well to sit a little bit deeper, they aren’t going to bully him. This is the guy who’ll make our life difficult. Bayern wouldn’t be a problem, we have better goal scorers and an extremly creative AM but all of them are useless with little possession. I don’t really know how to stop him with the players we have. If you tail him with Özil we won’t be able to create goals. It’s better to ignore him and close his passing lines for interception. Let Özil do his job against Badstuber+ friends. Overall, their midfield is superior to ours. That’s the area which could lose us the game. We don’t have the tools to shut them down there. Set Pieces: Both teams are exceptional at set pieces and struggle at their own. Bayern scored a lot of goals from them, the main culprits are Kroos and Gomez. For Real madrid, Özil and Ramos. I expect them to get more set pieces so the situation has to be sorted out ( Real’s defence) if They’ll encounter them in quarters. Fouls around the penalty area are a big no go. On the other end, Real should try to get fouls as much as possible to exploit their set pieces. Conclusion: The game is 50/50 because our goal scorers are much more effective than theirs otherwise we’d lose. |
Now into details, I’ll analyze the wings+fullbacks separately because both teams are quite similar in their approaches through the wings. Left wing: Robben+Lahm combo vs. CR7+Coentrao / Marcelo While Robben is pretty predictable, his overlapping exploits with Lahm are dangerous. Lahm plays like old again after he was moved back to the right. He is unpredictable in attack. Imagine him like a Marcelo with slightly less attacking capabilities and much more defensive awareness. CR7 needs to pin him back just like Alves. Unfortunately, each time Portugal met Germany, CR7 switched the wings because he couldn’t do any damage on Lahm’s side. Unless CR7 doesn’t go into CF position don’t expect a lot of damage by him. Robben needs to be shut down by a solid defender. My choice would be Coentrao, Real really need a defender here first. Overall, Real Madrid are slightly at disadvantage because they’ll have more possession=> more overlaps etc. As soon as they come towards middle line CR7+Coentrao should disturb them as much as possible. Right wing: Ribery is a two footed dribbler with a decent pace. He is very aggressive. He’ll beat any fullback 2-3 in a game so a fullback alone won’t be enough to stop him, we’ll need Di Maria to cover just in case. There’s a new problem though. They have a very versatile player called Alaba. He’s got Di Maria like stamina, is very aggressive in 1 on 1s, is fast, can dribble past people, you can’t bully him easily and tactically sound. Of all the times, they tried him as leftback in their last 2 games. He was rock solid and even provided help for Ribery. Whoever starts as rightback for us he’ll need Di Maria fulltime to shut down that flank. Overall: I don’t expect Di Maria or CR7 to initiate a breakthrough unless they’ll get lucky. If Real Madrid manage to shut down both flanks they’ll be a step closer to victory because that’s Bayern’s main asset. |
I came across this on the Baverianfootballworks website. A RM fan gave his two cents about our potential encounter: Analysis of a possible FC Bayern vs. Real Madrid Encounter Posted on March 16, 2012 I know both teams pretty well. With all due respect towards Apoel and Olympique de Marseille I think we could analyze the possible encounter between the two sides Where to begin, Bayern and Barca are FCB’s which means annoying possession football sides Don’t expect Real Madrid to top possession stats unless they press them like crazy for one half and take a beating in the other. Their passing is worse than Barca, not as fast and technical BUT Real Madrid will lose their physical edge. Besides Lahm and Ribery who are exceptional in 1 on 1s all other guys are 180cm+. You can’t bully them, Real Madrid have to outplay their team. Another thing, less possession means that Real Madrid will have little control over the game. We’ll need luck on counters. Fortunately, Real Madrid are the best counter attacking side out there. I expect los Merenges to win based on their finishing quality. |

coogar: trust me, dayokanu is a laboratory retard! This coming from someone who said Torres has been Chelseas best player of the season, We know how much weight the comment carried |
and the retardd has displayed again. He brought out the definitions yet still argues again inconsequential - lacking worth or importance; How is "Not important" different from "least important"? Ivanovic scored the 3rd goal in the 83rd minute.A striker who scores goal number 10 too can say his 10th goal assured victory as the opponent coulda scored 9 back and drawn the game |
nateevs: This is where you sound really grand stoopid. The joke is on you m0r0n. Dont you notice how you have become the gold standard for stupidity on this thread and everyone looks forward to hearing the next insane statement from you? The scoreline was 4-2. The 4th goal is just the icing on the cake. The real game winner was the 3rd goal which came at a time when Villa were on the up. Oh, You can ask your English teacher how the least important mirrors inconsequential |
I think in Igbo language anyone who whoops their asss is a coward Adekunle who whooped them is a coward, Gowon who defeatd them is a coward, OBJ whom the surrendered to is a coward What a bunch of delusional ppl |
chamotex: Just finished watching the Dortmund vs Stuttgart match . . . what a game!!!Thats the quality of the Bundesliga which shows theres to German league than Bayern |
He scored the least important goal today. An inconsequential one. Without the goal, the game would still have been won. Scoring a 4th goal in the very last minute means very little in the grand scheme of things |
coogar: yes - the 4th goal broke the resolve.Of all goals scored today, that goal was the least important |
nateevs: What are you talking about Dayo?Ivanovics goal came at a time when Chelsea was down and Aston Villa was in the ascendancy Torres scored a good goal but his goal was the least important in todays win |
@DK there was a tym MARIO GOMEZ did not score a GOAL for more than a year.in short he was about to b loaned out/sold then luck finalli smiled @ him wen dat croatian stryker got injured giv el nino tym he wil perform(mos tyms i wish he were playin 4 UTD) 4 mi HE IS NO 1 IN D LEAGUE eniday enitym
LOL, Please what year between what time and what time did Mario Gomez not score a goal? Or this is the typical premiership fan lack of knowledge about football? |
nateevs: If Torres missed the chance and in that time Villa scored a goal to equalize, would you have blamed Torres for not securing the win?Same analogy for the striker who scored in a 10-0 win. The most important goals today were scored by Ivanovic and Sturridge Torres goal was a welcome bonus |
What a slowpoke. A 4th goal in the 94th min was what broke the resolve? What should Ivanovic who scored the winning goal or Sturridge who opened scoring say? |
