1. As an ex-employee of Arthur Andersen (myself), I KNOW that Tinubu couldn't have been employed in that foremost firm if he had questionable academic qualifications!

DTaj: 2. Having been an Accountant and having rose to the position of the Treasurer at Mobil Nigeria, he couldn't have had a phoney background! Mobil is a well respected multinational for God sake and the Treasurer position in most organizations- banking, manufacturing, FMCG, etc (let alone a MOBIL is a top management position)!

DTaj: 3. A man who scored a CGP (American format) of 3.54 out of 4.0 (equivalent of British First Class!!!) couldn't have been the 'agbero' people easily ascribe to him!

DTaj: 4. Again, Tinubu couldn't have worked in these highly respected global companies if he was a moral and intellectual nincompoop: Deloitte Haskins and Sells- now called Deloitte Haskins and Touche- (where he did auditing and management consultancy assignments for top organizations- General Motors, First National Bank of Chicago, Procter and Gamble, International Harvester, GEC and other Fortune 500 firms), GTE Service Corporation.

DTaj: 5. If one did a deliberate study of the people Tinubu's party, ACN, brought up as candidates, you cannot but respect the man! For instance, Gov. Fayemi of Ekiti has a Ph.D. from University of London and has remarkable international recognition among civil society groups; Gov. Ajimobi of Oyo was MD/CEO at National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell; Gov. Aregbesola of Osun is a Chartered Engineer; Gov. Oshiomhole of Edo needs no introduction as Nigeria's most pragmatic and eloquent (and probably the most briliant) NLC President bar Hassan Sunmonu, and is a self-made man who attended Ruskin College, Oxford; Gov. Amosun of Ogun is an ICAN Fellow-FCA- (since 1996!) and has an accounting firm which he established in 1990!

coogar: yes, he has been.
thankfully, roberto di matteo listened to my tactical analysis and has stuck mata permanently behind torres.
we are beginning to see the old torres with a good supporting cast and sturridge has learnt to pass lately.
in a game where you said torres was inconsequential, he scored a goal and supplied 2 assists.

PointB: How exactly did Soludo create the bubble? And what correlation does it have with Sanusi calling Capital Market stock trading activities 'gambling'?

PapaBrowne: Why all this pessimism. We are seeing for the first time something we've never seen in this country!! Even if they just spray paint the place, it surely does call for some kind of commendation. That there is work going on at all gives us a reason to smile!!

We all hail Fashola, but if we must face the truth, Lagos is a huge mess and he has barely scratched the surface of a decay that runs deep within, but still we all know to commend the miniscule things he has done!! The same way we commend Fashola for the almost nothing he is doing, is the same way we should commend the FG for the little they are doing to provide us with better airports!! This pessimism will not lead us anywhere. Where there is good, we must commend, where there is bad, we must condemn. Its simple!

nakedall: Thanks to Awolowo that free the Ibos! otherwise, Ojukwu leadership should have been generation to generation. Imagine someone that killed her husband owing to her se.xual need still talking and also Ibos dey listening.
