Yes, I killed your dad to save you.

I just laugh at Yorubas who boast about the war.

They did nothing. Their land was under Northern control.

That is why the "counter-coup" was very successful in their region, but not in the East or Mid-West.

The loudest person in the room is the weakest. That sums up many of their brethren.
Exactly. They had very little impact on the war but yet they are the ones constantly boasting about the war.
^^ they are non entities in war yet Adekunle made mince meat of your people

This interview with the most important man in the Nigerian war took place at night. Whisky and beer were abundant, uniformed go-go girls played DJ, Adekunle danced and petted his mascot, a small mountain goat named "Ojukwu".
Above is what a foreigner has to say. See the bolded about the so called war non entity

I hope every Niger Deltan reads your Odi comment.

Your post was ok, until you justified the destruction and violation of Odi.
So we shouldnt denounce criminal acts because they were done by in Odi?

In case you dont know about Odi read up

In early November a group of lawless elements who had taken refuge in the area was reported to have abducted six policemen. It was later reported that despite the intervention of social movements in the Niger Delta and elsewhere in the country and Bayelsa State government officials, the law officers were killed by the hoodlums. This was then followed by President Obasanjo issuing a 14-day ultimatum to the government of Bayelsa State to produce the miscreants, or he Obasanjo will proclaim a state of emergency.

Chilling description of the killing of Soldiers and Policemen by Niger Delta thugs

As  they fled, the hoodlums encountered  some soldiers along Harbour road, Yenagoa.  The unsuspecting military men were  mowed down. Life seemed to return to normal  after that bloody clash in Yenagoa.  However, two months after, CSP Jokotola, a  Yoruba 'with heavy facial tribal marks'  from Ipetumodu in Ife North Local  Government Area surfaced in Odi, with  six other policemen, on 'special duty.' The  hoodlums who had retreated to that  town, pounced on him and his colleagues.  Their corpses were discovered days  after.

Below was what the governor of bayelsa State had to say

Bayelsa State Government has denied that the deployment of soldiers to the crisis-torn Odi community in the state was an indication that a state of emergency would soon be proclaimed in the town.

It said that the move was meant to flush out criminal elements who had in recent times kidnapped and in some instances killed policemen and their security agents.

Chief press secretary to the governor Mr. Norman Morris, who explained the situation yesterday in an interview with Daily Champion, said that activities of these elements were portraying the state in bad light, "hence the need to get rid of the criminals.

The group has morphed into something else. Yar'Adua faced an enemy that had a fixed location. That is why it was so easy to kill their leader.

This new Boko Haram does not have a fixed location, but has different cells just like Al-Qaeda. This is a much more dangerous foe.

We do not even know if it is the same group, but another that uses the same name.
What was their fixed location during Yar Adua?

When Boko Haram attacked from Yobe, Borno, bauchi and Gombe during his regime

Yar Adua battled his own terror in Boko Haram now Jonathan is claiming this one is bigger than him. What a shame, What a sorry excuse for a president

Your citizens who voted you are being killed where is the decisiveness? When 9-11 happened we could all feel the anger in Bush and the determination to do something

When MEND thugs attacked Nigerian soldiers in Odi we could see the decisiveness from OBJ,
When Maitsaisane attacked during Buhari we all saw swift action
but during the regime of Retardeen we all see is excuses How he is helpless, How we have to endure it till Boko gets tired

And those that think this is a Northern problem you are mistakened, a Catholic church was attacked, You know that its mainly Easterners that are predominantly Catholics.

This is a huge problem, time to take decisive action and not like Retardeen advised, wait for Boko to get tired

Your barbaric people are killing innocent worshipers in their houses of worship!  angry

When did MEND bomb places of worship?

They had a noble cause and that was to end the pollution and neglect of the Niger Delta.

There is a reason why MEND was never labeled terrorist, but Boko Haram is recognized as a terrorist organization in the West.
Do people killed in place of worship rank higher than people killed in their homes on the street, In their places of work, In their day to day activities by MEND?

When we have a President who chose to excuse a terror organisation in MEND, rather became their spokesman when people were killed in October 1

Imagine innocent people killed and some animals are yelling its the North? is the North our President?

When Maitsaisane started did Buhari blame the north? When Boko Haram started did Yar Adua excuse anyone?

But when we have a clueless Id10t as president who would excuse terrorist actions because they are his brothers from the creeks

How many lives do we need to lose in this country before the voted President stands up and act!!

So basically you are saying the Niger Deltans are in support of the numerous MEND killings in the country?

yet you have the cojones to blame Northerners for what you admitted Niger Deltans did.

Well from that logic we can say Niger Deltans were the first people to support killing of innocent Nigerians in the name of agitation and struggle for whatever

cap28:
oh really - were you and your niger delta people also in agreement with the bombings perpetrated by MEND and kidnappings of oil sector expatriates because if you were, then you  have no moral right to stand in judgement on  boko haram.
so MEND were fighting against oppression were they?

but boko haram are also fighting against oppression - does it mean that MEND can kidnap and kill but boko haram can't?
Excellent points.

The moment the President started making excuse for a terror group, the tone was already set and its unfortunate the route Retardeen has taken and where it has landed us.

Buhari crushed maitsaisane, Yar Adua crushed Boko Haram when they first started. The moment we started rewarding acts of terror with Presidential excuses

Drogba had a one on one with Stockdale from a long Luiz pass and he passes back to the keeper

Drogba freekick stopped bravely by Stockdale.

Drogba pulled more saves and was more of an attacking threat in 15mins than Torres(His first half shot) in 90mins

Except contrary to what you are trying to paint, Sturrige has not done that all game. Instead, he's picked out the more flamboyant option - which often ends up rubbish - than a simple one which many times, would have been more effective.
I feel it should be either Drogba or Torres.

They both have similar instincts and would occupy same spots in the field, Make similar runs and end up having a null effect

Any form of creativity now must come from Mata alone cos Malouda cant really offer much in that aspect

That's exactly what I mean. Of what use is stating that a footballer passes to an opponent in an attacking position?
Unless you are stating it's the first of it's kind, what is the use?

I have watched Torres for 70mins so far and his ball control has been nothing short of top notch and very far away from someone who's suffering from confidence or "perfected the art" as you put it.

That pal, is not objectivity.
You mean when an attacking move breaks down everytime this guy touches the ball except for the one that bounced off him. We should ask is he the first person to do that?

Even he isnt the first striker to be in such horrible form lasting about 2yrs now Before the last world cup

Some people reason like they are drunk. Did MEND ever go about bombing mosques? Did they say they were fighting for God? Slow thinkers.
Some people on NL are simply retardeed

What difference does it make where the people are killed?

Innocent people are killed and you are more concerned about the location where they were killed?

Does it matter if MEND bombs Ashi Joints? Does it make them better than Boko who bombed churches?

The people killed on October 1 were they killed in churches or Mosque or does that make it better than does killed in Churches, Mosques etc?

The President words were sound enough, but the words in that particular sentence were not the best, they sound even worse when taken out of context for mischief; however what he meant is clear and the fuller posts of his words that I made shows that.
What the Retardeen said is simple and has echoed his opinion ever since this Boko Haram started

"We shouldnt panic because terror activities happen all over the world"

Now

"the issue of bombing is one of the burdens we must live with. It will not last forever; I believe that it will surely be over," he said."

His solution is simple for us to wait and endure it, When Boko haram tires, they would stop

He did struggle to control the ball - which by the way is not a Torres invention - but not "struggle and struggle" as you put it.
The premise of your post was derogation not objectivity. Name me one footballer who has never struggled to control a simple ball.
Who said struggling was a Torres invention? Only that he seemed to have perfected the art.

Missing goals, sulking, and generally being crap are not his inventions either

As we speak, Torres pass to the opponent in an attacking position (Not his invention too)

How is Sultans outlook to Boko Haram different from Jonathans to MEND

Since supposed leaders have made themselves spokesmen for terrorist groups, this country is in trouble

Maybe the Sultan would now invite Boko Haram for Tea and breakfast just like Jonathan did to MEND

Really sad that the lives of Nigerians is now what this administration chose to play with

Even though it was a Torres assist and he had his back to goal with 2 defenders on him and Mata was facing goal and had all the right to take a shot. There's nothing wrong is having an opinion but just be objective.
A Torres assist would be what the stats tell us but actually watching the game would show us that he struggled to control the ball and it bounced off him fortunately to the path of Mata who did justice to it.

Watching the game does a lot more good than depending on stats sheet.

This statement reminds me of

MEND did not commit that atrocity, I know MEND, My fathers house was beside an Oil rig

MEND is not a terrorist group," the President said.

``The Niger Delta people are aware of the government's noble efforts to assuage the suffering and deprivation in that region.

``I am from the Niger Delta, my father's house is few metres from an oil-well, so nobody can claimto be a Niger Deltan than myself."

MEND, yesterday, claimed responsibility for the attacks. A few minutes before the blasts, the group sent an email to journalists and media companies warning of the impending violence.
