I advice the FG and SG to engage the Youths for solutions. The Youths will bring in solutions through technologies. The Youths that earn in dollars can start/set up a system that trains millions of other youths on how to earn in
dollars too. Imagine 30 million Nigerian youths making an average of $300 monthly from foreign companies and systems legitimately.

Empower the Nigerian youths, they have the brains and can provide this solution.

See how the naira is just moving :

Naira will gain massively to about #900 if cardoso pulls the right strings... I pray it does fall

VAT is still 7.5% today.

Vat is still 7.5% how? Don't you see how foolish this sounds? Tinubu opined that we pay 1.5% on tax for each liter of fuel purchased and this was protested. A lot of taxation was introduced by Tinubu which he eventually reneged on and tax can't be 7.5%, this doesn't make any sense to a reasonable mind. Tax can't be same for everything across board. So high income earners don't pay higher taxes in Nigeria (but only in UK US...)? VAT is not related to price of goods?what is VAT then? So what is inflation? Was tax rate (either VAT or other ones) increased in Nigeria? So US, UK, Canada that recently experienced high inflation slashed their VAT equivalent because
there's inflation?
Your comrades also writing balderdash! Like supporters, like candidate! Empty!

I didn't at any point say Nigerian don't have high tax brackets, increase in vat is not relative to increase in price, that's what I said. You don't increase tax because of inflation or increase in price of goods and service. Common economics u dey speak plenty grammar.

the greatest handicap a person can have is to be willfully ignorant. Marry what I just taught you to this attached below and see if all of this mumbo jumbo you wrote makes any sense.

Read a little, it helps. You are clearly ignorant of the fact that just about everything you buy has VAT built into it, including bank charges.

Shiior

A day old kid knows there's tax on virtually everything here in Nigeria and you're running from pillar to post now. You based your tax whatever on goods purchased and not on the power of the person purchasing said goods. I've given you UK and Dubai as example to help ur understanding but you still fail to comprehend simple explanation.
You don't increase vat based on increase in the price of goods. Increase in the price of goods is dependent on the law of supply and demand and is not relative to tax. When there's low supply, there 'll be high demand which in turn inflates the price of goods but this doesn't mean automatic increase in vat.
Take Garri for example, garri is now more expensive than it should ever be, what sense is there to increase tax on garri when there's already increase in price of transportation and logistics of the garri and the purchasers have low purchasing power? Increasing tax will only make sense when you increase their salary, that's how it works. Imported goods are cleared by paying import duties, this duties are added to the cost of goods by the importers and then distributed and like that it's covered in bits by the consumers. So each time you purchase anything you pay tax. Now increasing tax automatically cos there's an increase in price is not relative. Tax is relative to purchasing power and where goods are subsidized. The UK, US, Canada subsidize a lot for their citizens and get it back by taxing them. Now this tax is higher for those in the higher class than lower class.

Can Nigerians really use their brains and realize that bigotry is actually doing them no good.
Reno takes his time to look for props against P.O and then let both of y'all agbado and Obidients fight yourselves. Is this what y'all want? Are you zombies?
Reno praised P.O for his good Job in the area of education in Anambra early last year or so as Anambra students kept winning competitions and highest in Waec and Jamb then they fall out he turns around to start attacking him and we don't even see what he's really trying to do.
P.O improved all existing schools and donated necessary materials. P.O brought our state university to standard, he didn't have to start a new one. There's absolutely no need for it. This is why this people will keep playing us. They loot money, then at the tail end they start one elephant project and use it as a send off which is then left to rot by the successive government. U see how a governor was busy destroying projects built with citizens tax in Kano.
Starting a new project is not bad but the existing ones should be taken care of. There's no maintenance culture in Nigeria then we wonder how the western countries y'all run to is beautiful.
A lot of elephant projects rotting away in different states in Nigeria cos each successive government just want to loot and then build one project that the next government either demolish or abandon.
What's going on with the cargo airport in Anambra since soludo came in? Obiano built it so he won't want to improve it cos it wasn't built by his own government. What then happens? They rot away, money wasted. Very stupid.

it is law of common sense. If vat is 10% and the item you used to buy 5000 has increased to 8000, the vat you pay has increased from 500 to 800...

simple sturvs

Do you even understand inflation and how vat actually works? Vat is not relative to inflation but to purchasing power. Increase in price is dependent on supply and demand and vat is not relative to it. Do you even realize that vat is just a government way of making money to run the government? That's why in countries like UK you have high taxation and it's those in the higher salary class that pays more. So having a high end job means higher tax and then countries like Dubai there's almost no tax. Tax is just a means for the government to raise money to cater for the needs of its citizens so if at all now the government no longer subsidize fuel, Naira and electricity the tax should drop.

Politics / Re: Reno Criticizes Obi's $30 million Brewery Instead Of IPP In Anambra by Daystar7: 8:23am On Apr 27
What part of Lagos has 24hrs light after Tinubu and Fashola IPP?
Do they even know the state of Anambra before P.O became Governor? Mbadinuju finished and emptied Anambra treasury, it was Ngige that revived the economy a bit and started paying accrued debt. It was Ngige that actually started the revival of Anambra. Workers and pensioners we're owed for years, a State in that situation won't be thinking of IPP at the time. It's important to know that doctors were also being owed, same as teachers. Obi continued paying off, this debt, increased IGR and lowered cost of governance that offended alot of people. Doctors went on 11 months strike and Obi eventually took his time to meet their demands and cleared all debts they were owed.
They talk about sch built from scratch and completed and I see no sense in it. We can't have dilapidated schs, ignore them and start new ones. This is the mentality of corrupt politicians and lack of continuity. The do few projects in their own name for glory abandoning the existing ones to rot. This shouldn't be the norm. I don't understand Reno's obsession with Obi.
Anambra political atmosphere wasn't great as it is now back then. Anambra was a den of corruption under PDP where massive looting was going on.
Mbadinuju failed to do one single project even in his home town which was why Coou Uli campus was the only thing he could secure for his people after much pleading and Obi let it remain there. Obi renovated old schs, built igbariam and Amaku medical teaching hospital. He mainly worked on existing projects and then added where need be. Now Reno is talking about IPP? Do we even realize how far Lagos is ahead of Anambra. This comparison is unfair in all honesty. I believe P.O could have done better but he really did his bit especially curtailing looting in Anambra and education. Do y'all remember how Mbadinuju had to bring in Bakassi boys to help fight against theft and robbery in Anambra. Anambra was far behind Lagos (former capital) in every index yet Reno is somehow talking about IPP at that time in Anambra while Aba just did theirs from FG not even state.
Brewery is not a bad investment anywhere in the world and in business loss is part of the game and we know the said loss is due to the countries dwindling economy.
The brewery brewery belongs to the government and they can do whatever with it if they feel it's no longer a feasible investment. That's what prof soludo should do. Anambra civil servants are always one of the first to receive their salary in Nigeria, P.O started it has been like that since then, education improved all round from primary to tertiary and we still see its fruits today. Anambra students and professors are world beaters.
P.o wasn't all perfect but he did well relative to his fellows at the time.
Tinubu should offer Reno a job to help his depression.
A foolish Media aide that failed woefully to handle small nobodies like Omojuwa and watched louts bully Jonathan his principal out of government is talking about what he'll do if he was governor. A fool that couldn't do a simple media job effectively. πŸ˜‚

Fuel subsidy removed, fuel now expensive and yet there's still scarcity, Naira floated, now Naira is more volatile than Bitcoin, shady use of the reserve to back it after abusing Emefiele for same thing by agbados, inflation hitting the roof, nothing is improving in the power sector yet electricity subsidy was removed, insecurity persists, farmers can't farm, international business and investors leaving yet it's still Vulnerable Nigerians that they've used to increase IGR. How? This is slavery. Tinubu is just a task master, enriching his cronies at the expense of the fools that actually helped him become president. Chai. Nigerians are truly mentally unstable cos how?

Obidients caused Naira fall how?
Why was Emefiele called all sorts of names and trashed for defending the Naira with dollar just like the former CBN governors before him. We say he printed money but don't mention Buhari who gave him the permission. After all that, they floated the Naira only to see the effect was disastrous partly due to fuel subsidy removal and they went to do the same thing they accused Emefiele for by using our reserve to back the Naira. Are you not supposed to ask questions if you're truly concerned about your country or is it just about ur kinsman being president? You're nothing but a bigot. You don't see how foolish this statement of yours is?
They told us backing the Naira with dollar is bad, criticized Emefiele for it and then go back to do the same thing and we weren't suppose to ask questions? All Nigerians can't become zombie cos u want ur kinsman to be president even at the detriment of your future.

Business / Re: Why Is The Naira Exchange Rate Always In The News by Daystar7: 1:20pm On Apr 25
Naira- Dollar exchange rate is now in the news more regularly cos it's has been floated by a new government that failed to put the necessary measures in place to make it stable. It easy to blame the past government for backing the dollars, which is bad in itself cos it makes the government lazy and comfortable but you have to consider that we produce and export nothing aside crude oil that's stolen everyday recklessly. This crude oil is in turn imported and sold at a subsidized rate. It's important both subsidies are removed but then how you go about it is the most important aspect and requires consultations with the best hands and head available and long term planning.
This is why it's important to elect intelligent and credible hands.
I think Tinubu heard his opponents talk about how they were gonna remove this subsidies and just carelessly did it trying to appear smart without trying to know the intricacies involved. We are not against Tinubu for removing fuel and Naira subsidy but the way and manner it was done. This two things is like air and water to Nigerians and a very delicate part of the lives of Nigerians.
You don't cut off a head cos of headache and that was the approach Tinubu used.
This why destructive criticism is bad and this is the aftermath of engaging in such, the Bible says let him that stand take heed lest he falls and asked us to refrain from judging others. When u get in the habit of judging others u won't see the plank in ur own eyes cos you'll be busy with the speck of dust in the eyes of the criticized. That's the problem of APC. The party campaigned and built its foundation on hate, criticism and bigotry. Go back to the kind of atmosphere Nigeria political atmosphere Nigeria was in 2014 and you will see that the accusations by Bats on Obidients is nothing but child's play. That's how toxic it was. Kids enjoyed watching cartoons mockery of the president and his wives, unnecessary protest every where not born out of true patriotism but dishonest ambition. Subsidy wasn't good for us then and was supposed to be removed but the people who actually knew better lied to Nigerians, decieved the populace just for selfish unpatriotic reasons while things deteriorated badly just to achieve selfish dreams. That's the price we are all paying. I didn't vote as at that time but I was already of voting of voting age then in the university and didn't fully understand what was going on. I thought Jonathan was really bad for the masses to be against him but my happiness was I didn't campaign against him or joined the bandwagon to castigate and mock him. It was during my service year in Katsina that I truly understand who Buhari really was. That man was a true Islamic Jihadist. He wasted the lives of millions of christians in the North cos of loosing elections in 2011. Was supposed to be languishing in jail paying for his crimes but Jonathan paid for his unwillingness to be brave and put him exactly where he belongs. I look back today and i blame him for being too timid. Today you still see him fraternizing with the Men that disrespected and dishonored him. That's to show you the kind of man he's. A puppet! Little wonder his wife was so vocal and too many looting and corruption happened under his very nose. He messed up at every turn due to his inability to put his foot down and stand on business. A faint hearted man. I understand coming from a minority tribe he was surrounded by wolves and instead of toughening up he chose to appease them. The wolves smelt the weakness and came for his blood. Human psych is like that. Men will choose wicked cold blooded dangerous men to lily livered nice men. Buhari removed the subsidy but didn't want to noise about it cos he was part of those that lied about left it into the tenure of his successor to take the hypocrisy and hear off himself and Tinubu became the fall guy. He also took the fall by nailing himself when he made that speech on his inauguration day. He was a bit too anxious to show off his leadership capacity only to self sabotage himself.
Today you hear things like, Tinubu is brave for removing fuel subsidy, what others before him couldn't do. They forget Jonathan did and it was on it they laid the falsehood campaign that hounded him out and Buhari was the person that put it the fuel subsidy removal in place. Tinubu trying to chase vain glory nailed himself with the needless speech of removing fuel subsidy that was already removed by Buhari. This gave me worries cos for Buhari who we saw as "slow" to make such move only for supposed smart Bobo Chicago to take such a fall for Buhari's clandestine move shows someone isn't really as smart as they claimed. Instead of taking his time to see how far the impact of that inglorious speech will go he also hurriedly floated the Naira putting everything into a total frenzy of chaos.
Today everything seems shady cos money saved from subsidy should increase our reserve but we see the opposite. Naira is being backed, same thing others was criticized for same as fuel subsidy cos fuel ought not to be less than #1200 without subsidy. Now we see a lot of cosmetic approach by the CBN, trying to force the Naira down which is why it's not reflecting on the market cos there's no fundamentals to put the technical and sentimental analysis in place. A very wrong and chaotic approach.
Buying and selling the dollar is now a very volatile venture to go into which is why I've split my Naira and USD holdings in two. I know USD will always remain a safe haven but I know not to see it as an investment cos with the current approach by the CBN and the economic team we can wake up a $ for #300 only to see same $ for #2500 the next day. It has become a complete chaotic economic atmosphere.
Nothing has been done so far to restore sanity and organization just propaganda, continuous borrowing and new projects while the existing ones in need of maintenance are left to rot.

Nigerians and the youths especially should shun ethnoreligious bigotry and ask for good governance. I'm Obidients, but Tinubu is the president but that doesn't mean I'll partake in destroying the country cos Obi is not the president today. If we destroy it today what will Obi work on if he eventually becomes president.
We must not tow the APC path, it's very dangerous. APC should as a matter of fact start doing something tangible in the aspect of Power generation, and security then agriculture and manufacturing for export esp turning out abundant minerals to finished products for export. Stop creating new projects and work on improving existing ones.
I feel they should have worked on the old refineries and allowing private investors to run it while the government shadows the operations. The likes of Adenuga, Otedola, Ibeto, Dangote can be the investors instead of giving Dangote subsidized forex to build a private refinery adding our crude oil to his monopolistic conglomerates. Naira- USD is now more volatile than Bitcoin and that's is bad for the country. I'm a forex trader who majors on EURUSD currency. So I know what I'm saying

Romance / Re: Why Is It That Most Ladies Don't Want To Date Or Marry Their Age Mates? by Daystar7: 11:53am On Apr 25

Women can date any age hence he is financially stable.
Women are simply mini children

You're right but not entirely right. Women always go for men better than them, being successful makes you attractive as a man but they'll always choose an older man with money than a boy who's successful if they have the options. She wants you to be better than her in every aspect and completely dominate her.

This shouldn't be a topic to be debated by sane minds...
Back when we was in sec sch. I had a crush on this dark hairy girl with big ass, we was still in SS1, she liked me too but wouldn't be with me the way I wanted. SS3 guys 'll come around and be with them and it made me mad and jealous. I saw the SS3 guys as predators cos why won't they leave our girls alone and be with those their class. I was so disturbed I discussed it with her one day, I asked her why them girls didn't give us their class the kind of attention they gave to the guys in the senior class and she said it's nature. She said those guys in higher class are more responsible, experienced and older and they can handle them better than we their mates. She said we might truly be mates but we not really mates. Women appreciates and depreciates faster. Since then I understood how the dynamics of the male and female relationship works. A woman can hardly love a man without respecting him first. Difference in Age makes it easier. Men's love language is respect, women knows this, it's one of the ways they flirt. If she likes you she'll greet you and maybe stop if you hesitate to shoot ur shot at her. It's the same in Animals too, age, size, strength, skill all plays a role. An alpha within a pride has all the bitches within the pride same way a Man with skills (Money) is an Alpha too. The skill can be leadership, you notice pastors, Imams, politicians, successful businessmen, doctors, musicians and entertainers (Artists) generally gets a lot of female attention. Age is a major factor in the dynamics of human interaction. Women also age faster esp when they start reproducing. So as a man it's very wise to develop yourself first, be a Man other women want and she'll want you too and always invest in yourself while investing in ur woman to stay ahead. If you uplift your woman above you, you've played yourself cos those men above her will notice her and she'll be naturally attracted to them and seeing you're below her will bring resentment and she'll more than likely leave. It's Life!

they should stop using our reserve to stabilizer Naira.

this problem can be solved within 2 years if we pay attention to agriculture.

The government should disburse grants to farmers nationwide and setup committee to monitor the grant beneficiaries.

by next harvest, food will be plentiful and their will be food surplus.

Farmers can't access their farms, those that have access can't reap without paying ransom to Fulani's and you here talking about grants. Think
