Hi guys, thanks for the previous responses. I want to apply for masters (architecture) in Switzerland and right now the biggest challenge seems to be the blocked account amount because honestly, i can't gather that much (8 mil). However, before now, i always had my mind on Germany (TU Munich) but due to my desire to study in one of the QS10 rankings, i decided to try ETH Zurich, the cheapest among the rest. so my question is, will a letter from a swiss citizen suffice (as in Germany's requirements) or it really has to be a blocked account parole?.
Also, how easy is it to have a fully funded scholarship to pursue masters degree in swiz, especially ETH ZURICH ? . Thanks all.

MrEbony: I used my student copy to apply (personal use) which is sufficient in most cases, local: to other Nigerian Universities and international also known as official can only be sent by your school in a sealed envelope directly to the University you have nominated them to send it to or sometimes it can be handed over to you to take it to your school when travelling, you are not expected to open it by the way . You only need to do this if your school request for an official transcript.
I hope this helps. really #1300 transcript is acceptable?.. {singing and dancing } thanks a bunch. |

jejet: May be YES, Maybe NO..germany is a Federation and school politics and administration is not a national politics; however, Baden-Würtenberg was the last state to scrap University tuition fee (Both German and foreigners all paid tutitiin before) to attract more young voters. The politics may not be very simple and Germany is going an election year; The Green party (ruling party in Baden-Würtenberg) needs the youth vote to stay in the coalition when a new government is formed and with the right wing movement and the introduction of tuition, they may fall out of the equation. so its only Baden-Würtenberg state that has adopted the tuition fees ryt? munich and the likes are yet to adopt the rule. hp am corect. |

Arizona263: It's not a must that you must learn the language in Goethe Institut, since you are running out of time, why not look for other private language centers around you where you can learn German and then later you can go and write the exam at Goethe Institut lagos, I have studied German from A1 to B1, if you think it's something you can learn on your own, then you are wrong, ofcourse the youtube videos and the duolingo app is still very important, but if you really wanna pass the German language exams, just respect the language and get your self registered in a German class, missing a single comma or any puntuation mark in a sentence is already a very big error you won't wanna make in your schreiben, am not even gonna talk about hören or sprechen yet. Then lesen? Hmmmm. Ofcourse, it's just an opinion of mine. Others are welcome to give you their own opinion. tank you so much. i don reason am...currently searching for a tutor.. One mre tin, hope B1 is okay for study? |

hello guys, once again am here to seek help. as i said before, i plan on applying next year and i need b1 or b2 cert for language proficiency proof. i tried contacting goethe few weeks back hoping that i could enrol during this sch break period buh i was told that there aint space anymre and i should wait till jan nxt year. i definitely dont av time due to sch resumption so i concluded that i will just register for exam in goethe institute and study on my own which is the hard part. i started last week, went to youtube and downloaded some series, also got duolingo app. to cut my epistle short, i need materials that can help me from my bosses that passed through my stage either at the institute or on their own or better still if any1 wants to recommend a book/pdf for me;i will be grateful....i have to understand this frigging lang b4 march nxt year. Danke. |
