LordReed: Not quite the case. One of the reasons Blackberry subscriptions are cheaper is because the compression allows the device to use less time on the network resources. This is the same reason Opera Mini plans are also cheap however Blackberry has a further incentive for the Telecos because there is profit sharing involved which is not available for Opera Mini. It is also why night plans are cheaper in that they occur during a time period when network resources are less in demand.This the same with what I said you just explained while I did not.The fact is that the compression is done using blackberry's servers and so the data allocation isn't using a high number of network resources on the ISPs' end and isn't heavy on their servers. |

Lexusgs430: I never went to school, you the professor, teach me Android matters as you promised to.Oga you get time o.I am willing to bet my left testicle that the other guy doesn't own a note and has probably not even used one.It is mostly people who came from using blackberry phones on OS 7.1 and below that are just completely wowed by the android ecosystem when there isn't even root access.I personally cannot imagine not being a superuser on my own android phone. |

Using an ip4sFirst of all,what IOS are you running on your 4S?Is it jailbroken? If it is what tweaks or apps did you install? Let's start with this questions for now although you can go ahead with buying a GOOD power bank but try to hold off on the battery for now. By the way,3G isn't considered mild usage in most circles but 3hrs is still low sha. |

Illuminatus: Your argument could be likened to arguing that the fuel given to a man that drives a Honda should be less expensive than the one given to a man that drives a Pegeuot 406 because it consumes less full. I (and many others like me) argue that the data give to non-BB users should be (relatively) equal in size and cost to that given to BB users.People who have just read a couple of articles like to come on NL and act like they know shii.. I hope the OP umderstands that 3Gbs of data is the same no matter what phone it is on. If you were to have a point,you'd state that Blackberry provides the 3Gb for BIS and channels it through their own servers while ISP's provide the data for android and that's why it is more expensive... |

Nsonaso: Is there really a need to root except if you want system customization.... Like flashing custom ROM and all that system tweak...There are millions of apps which require root access to either work or work properly so rooting isn't just about custom ROMS and system tweaks. 1 Like |

This jailbreak has been available for a while but surprisingly not many people know about it and I have not seen any prior posts about it on nairaland. N.B:The jailbreak is safe(tested on my iPhone5 and iPad3.Just follow the tutorial in the ioshacks link in the previous post. 1 Like |
