krugar07: exynos octa uses A7s and A15syes bro..a15's as primary while this one uses only a7's...read that the benchmark scores on antutu are over 30,000 though.. |

the exynos chip in the Samsung s4 is octa-core but only 4cores can work at a time unlike this mediatek octa -core where all 8 cores work at a time...it just wouldn't perform as well as exynos chips coz this phone uses a7's and not a9's.. |

Chinese manufacturer UMI has introduced the UMI X2S. What makes this an important handset is that it is the first smartphone to be powered by the world's first true octa-core processor, the MT6592. Produced by MediaTek, the chip can access all 8 cores at one time. This is in comparison to the Samsung Exynos 5 octa-core processor which uses the big.LITTLE architecture and can only have one group of four cores active at a time. The UMI X2S was displayed at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair which ended on Wednesday. The device is the sequel to the UMI X2. The manufacturer traditionally uses MediaTek silicon which is usually priced lower than processors made by other firms, like Qualcomm. The UMI X2S features a 5 inch screen with 1080 x 1920 resolution and is equipped with a 1.5GHz MT6592 octa-core processor under the hood. 2GB of RAM is on board along with 32GB of native storage. The 13MP snapper on back features a Sony made lens and the model supports NFC. The price of the UMI X2S ranges from RMB 1,499 ($245 USD) to RMB 1,999 ($327 USD). No launch date was announced. 1 Like

I don't know why but it seems to me that directonpc shouldn't call anybody a tecno fanboy coz nowadays he has stopped being helpful and seems to be stalking the so-called fanboys..and he is always defending gionee...the way he acts seems like fanboyism to me tho...just saying..no offense 4 Likes |

Ok I can see that a lot of people have been complaining about the camera on the tecno p5(frankly it is not up to par with the 5.0 of most blackberry's...but it is ideal)..I noticed that with the default camera app on the phone,pictures taken are pretty close to horrible but with other camera apps,the pictures are pretty decent.I have tried other camera apps such as fx camera zoom,camera 2,cymera(just a bit) and camera 360 as well as the default camera app and I can say that the pictures are way better with third party apps...I think camera360 is the best though... Now to make your camera better install camera 360,launch the app,go to settings,set contrast to 1,set exposure to 4 and set white balance to cloudy(or as preferred)...then touch the icon that looks like a wand with a star on it(I think its a wand though)then choose enhance..do not select scenes as it force closes the app(may not for you though..with this I guess your camera should be good enough to take your preferred pictures.. P.s:you have to take pictures using the camera360 app. Pp.s.this are my preferred settings you can set the app to your preference.. Ppp.s.the front camera also produces good enough pictures after this settings have been done. DAZE 1 Like |

Misterlecturer: Guys, my phone sometimes takes more than 1 touch b4 responding. I don't knw if it's just me or there's an adjustment I av 2 make. Pls help me.Go to settings~>developer options ~>show touches...after enabling this u would see where yoi touch on the screen...I was having this problem initially coz I have long nails so when I did this I got my problem solved... 1 Like |
