Welcome.. the Lord will see you through safely. The key here is to ensure you do not stress yourself. Especially in this 1st trimester. Take your prenatals. Do not travel or go on long trips. Just try as much as you can to stay away from stressful activities. At home delegate chores or get help during these periods. Drink lots of water, eat Vegetables and especially fruits that are acceptable at this stage.

Pele senior preggy, your nose is my nose's sis, anything and everything smells to me too but i can still cope, don't worry the joyful end is around the corner.

Make your friends around you do the pampering, tell them nicely what they can help with. If possible start scouting for older trusted women that can help you with omugwo for a token, do what makes you happy and relaxed don't think too much of anything that bothers you, be thankful and live for today and know of a fact that tomorrow will always take care of itself, you have come a long way already i can boldly say you have the strength to last through whatever is coming.

Come borrow my nose, i don't smell anything not even the food i eat. It was so before my pregnancy hoping it will change during the pregnancy for where nothing. Kplele my dear

my friend o..lol..oya borrow me o...cos the smell no be here. Furniture smell, plastic smell, fruit smell, Perfumes etc..Infact I made dh stop creaming and using anything with fragrance.I've changed soaps like 6 times cos of smell.lol.I can't drink room temperature water cos it makes me puke. Watermelon and Vegetable soups is my biggest challenge. can't keep them down.. so interesting a journey. in all I thank God for everything. I know it will be fine soon.

You are not alone sister, God is with you and dh is there to give you the humanly comfort to help make the journey ease. Try playing music such as gospels. Talk to people you can count on. Let dh know your fears. Declare positively to yourself and baby aloud.

@Dbeauty please don’t be depressed. You’ll be fine with just dh’s care for now and when baby comes, try to get help from close friends/family. Remember those ttc days and carry through sis. As for the MS, I’m still vomiting too (Cos I’m tired of taking the anti-nausea drug). it helps to eat in bits and avoid foods with strong smells which might trigger the vomiting.

You will surely cope my dear. I have a mother but no MIL. My mom didn't come to see me until like 2 month after birth. I did everything myself and when she even came sef, she didnt do much. Your inner strength would surprise you. If I can do it, I believe you can to.

Team January don almost born finish o.

I never see road since I born. I'm now a mom of 3 with no help, my mom should be landing tomorrow hopefully I can come up for air from tomorrow. I feel swamped/overwhelmed, aches and pains everywhere cos I've not rested properly, I've locked myself in because I don't want to see anybody feeling depression setting in but I will fight it. Hubby helps out a lot, phcn have forgotten us for 8 months now + the terrible heat. So sorry for posting this here but I just needed to vent.

My own rant o..

This one I and dh don't have mothers now..afraid is catching me how I will cope. I'm scared aswear. Even this phase has just been God o. Cos I'm still vomiting every single morning before going to work. It leaves me so exhausted. No one to pamper me sef except dh. But you know those kind of pampering mother's give? I miss it loads...plus my elder ones are not close by at all. Seriously I try not to be depressed but it's not easy. Just me and my God o. Now I just wonder how I will cope when baby comes.

@cappo sunbestie and my dear teamies how I go do na? Any suggestions on how to fight this depression? Afraid is catching me. Jesus dey with me sha.

The Lord who has given you this baby will be with you. Jesus Christ Himself will sustain your pregnancy and keep you safe. You and your baby shall be alive for the world to see. You are covered with the Blood of Jesus.

Rest in the fact that Jesus is with you. And when he is with you nothing can cause you harm.. pls read psalm 91 everyday. I speak peace into you in Jesus name.

I lost the pregnancy yesterday, i can't sleep, my baby came out still inside the sac. I felt i was too careless but dere was no heartbeat and it looks so small, dont even know what went wrong. It is well, thanks fir tge concerns.

Good news alert yippeeeeee its a BFP ............ God of awesome wonders has fulfilled is promise I took this test exactly 2am on Tuesday but did a bloodtest earlier today which also came out positive I don't know how to express how I feel right now I wish I can scream that every one can hear me loud on the thread but impossible thanks to everyone for word of advice many times I don't even know what to do next after trying many things but this thread is a home from another home where one get encouraged despite what we all are going through may the lord remember everyone for good soon and we shall encounter his divine encounter before the end of this year baby dust sprinkled everywhere.
