Who is Siminalayi Fubara? Amaopusenibo Siminalayi “Sim” Fubara is the 2023 governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers state. He is favoured to win the March 11, 2023, gubernatorial election, according to an opinion poll conducted by Anap Foundation in collaboration with NOIPolls Limited. Age He was born on January 28, 1975. Fubara, as at 2023, is 48 years old. Tribe He was born in Opobo Town in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State. In the Opobo-Ibani dialect, his name, ‘Siminalayi’, translates as ‘the poor may beget the rich’. Parents Sim Fubara is the second of five children and the first son of the late Joseph Fubara, a former soldier, and the late Love Joseph Fubara, a civil servant. His parents were both descendants of the Fubara and Jaja families of Opobo town Education Siminalayi attended Opobo Primary School where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1986. Fubura proceeded to Comprehensive Secondary School, Opobo, where he obtained the West African School Certificate in 1992. Sim has a degree in Business Education with specialisation in accountancy from the former Rivers State University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University). Fubara has a Master of Science Degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Port Harcourt Business School. He also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. Career Sim Fubara career started in 2003 when he was appointed as a classroom teacher by the Rivers State Post-Primary Schools Board, and posted to the Comprehensive High School, Alesa-Eleme. He taught there for five years and transferred his service in 2007 from the Board to the Ministry of Finance on the rank of Senior Accountant. He was Senior Accountant before being promoted as Principal Accountant. He was later promoted as Chief Accountant, Assistant Director, and Deputy Director. He rose to the position of director of finance and accounts at the State’s government house in 2015 and rose to the position of permanent secretary in March 2020 Fubara rose to the pinnacle of his career as Accountant General of Rivers state. In May 2022, Fubara was declared winner of the Rivers state gubernatorial primary elections. He won with a total of 721 votes against other 15 aspirants that contested in the election. Kamalu Isaac 86, George Kelly 37, Danagogo Tammy 36, Chief West Morgan got four votes, Briggs David four, Felix Obuah two votes, and eight void votes. Summary of work experience Principal Accountant with the Rivers State Senior Secondary Schools Board – 2003 Director of Finance and Accounts, Rivers State Government House – 2015 Permanent Secretary, Rivers State Government House – Mar 2020 Accountant General, Rivers State – Dec 2020 – May 2022 Controversy In May 2022, Fubara and 58 other government officials were declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for N435 billion fraud. He was also wanted for N117 billion fraud alongside four other Rivers State government officials. Additional charges by the EFCC included alleged criminal conspiracy, money laundering, misappropriation of public funds, and abuse of office.

Greetings fellow Nairalanders I feel ashamed writing this thread, but i have to speak out cus it seems am been deprived of my right(freedom of movement). I have this chubby neighbour of mine that just moved inside our compound few weeks ago, she is fair, average, sexy, beautifully made and financial stable but she is not yet married cus she is still a student. it all started after she asked me where she can buy something and i directed her since then i have been her guyest guy , she usually calls me to give her a massage, do this, do that and many more things to mention, so there was a day she ask me to com wen i got there she told me to do her a favour; that i should be her sugarboy Please am tired of hiding as if i stole something, i really need advice from matured minds on what to tell her cus am afraid of giving NO as an answer cus she has been good and caring ever since.
