2005 Accord 4-cyl

Good morning,
I am having issues with my camry 07 transmission. Three days ago the Shaft and cup was replaced

After the replace ment was done the gear started slipping and at a point stopped moving and when I put it on reverse it makes a loud noise but reverse works.

Scanned the car and it showed P0776 code.

Plz advice or gear specialist is needed.

You didn't mention what the issue was before you replaced the shaft and cup.

Never replace components with China parts. Buy OEM.

USE only recommended fluids.

Please advice.
I noticed that during acceleration, engine rpm hesitates at 2000 rpm for a while then rises again. This is more noticeable when engine is loaded eg. With AC on or with 5 occupants in the vehicle or climbing a steep hill.

Please what should be looked into?

NOTE -- Vehicle is a 2005 Accord, 4-cyl, auto transmission.
No check engine light and no fault codes when scanned.
Transmission shifts very fine.
Air filter was replaced, but fault persists.
Tyres are at rated pressure, balanced and aligned.

Why should one associate a bad seat belt lock to a bad airbag. I'm a bit confused here.

Well, you are right. A bad seat belt lock does not mean a bad airbag.

But, a bad seat belt lock could prevent your airbags from deploying properly if in an accident.
So, whenever the SRS system detects a malfunction in the seat belt lock, it will throw you a code and illuminate the airbag light.

I think this was actually on Saturday June 15, opposite Delightsome hotel, during the heavy downpour.

If the whine occurs when you turn the steering, then it's an easy fix.
Simply replace the inlet O-ring on the power steering pump.
You can do it yourself. Easy.

I even suggested he should get his mech to check the shaft and CV joints.
He told me his mechanic said that the car doesn't use shaft.

Recently, my colleague observed some little vibration from the front right wheel of his '05 eod only when accelerating. What could cause this please?

Mechanic says he needs to replace the two rear engine seats.
