Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has said that the school feeding programme of the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government must be done without the proposed 40 per cent counterpart funding from States.

He said the Federal Government was already looking for an excuse for the impending failure of the programme by asking states to contribute 40 per cent to the scheme.

The governor, who said his state was interested in the scheme, added that the school feeding programme was purely a contract between the APC-led Federal Government and Nigerians.

“Were the States consulted before the APC made the promise during the presidential campaign? How can you make a promise and win election on the basis of that promise and now expect States to help you to fulfil the promise? That to me is fraud!”

Fayose in a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said Ekiti and other states in the country deserved to benefit from the programme without assisting the federal government with any 40 per cent counterpart funding.

“Apart from the fact that Ekiti State lacked the financial wherewithal to provide counterpart fund for such a programme, it is the duty of President Muhammadu Buhari and his APC that won election on the basis of their promise to give free meal to school pupils to fulfil the promise without placing any burden on other tiers of government.”

The governor said the APC should rather blame itself for failing to do a proper study on the practicability of the scheme before promising Nigerians instead of looking for who to blame for not fulfilling the school feeding promise.

“The federal government knows that 80 per cent of the states lack the financial will to be able to contribute the 40 per cent counterpart fund for the programme and the time the programme eventually fails, Nigerians will be told that it failed because States did not key in to it.

“As for us in Ekiti, we are interested in the programme because Nigeria belongs to all of us. But we won’t contribute any counterpart fund because the programme is solely an electoral promise of the APC and we were never consulted before the promise was made.

“We don’t even have the capability to make any financial contribution even if it is 10 per cent because our financial condition is such that we can’t even pay workers salary,” Fayose said.

I don't know if she has abandoned her studies in the UK to assume the role of first daughter of the federation since she is now forming royalty or maybe she has since graduated but refused to go for the mandatory NYSC service scheme. If she has graduated then what is stopping her getting a job and moving out of Aso Rock as she can not be considered a dependent anymore since she is now an adult.

i hereby demand that Zarah Buhari MUST submit herself to NYSC and be posted to Gbamaturu Kingdom, Warri to serve as a youth corper.



Zarah and Yusuf Buhari are adults and so should move out of Aso Rock and fend for themselves.


As a former military man, Buhari ought to know that when a ward of any serving officer or personnel attains the age of 18, the ward is expected to vacate the barracks .


In that spirit I am demanding that Zarah and Yusuf Buhari who will be 22 and 27 yrs this year must as a matter of urgency be asked to vacate Aso Rock.

This girl Zarah does absolutely nothing and as an adult I don't understand why she must be housed and fed in Aso Rock at public expense.

Buhari must either get her a job or find her a husband who will rightfully enforce the hijab rule that she has been flouting with her absolutely haram professionally done photo sessions that so happens to be paid from public coffers.

Gbawe, Egift, Plaindealer, Obiagelli, Beremx and a host of other APC shills are not as active as they used to prior to May 29.


The reason for this is simply down to Buhari relegating the Lagos based APC online shilling mafia for one ab0ki who was appointed as SA to New Media.

This has not gone down well with the online shills as they felt they put more effort in swinging SW votes that where crucial to Buhari's victory at the polls. Gbawe lamented that "what is there in convincing an ab0ki to vote another ab0ki?. We did all the hard work and not that small boy oga hired as SA to new media!".


There is also the issue of financing which has virtually stopped since all money now goes to the ab0ki SA on New Media alone and with most SW states bankrupt in debt to their ears, financing the shilling machinery from APC state coffers has virtually stopped apart from Arresa who is still employed by Osun state to post different pictures of the same school every month.

How sad.

Although I do not pity these set of people as they shilled with passion for Buhari's candidate not out of love to see Nigeria better but because they thought at the end that they will be rewarded with appointments and juicy package.
