I pick my pen once again to write for it is indeed a noble cause, a pen that have been filled with dust due to lack of inspiration. The last time I was motivated to write was when I heard of the gruesome manner a corpers lodge in Wammakko LG of Sokoto State was burnt to the ground and how my good friend Maureen was attacked on her way back from fellowship.

I know a public opinion will be why use "Tribute" , is Senior Corper Vincent dead? the answer is a resounding No and God Forbid. my friend Vincent is very much bouncing. According to Advance English Dictionary, Tribute is An acknowledgment of gratitude, respect or admiration; an accompanying gift.

least with the above definition one can easily identify why I chose the word "TRIBUTE".

How I remember, rather fondly 24th of Nov last year when I got my posting letter and I saw J.S.S RIMAWA. (the first day I met the GREAT fellow, SNR VINCENT) how will I forget the long and crazy 2hours journey to our PPA. with hopes held high thanks to the speech by Mr Talama (L.I) only for us to meet the infamous CORPERS LODGE Rimawa. but it was Ur administrative prowlers and maturity that gave calm to us and immediately the though of renting an apartment left my mind. THANK YOU CORPER VINCENT.

In you I saw a young man that embraced God in the early stage of his life and that you have imbibed in us all. THANK YOU CORPER VINCENT

when ever I come visiting in Riamwa, your pot was always open to us. This might be funny but THANK YOU CORPER VINCENT

we came to RIMAWA a place that have been without light for months but with Ur leadership ability you restored power and now we even own a Generating Set, we are not using. THANK YOU CORPER VINCENT.

Good morning Good corp members

Yesterday 2nd of February 2015. A tragedic incid. ent happened here in our very own Sokoto State.
There was a clash between PDP supporters member and APC supporters in Tambuwa LG and during the clash the entire Corper's lodge was raised down in flames. We Thank God that the Corp members were not inside when it happen so no life was lost.
But imagine the amount of valuables that will be lost in that incident

Original Credentials of corp members , cloths , laptops ,Phones and also foodstuffs. Things that no matter what our #19800 allowie can't get them back for you.

Now I ask, is this service to our father's land or a targeted attack on we corp members here in Sokoto state.

What are the grievances of the thugs that raised down the corpers lodge. What were the offences committed by the Corp members.

The election is yet to commence and these people are behaving this way.

In town it is no news that the kind of new shinny matchet that these supporters of the various parties do carry about. Another question begging for answers is "are there now clamouring for votes with matchets, or they are indirectly sending us a message we are too blind to see"

Last week my very good friend Maureen was attacked in Sokoto ( Fodio Road ) in particular when she was coming back from Fellowship by these same supporters of political parties, A big full brick was stoned at her from behind, and the poor girl fainted on the spot. Only to be rushed to hospital by a close by corp member. As at the time of writing this, NYSC is yet to return money spent on her medicals.

This leads to another question begging for immediate answer, "why have Maureen done wrong, Who did Maureen offend by going for fellowship"
The big answer to this question is a big and resounding NO ONE.

My clamouring for departure from this place during this time of election have always been that I am so so so so not comfortable with the body language of these thugs of the two core political parties here.

Now I would I av loved to gladly say, "please oh, my fellow corp members be very careful as usual " but will you say the Corp members in Tambuwa were not careful or perhaps Maureen my friend was not careful.

God Almighty will never turn his back on we Sokoto Corp members in Jesus name. AMEN.

I just discovered today that you can now place bet on your favourite candidate winning the presidential election. President Jonathan is the favourite with an odd of 4.0 , while Buhari is with an odd of 2.0 so also the other contestant with their own amazing odd.
So to all Buhari die hard supporters you can now double your money by supporting the CHANGE bringer "GMB"

People should not lose sight of the fact that most Imolites are very educated and have always got unnecessary sentiments during elections in check hence, would not buy into the baseless propaganda of APC being a Boko Haram party(which is already worn out). Owelle is a model and a grassroot man loved by many in Imo State nay the world and I'm happy he is openly supporting the aspiration and candidacy of Buhari. We are Imolites and MOST of us ain't ingrates, we reward hardwork with more work. It is a general legal terminology that before a man is set for condemnation he should be given a fair trial, but judging by public opinion among the common man in IMO state, a man is about facing persecution for an offence yet relatively unknown, and that man is Rochas Okorocha.
A man once tagged the messiah of IMO state, a man that came with a rescue operation that was highly accepted by Imolites.
IMO state , have always been a state with a strong political voice, a state where votes are casted, monitored and protected by the voting population. No wonder when a former governor Ihedi Ohakim was voted out of office, President Jonathan congratulated Rochas on his election saying that the people of Imo state have spoken through the ballot box.
Now when Rochas came into power, he made his focus known that Free Education in Imo state is his government top priority, which to a very large extent the government of Rochas have tried in achieving that.
A public opinion movement carried out by me in December 2014 placed a very large percentage of Imolite on a mission to kick Rochas out of government house , some even boasted that they will do to him what they did to Ohakim come 2015 pools, when I went further to ask them their greviance over Rochas Administration they said that "Rochas have joined Boko Haram party " some said " Rochas is a Muslim only pretending to be a Christian" then a collected few said they are not Happy with a billboard along weathdral - control express where Rochas was placed in a picture with a little girl on hijab and also a woman, saying that this is a clear indication that their Governor is now a Muslim. But a clear observation of most of their greviances one will observe that none pin points to the administration of Gov Rochas, but rather an expression of anger over Rochas romance with APC and their leaders, but what most of my respondents failed to understand is that APGA(a party I have nothing against) is a regional party , judging by its actions and inactions, and this was made very visible by APGA endorsing President Jonathan as her Presidential candidate for the 2015 Presidential elections, so common sense will tell anyone that is eying the presidency that a party like APGA is not where you can achieve such vision, Gov Rochas fell into this category and he moved on to a party that have a say in the center and to prove his point, he contested in the APC primaries though he lost to Buhari.
A step which Gov Rochas is trending that should be applauded is the fact that he is portraying himself as a national leader rather than a regional one, and that have been a glitch faced by most of our founding father's.
In conclusion to this, looking critically at the matters at hand, why have the people of Imo prepared to crucify without due consideration or without stating their greviances. If Ur an Imolite reading this, Ur comments will be highly welcomed also if Ur not an Imolite but a consigned Nigerian plz air your view.
