But in all honesty, Buhari is a joke. As a student of politics, Jonathan is even better than him. Is it the issue of divisiveness, pushing his deputy who is more brilliant than him into the dark and elevating some funny characters because of nepotism or sectionalism? Or do you want us to talk about poor or worsening insecurity, economic mismanagement, leadership disconnect, favouritism, unconstitutional actions, elevating the herdsmen above the law and many others? In all honesty, what is there to celebrate about Buhari and APC at the centre? APC might be good and effective in Lagos but it has failed at the Centre under Buhari.

Now back to your question, while not holding brief for Reno and FFK, their defence of GEJ might have resulted from the unrelenting attacks against GEJ by this government even after being in he saddle for more than 5 years, same number of years GEJ was in power as president. At least you cannot deny that GEJ in spite of the loopholes in his government ran a better administration than Buhari. He built schools for thousands of Almajiris the same people that are being pushed here and there in mass deportations by the same APC government which abandoned those Almajiri schools, among others.

Buhari does not have what it takes to lead 21st century Nigeria, I am sorry. I am not PDP or for PDP but for good governance.

I always support APC in my posts only because PDP as a party have lost the right and morality to talk in this country. Anything that represents PDP should just shut up for now.
At least for another 10 years.

Buhari to me is not what Nigeria needs ATM.
He is old and needs to have a rest but we all know that isn't happening till 2023.

There are a lot of physically and mentally strong people who can be President.
Out of the bunch of the forerunners today, I really wish Osinbajo would be supported to take over in 2023.

Note that am not limiting it to PYO out of 10 million Nugerians but of the names being suggested today, he has my support.

So, for me APC needs a younger and more vibrant and intelligent leader to take over.
