Stop been silly.As Long as a Governor is in office he cannot be prosecuted for any crime including murder. The immunity clause is absolute and covers all crimes.If however a Governor is clearly seen to have committed a grave crime,the state house of Assembly will be pressured to impeach him.But as long as a Governor is still in office he is immune from all criminal and civil prosecutions including murder. Section 308 is very clear,it makes no exceptions.The immunity is complete and absolute.

If the Senate can't do that what is stopping Buhari from declaring a SOE and removing Fayose and Wike from office since he has absolute powers.!!!

The declaration of a state of emergency still does not mean the governor has been removed from office.The only way to remove a governor from office is through impeachment!!
