really he impressed? not for me though. for 90 minutes I didn't see him dribble past any player on that wing or attempt to take on any player. he didn't give away possession alright but he kept on playing short short passes around that right area. a dani alvez, a juafran, an antonia valencia would make runs on that right wing and attempt to take on players on their way before sending a glorious cross into the box. how many times did vidal do that or attempt to do that?

Well... To say we should prioritise the Champions League as against the league would admittedly mean we have somewhat conceeded defeat to Real Madrid. No? For me, it's too early to start talking about what and what competition how priorities should be. Why? Because the Champions League is a long way from now, taking into account the fact that we are already done with the group stage. Hence, Champions League footie would resume just over 2 months from now, and you can imagine talking about prioritising a competition that's 2 months away over the one that is still running.

What I would say is this; since we ain't got Champions League footie to bug ourselves with, and for now the Copa del Rey is more like a child's play, considering the fact that until January or thereabouts, we won't be playing any serious team, all our attention should be focused on winning every points in the league (both home and away). Okay imagine that we have gained more points away than home in the league this season. If we can correct this anomaly and work towards improving the team generally, we can fight head-on with a view to winning all matches henceforth.

So in conclusion, and to answer your question more directly, prioritising the league is all we have to do now since the Champions League KO is just over 2 months away. If, when the time comes for us to resume playing Champions League footie and we are still in this sorta predicament, then I would definitely advocate for prioritising the Champions League over the League.
