Have you ever gone to the Madrid thread? they never say anything good about Barca,but when their stewpid team gets trashed by Barca they say whats on their mind some giving credit to whom it's due,while some give an excuse and finds another way to accuse Barca or something else!

let me tell you bro,during that Bayern match,i was in a viewing center with two other Barca supporting frnd of mine and 1 other frnd supporting madrid. when we were 3-0 down my Barca supporting frnds all left and were laughed out, i was there saying that all we needed was a goal to boost our morale,the goal dat came was not from Barca,My friend was laughing and saying to other viewers "MAKE UNA SEE BARCA FAN"...u kn skul life na,i no kn who threw pure water satchet on me,they mocked m till d final minutes,The 2nd leg of the tie...i came to the same center again, and there was my madrid frnd again,same thing...a 3-0 and this time i couldnt say anything except" IT HAPPENS" we were going to have a quiz the next day,i read but i never understood what i read that night,the quiz was postponed though!

Bayern? the best in the world right now,Barca being beaten by Bayern again? ofcourse, A Psg,Madrid,Dortmund,Juventus can beat Barca right now,. Barca is unsettled in a big way,we don't wven have depth,our defence is inconsistent,our midfield is still trying to find it's balance,our attack is still saving us a bit.


P.S-Bayern is indeed the best team in Europe @ the moment and any league they enter now,they will probably win easily(though not with 20points oo,lol).

without a doubt bayern are the best. We also did achieve more lofty heights a couple of years ago. The debate was not about the best in the world but about league competitiveness and why I am coming in is to try to put an end to all of this 'german league is more competitive or la liga is more competitive' because simply, none of the epl, bundesliga, serie a and la liga is even 5 percent competitive.

Doesn't change my support for Fc Barcelona. Bayern were virtually unstoppable last season, and we need to give them the credit, instead of trying to cheapen their achievements like a bunch of chumps. I support Barca but I enjoy football, and watch all the leagues and their best teams.

Bayern Munich of the 20-points saga did put a total of 11 unanswered goals past both Juve and Barca (who incidentally finished 15 points ahead of Madrid in the Spanish log ) in the Champions' league.

Wow, I missed a lot here. But if I may add, this argument on the top 4 leagues about which is more competitive is so baseless and it is a charade! The words 'more competitve' should never come in use when discussing the epl, the serie a, la liga and the bundesliga. The ideal words are 'more less competitve'. there is basically a zero competitiveness rating among the 4 leagues. The 4 leagues' non competitiveness all fall between 92 to 100 in percentages. In all them leagues you have mostly the same top 4, mostly the same winner, and record 7-0 scorelines occassionally. So many fans esp the epl fans love to body themselves and speak about the one sidedness or 2 sidedness of other leagues but it's all hypocrisy! so pls lets put aside the argument and argue on something more worhty, this one is so so so baseless. It's all like an ant and a fly arguing about who is bigger when they should be on about who is smaller or like tinubu and oshomole arguing about who is finer when they should be on about who is ug****

well I don't know if ronaldo was portugal's top scorer as well but the important difference is that one topped hi group to qualify automatically but the other had to go through a play off.

People often talk about mr A winning 5 trophies or mr B scoring a hundred goals but it's a thing of discretion. It's not exclusively goals scored or trophies won, we might look at it as a slight mix of the two, and then the voter's discretion comes in.

One of the biggest flaws of the ballon dor awards is waiting until november to do the voting. Voting should be done in june and the result announced maybe september october or november. The whole thing is made so ambiguous because a football year is different from a calendar year. June is the month titles are won, both trophies and golden shoes. Injustice is metted out when voters have to vote in nov, thereby forgetting what has happened btw last november and august. June is the climax month of football even in a world cup year that's when voting ought to be done. We will be spared of much controversy, and of course voting remains the best option we have.

there were 2 different awards over the past 3 days. the first one was organized by marca and they awarded ronaldo the la liga player of the season(best player in la liga) and messi the pichichi(top scorer). the second one was was organized by the spanish football association(LFP) and voted for by professional footballers in la liga. and they awarded messi the la liga player of the season(best player) and la liga forward of the season(best striker) and ronaldo the most valuable player. the second one organized by the spanish FA is of course the authentic one. and i must point it out that the MVP given to ronaldo was just fromed for the first time to make him stop crying.
