very good point. suarez and messi are so talented they dont need to be restricted. they could switch positions a million times during the game. that will make them a handful for defenders to cope with.

Sometimes illusions just get into people's heads and it sticks like a sticker. The irony is that so far argentina's defence has been superb but the attack has been embarrasingly pathetic! Embarrasingly pathetic I repeat!! Their problem isn't concession of goals but lack of goals. Apart from messi who else scored? An own goal and marcos rojo. I don't know what games people are watching but from my tv set rojo, zabaleta, fernandez and garay have been impressive while aguero has been poor. What about higuain? Higuain can't even dribble one defender to win 1 million pounds. HIGUAIN IS THE WORST PLAYER at BRAZIL 2014. Seriously whoever says argentina's defence is the problem just has that fixated in their mind. The number 10 named gago is just a midfield congestion, sabella better player 10 men instead. With belgium and the netherlands in their path, argentina will not win the world cup if only messi and de maria keep doing the jobs of 6 midfielders/attackers. One more thing, the goal keeper romero has made some incredible saves. He isn't argentina's problem.

Piqué doesn't deserve to be a captain please! What are the qualities you see in him in relation to being a captain? For me, the first two captains should be Iniesta and Messi in whatever order, I won't really care about that. The rest can follow (that is, the 3rd anf 4th captains), I don't care who the 3rd and 4th captains are. I just want either of Iniesta or Messi to be the number one captain and the other the vice.

I personally agree with Enrique that captaincy shouldn't be about the length of stay or who is the best footballer on the pitch. I think it's more about having the right attitude and composure in steering the team in the right direction. Little wonder he made mention of Mascherano. His attitude and the passion he has can never be overemphasised.

mascherano surely has got attitude. But he shouldn't be in the first team. Not at CB and not at DM cus it's busquets over him. He should just be a cover up for both DM and CB. He can't be captain. I am very sure it will be iniesta or pique.

I don't interprete it as captaincy. He will remain the main player and the hub of the team like he has been for the past 5 years even with puyol as captain. I think iniesta will be captain.

Judging from my heart, I really feel pity for suarez, the guy has a serious problem and I hope he gets treatment because it's an act of shame. His kids could be mocked at school. Majority of people supporting him for the world to see would go behind close doors and feel shame for him. Biting people in public, not once, not twice but thrice. Then judging with my head, the right thing to do would be to stop suaarez from playing football. A 4 month ban is very very very lenient from FIFA, this is the truth.
