These are impeachable misconduct especially spending without appropriation as a governor. Most of us shouted here that disobeying that Justice Omotoshos judgement will not favour the governor.
Online supporters were shouting nothing dey happen forgetting that the country has a constitution.

The Letter of Notice of Allegations of Gross Misconduct that made it online today is a move that became necessary at this time given that the Governor had failed to act within their estimated expectations.

Recall that before the Supreme Court Judgment, all actions of the Governor were duly backed up by court orders. The Governor relied on instructions of the court to work with the Oko Jumbo Led Assembly and that order remained valid until it was set aside by a higher court.

Every litigation process has an end and the Supreme Court being the Apex court gave a ruling and asked that the Governor represent the 2025 budget and recognize the Amaewhule-led Assembly as the legitimate house of Assembly.

What the Wike camp didn’t expect was the Governor’s tact in swiftly obliging to all orders of the Supreme Court.

They began with the 48 hours ultimatum and expected the Governor to ignore however, the Governor and his strategic team wrote a letter to the State House of Assembly notifying them that they were yet to receive the said letter that had the ultimatum, but rather saw soft copies of it online and that however, the Governor was awaiting the Certified True Copy of the Judgment so he can implement swiftly.

All they were looking for was a justified ground to base their actions for impeachment.

They had hoped that a more tangible misconduct would be that of the Governor failing to obey the Supreme Court judgment and representing the budget or blatantly ignoring their letter.

The Governor even personally showed up at the Assembly Quarters to present the Budget but was locked out.

The Governor then wrote again to the Assembly communicating his willingness to present the budget at a given time or any time convenient for them in March.

From asking LGA Chairmen to step down to Showing up to present the budget, the Governor’s early moves disrupted their calculations.

One can categorically state that the Governor hasn’t gone contrary to the Law after the Supreme Court Judgement.

It is also worthy of noting that previous actions of the governor were carried out by orders of the court be it right or wrong. Where there was a contrary judgment, the case was pursued up to the Supreme Court, and upon a ruling, the Governor has now formally submitted to the new order setting aside the old one he worked with.

So you’d ask if they know this, why are they going ahead with this notice?

The answer is simple, to induce chaos!

It’s just like missing your target that you're supposed to shoot and shoot upwards so the loud noise can rattle him wherever he is.

The second reason is to add more aces for them to negotiate with on the negotiation board.

As for impeachment, while it is within their constitutional right to attempt it, they know the political blunder of attempting a move when you barely hold the aces.

Everything in warfare is strategy and the Governor is getting it right!

There was a bomb blast at the building which shocked the foundation, and sequel to the integrity test carried out by experts, he was advised to demolish it for reconstruction...


This is what his defence will be to the Rivers CJ Simeon Amadi panel and he will be cleared of any wrong doing...

I know some people will ask if they know more than the Supreme Court justices and I will say "Yes there is a possibility"

The Supreme Court does not necessarily comprise the most brilliant judges in the country, it is basically a panel of the most senior judges in the country.

We all went to school and we all know that for instance the most brilliant student in SS 2 might be more intelligent than at least 90 percent of the students in SS3.

So yes there are very many Appeal Court and High Court judges who could be more intelligent than some of the Supreme Court judges.

If you read carefully what this panel of 11 judges has said, you will understand that the Supreme Court was clearly biased in it's judgement.

There is no longer need cos if Fubara had listen to the peaceful resolution brokered by the president, he won't have find himself in this political tight corner. 1. Wike put Fubara in power in order to control the policies and finances of the state for another 8 years;; seeing that Fubara looked quiet, submissive and weak;; a typical yes-man!

That is the summary of the problem of Rivers State currently.

It's judgement is binding and as it stands Fubara is in way above his political experience. Him f--k up big time. Elections will be conducted with which money? Does Rivers State have a budget? Anything on a lawless foundation won't stand. I see Fubara is still deceiving himself that he has commissioners.

• The Assembly members asked Fubara to send a list of Commissioners-Designate but he refused.

• Fubara instructed the criminal heading RSIEC and other staff not to honour the invitation of the Assembly. Having not accounted for the unappropriated funds they squandered on a sham election, these criminals can't wait to repeat it again.

• The Assembly sent a letter stipulating a time frame for Fubara to present the budget, but he instructed his staff to reject any correspondence from the Assembly.

• After demolishing the Assembly building due to the fear of impeachment, what is the state of the building now? It is easy to destroy.

• This same lawless element illegally withheld the funds of the legislators.

• On the 10th of March, the clueless element who instructed his staff not to receive correspondence from the Assembly, had the audacity to claim he was trying to send correspondence to them. Without any acknowledgement of the said letter, no copies of the so-called budget was in the possession of the lawmakers, the clown showed up claiming he wanted to present the budget.

The Supreme Court did the right thing by stopping the federal allocation to Rivers State until the governor presents the budget. Rightly declaring that there is a no government in Rivers State.

The Commissioner of Police in Rivers State should be removed, if he can't get the criminals who had disobeyed the summons of the Assembly arrested. Our laws must be obeyed in this country, else anarchy will reign.

Only clueless fools believe a man who demolished the Assembly building of Rivers State is a saint.
